That seems weird; why do LEDs get deficiencies but also need less nutes?
If the hps are all good, but the led is showing deficiencies and they're on the same nutes, then the LEDs are using more of, or not taking up, that particular element/s. If they're using more of that particular element, then the led is potentially way better than the hps? Why's it using more of that nute, and can you supplement/increase? Sorry, just thinking out loud! Soggy....

last round I couldnt get over 1000 ppm without the ph dropping drastically, this round(different nutes) 1250 seems to be the sweet spot where everything is doing what its supposed to. 50 more ppm and the ph starts to drop.I already knew this would happen, I think I mentioned at the beginning of this journal that finding the sweet spot with hps and led was going to be tricky. I added 5 mpg cal/mag yesterday so lets see if that helps, its definetly a calcium defficiency so it should.Maybe it is just a matter of beeing patient and figuring them out.I have the next 8 months to play with them, once the new space is ready I ll decide which way I will go

I never realised basil was such a big market though. I'm feeling very behind the curve and as much as I love 420 I'm now sold on basil, and I'm off to find some good vegetable/basil threads. That's where it's at apparently. Thanks for everything 420..... Baaaassssiiiiiiiilllll!!

thanks guys Ok I think Ive found my a/c solution. This is a dual zone unit with heat and cool, 18 000btu for the flower room and 12 000btu for the veg room.
Klimaire Dual Zone (18000 Btu + 12000 Btu) 16 Seer Mini Split Heat Pump AC
$2 460.00 tax included for the unit
$225 extra for shipping(its not available in Canada)
$ Still waiting on a call back for the duty fees.
If duty isnt absolutely rediculous I think I can do this within my $3000.00 budget or just slightly over.
This unit looks like it has all the bells and whistles, can you take a look at it Ronnie and tell me if anythings missing for my application bro.The low ambient kit is out of the question, they cost significantly more than the unit itself, were talking like 6-7 grand for this unit with the low ambient kit.

Unit looks good , but without low ambient kit you will have to ensure temps in condenser room don't drop too low during off cycle. Might require small electric heater. The unit has auto defrost which is good , but doesn't have the precharged line set. You probably going to have to pay installation. I'll check it more after work. Good weed to all.

ya they dont have the precharged line set, so I might have to buy a second lineset for the 18 000btu unit when I move it to the growshop and I have a friend that can install it.Brokerage fees come to $250 so I can get it for just under 3 grand.I think it can run in up to -10 degrees celsius so I think I ll be able to make it work

ps: with the low ambient kit the unit can cool in -40 degree weather so I wouldnt even need the room but man they aint cheap!

hey jon checked out that unit better and its pretty cool unit, and a good price too. seer rating is high because of the variable speed compressor. i would get at least the 2 year parts warr. when you move the a/c to new lab you can reuse the line set if your careful with it. great find

thanks for checking it out bro, I think its a good buy, the local dealer quoted me almost 4 grand for a single zone 18 000btu(same brand) so I think thats the one im going with. I had to switch back to a passive intake this morning, the flower room was sitting at 92 degrees, within 5 min of switching temps were back down to an acceptable 82 degrees. Its still pouring rain here 65 mil and counting, I have to mop up my basement every 20 min!I cant wait to put in the Blue skin and weeping system! Im going to be one busy mofo this summer!
June- transplant 104 autoflowers outdoors-new roof and gutters- indoor grow.
July-maintaint indoor and outdoor grows
august-harvest indoor and outdoor grows
sept-dig up entire foundation( mostly by hand because I have 2 big decks) and blueskin it- install window wells and weeping system-tie the gutters into the weeping system-dig leeching bed and footings, form the pad and build the 20 x 30 grow shop.
october-get the growshop up and running, spend a shitload of money on upgrades, go out to my buddies property and cut and split 10 cord of maple by hand for the winter and then hybernate.

Thats 3 big things done to this house this year. next year its 2 giant solar panels on trackers making me 100% off the grid and turning this place into an income property and a complete reno of the plumbing wirring and reno of the basement turning this house from a 2 bedroom 1 bath into a 3 bedroom 2 bath.

year after that its a complete reno of the main floor.once all thats done this place will be worth upwards of 450 grand, thats when we sell it and get our dream property on a lake somewhere and build our dream home, all thanks to Cannabis, man I love this plant

and I just got back from the grow shop, they have a 1/2 hp ecoplus chiller that they personally used for only 1 round that I can have for 500 bucks.Its worth over a grand so im jumping on it.Its bigger than I need right now but ya never know
