Soil - Hydro - 2400w Led - 2000w HPS - 8 Strains - 1 GPW+

Re: Blue Planet Nutrients-Soil-Hydro-2400w Led-2000w Hps-8 Strains-1 GPW+

With the feed times i still wouldnt go more than 4 times per day mate, it'll encourage faster root growth as they'll be searching for the water. i usually stick with 3 feeds of 15 mins but have ran 4 also.

seems like u have figured out the problem, a simple switch of nutes. maybe u could run r/o water but its a head ache on big res's unless u get an industrial setr up. the regular 5 stage filters without pumps are too slow to fill the res.

they look slighly better this morning, an industrial ro system is out of the question lol...my wife would have my nuts for dessert if I blew a few grand on a system big enough to keep up with over a 100 gallons a week. I fed all the girls in soil yesterday and they are all showing the same signs now so looks like I ll be flushing them all today, once ive flushed them should I feed them a light feeding or let em dry out before I feed them again?

U must not have been married for long... I would LOVE my wife to eat my nuts for desert... or maybe even just a birthday.

We call that foreplay son lol.
Idc if its a kick, after the first 3 years any publicity for them is good publicity Haha.

I know what ya mean man. My bills were probably 1/4 of yours and she's eyein meat cleavers and shit. I'd put a reinforced door and deadbolt on that growroom door, like a make shift panic room haha

A few grand? How big is your res? The simple solution is an RO holding tank. My system, that cost ~$150, makes 50 GPD. That's enough since I only have a single 50g reservoir. My RO goes into a 55+G barrel with a float valve, so it's always full. When I bring the second room online, I can add another stage and the GPD will increase to 100 and my waste water will cut in half. That will only cost another ~$80 or so. Seems reasonable to me.

Hey Jon, I'm asking the hydro guys I sub to take a look at a problem I'm having. Mind stopping by my journal? I have one plant with ugly roots and looking for thought/ideas. Thanks

Re: Blue Planet Nutrients-Soil-Hydro-2400w Led-2000w Hps-8 Strains-1 GPW+

the ro system i just got does 150 GPD and is designed for low pressure well water systems, has special filter to remove iron which is notoriously a problem with well water, also has a filter that remineralizes the water to 15-30ppms of calmag. $350 including shipping. 55gal barrel and float valve and you wont be wondering if its your water when issues arise.
hey jon quick question , when you do your topping do you top all the main tips at once, or do your top the tallest ones first and wait to do the others when they catch up?
thanks again for all the help:thanks:

I was talking like a whole house Culligan system but your method sounds better im just not sure where I would put the barrel right now, I ll be doing it as soon as the new space is built though. maybe I can stuff it somewhere, can the lines be as long as you want?
