Re: Blue Planet Nutrients-Soil-Hydro-2400w Led-2000w Hps-8 Strains-1 GPW+

I started a flush this morning with ph'ed water and some BPN micco's. I wont be getting the res until tonight when my wife gets home from work.So an 8 hr flush.I thijnk im going to try running GH micro with BPN grow and bloom with liquid seaweed for a day or 2 and see how they do.If everything looks good I ll reintroduce BPN b vitamines and run that for the rest of the week. If they look like they've fully recovered I ll flip then.Im not going to use any cal/mag or epsom salts for the first bit so i ll keep an eye open for any defficiencies that start up. Maybe I dont need any cal/mag with my hardwater. heres some pics, you can really see the difference in recovery rate betwen the plants under the hps and the ones under the led's. the plants under the led's are almost fully recovered and the ones under the hps are definetly taking longer.
this is the chernobyl in the system, she got the worste of it by far but it looks like the new growth is going to be fine

Heh I just love leds, more and more .... :laughtwo:

The plants indeed seem to be recovered bro, I'm really curious in what caused that ... If Epsom salts won't work for you , I don't know what to think, as this is the only product I can find here, there's no cal/mag or calimagic etc..

Despite the defs, they look really nice and healthy bro , you did a great job !!
Well done :thumb:

(Damn I didn't know you ve been using hard water ....)

Thanks Billy, I think it was a combination of the bugbombs I probably should only of used 2 of them and switching nutes. switching from hardwater micro to regular micro definetly had an effect, all of a sudden they're were probably getting triple the calcium and mag, I added cal/mag as well, total brainfart that was. and then theres switching from MH to led/hps, to many things changed to quickly for them. It just goes to show even the healthiest plants have they're limits, and man it doesnt take long for them to let you know they arent happy!Hopefully they make a full recovery and soon, I need to flip but I dont want to until I know for sure things are ok.

I'm glad they are recovering. As soon as you mentioned you have hard water and are using the calmag, I suspected you were having the same problem I was. The hardwater has too much Ca in it which locks the Mg out, and you were adding more. At least that's what I read. Adding the Epsom salts should sort things out.

Said it all there mate. plants are like people. too much change isnt appreciated. small changes gradually usually work best.

As for the ph in hydro 5.2-6.2 is the range i work in. in veg i will set ph at 5.2 and let it rise to 5.8and in flower i set to 5.4 and let it raise to 6.2. that way u can be certain there is no ph lock outs.

When using a reservoir, that is the perfect scenario, never done it, but I've seen a thing or two and that is how its done. +reps to you mr cultivator.

Just catching up Jon - your journals move so fast! Really sorry to hear about the issues - they sprang out of nowhere, that's the last thing you wanted. Sounds like you've got on top of it and things are on their way to recovery which is cool

Thanks GK, I was flipping out for a bit but things look like they're going to be ok bro:)

Jon. Hash looks great but it looks to be lacking essential oils (and I know ur buds packed with em) did u process indoors?

Re: Blue Planet Nutrients-Soil-Hydro-2400w Led-2000w Hps-8 Strains-1 GPW+

I guess it is fresh eh? Hard to tell until its zested how oily it will be. My guess. 90 will bubble like mad but not quite fully melt. 75 will be full melt. The 120 will be heady as hell and taste old school will probably flame like.Moroccan. the 160 I would throw in some Brownies myself. And if u did the 25 bag it will be sticky, flame like a.candle and when it expands you'll swear somebody parked a Buick on your chest. Lol.

Lmk how close I am. I hope its all nut smashing mindnumbing, face crushing full melt! No matter what its gonna be fire and thee thought of the.smell when u crack that jar after a 7 day cure makes me lightheaded

Re: Blue Planet Nutrients-Soil-Hydro-2400w Led-2000w Hps-8 Strains-1 GPW+

ok so it looks like all the girls in the system will make a full recovery:party:. I think the older leaves arent going to get better but the new growth is nice and green and untwisted.Im blaming most of this on the doktor doom fogger. I can actually tell you which plants were closest to it when I set it off, the chernobyl was right in front of it and its by far the worst. To anybody wanting to use these things with plants in the room, I wouldn't suggest it! My res didnt show up at the hydro shop yesterday so im still running with 15 gallons right now.I think as soon as the res shows up im going to flip, they are as tall as the cages now and the roots have reached the bottom of the buckets:yahoo:.Honestly I dont think using bpn's micro will hurt them I just wont use cal/mag:)

I wonder if the trimmer removes some of the oils?I dont run the 20 bag it takes way to long to drain the lowest I go is 45 micron.:)

Re: Blue Planet Nutrients-Soil-Hydro-2400w Led-2000w Hps-8 Strains-1 GPW+

Patience is a virtue with hash brother :)
I asked if it was made indoors as the warmer climate tends to translate to a less oily product. But -20 could kiss my ass Haha.

I could see the trimmer disrupting a few glands as the bladed beat on the leaves but I couldn't see it stripping it to any large extent, I was failing to consider it was fresh too. Unless I use buds I never know if it will be FULL melt until at least 24hrs later.. I'd be willing to bet money on the 75 bag melting like an ice cube in mexico
