Soil - Hydro - 2400w Led - 2000w HPS - 8 Strains - 1 GPW+

Re: Blue Planet Nutrients-Soil-Hydro-2400w Led-2000w Hps-8 Strains-1 GPW+

hope he hooks you up:) but I would make some tobacco pepper spray just in case
mite marks are like the first time you learn to sex a plant once you see it for the first time you know. but I know its different seeing a picture and being there in person
I pm'ed Corey, see what he says...

I dont mean to get your gander up my friend and for sure you the better grower:)
the reason I asked before about your starting soil is that I have gotten dry old soil with all kinds of critters in it that may have escaped your tet offensive:) oh and them little shits are that LITTLE

lol..thanks Fishy, I always use fresh promix and they didnt start showing any of these symptoms until after the transplant which is when i started the BPN, maybe im doing something wrong but I dont know what it is, im following the chart on Coreys site at 80% strength, the only thing I added to the line up was cal/mag.

Re: Blue Planet Nutrients-Soil-Hydro-2400w Led-2000w Hps-8 Strains-1 GPW+

It is a micronutrient deficiency. Your pH is too high. That is my best guess from the pics. is this in soil or hydro? I don't have time to scroll through the entire journal getting all the details. an email is better than a PM... blueplanetnutrients@gmail.com

Your pH meter could be off. Those electrodes go BAD ALL THE TIME :( or mis calibration due to a bad calibration solution. if in soil, the ph of the soil could be way off. email me with more details including medium, and info about how you transplanted.

it is happening on even the new growth which suggests an immobile element but also on the old growth which suggests a mobile element.

It could be swings in the pH causing issues.

I see zinc deficiency as well as possibly calcium and maybe iron.... Lets get this sorted out. waiting on an email brother :)

can ph 4-7 solution go bad?
calibrating solution is only good for about 60 days after opened , thats what my blue lab buffers say.
i had a bottle of 4.0 that started growing shit in the bottom after four months.

Re: Blue Planet Nutrients-Soil-Hydro-2400w Led-2000w Hps-8 Strains-1 GPW+

I cant see it being my meter bro, the plants were perfectly healthy 3 days ago and the meter is reading my water the same as it always does, around 7.4. I know hardwater can wreak havoc with micro nutes im thinking this might be the problem.
for sure your right, i was just reading that magnesium uptake is influenced by Zn and Mn levels , at higher levels of these it will reduce the plants absorption of mag.
were you using GH's hardwater micro before?

Re: Blue Planet Nutrients-Soil-Hydro-2400w Led-2000w Hps-8 Strains-1 GPW+

yep, it totally sliped my mind to mention that to Corey. Im flushing the res right now. I ll add GH base at 50% and see what they look like in the morning. Worse case senario is I swap out bpn micro for gh hardwater micro.im pretty sure good base nutes are all pretty much the same but I ll wait for Corey to confirm that.

Re: Blue Planet Nutrients-Soil-Hydro-2400w Led-2000w Hps-8 Strains-1 GPW+

I found a new set of calibrating liquids and the meter read them bang on so im thinking maybe its my hard well water

I think you figured it out!

If you have hard water, you can have Mg and Ca problems depending on which your water is high in. My water is real hard and it locked out Mg. Have you tried adding a little Epsom Salts? You're just adding more Ca in that calmag.

Are those holes in that lower leaf? Are we looking through to the floor, or is that some weird digital image artifact?
Is this plant nearest your fans? I saw a few leaves on my plants do this, and it seemed like it was the leaves getting the brunt of the fan's wind. I thought it might be the plants way of adapting. Makes it less affected by wind, right? I'm sure I'm wrong, but that was the explanation I gave myself and just moved the plant.

Re: Blue Planet Nutrients-Soil-Hydro-2400w Led-2000w Hps-8 Strains-1 GPW+

I had no problems like this last round using that same cal/mag its says 3.25% cal 1.25%mag, if its doesnt get better I think I have some epsom salts around here somewhere.

Same strain?

Only 3, of 9, of my strains were sensitive to the Mg problem. Both specimens of one strain were sensitive, but only a single specimen of the other strains was affected. I did 3 seeds of the strains, so the other 2 plants of those strains were fine with the hard water.

Re: Blue Planet Nutrients-Soil-Hydro-2400w Led-2000w Hps-8 Strains-1 GPW+

theres 4 new strains but the majority of them are the same. theyre not holes bro it does look that way in the pic though, just brown spots. I flushed the res twice with fresh ph'ed water for an hr each time and added the GH base and the cal/mag, if im right I should see a difference in the morning.
