Smokerjoes 2nd Journal

It would cost more to setup but if the ona doesn't work you can run a carbon scrubber with an inline fan on it open in the room. You don't actually need ducting for it to work just need a bigger one to turn the air over enough times an hour that it doesn't matter that its not ducted. Since my intake and exhausts both dump into the room its not much different then if I just had the scrubber sitting in the room itself.

Plants flowering will depend on how many are females. If they are all female then 14. The room is 6X5 approximately. Humidity is between 50-60%

Dood 14 plants in 6x5 space! Are you doing them SOG style or somthing?

I went with a 400cfm phresh filter 6"x16" and a 6" can fan max combo for just under $260. There are lots of options for fans depending on what is important to you feature wise and your budget. I only went with the one I did because it has a built in speed controller and I use it for exhaust on my tent so I wanted to have a couple speed settings. My humidity is a tad under yours usually between 40-50% so that shouldn't be a problem but 14 or even 7 if only half are fem depending on how big they get and how smelly of a strain they are could be more then this combo can handle, not really sure what its upper limit is. I only have 3 flowering plants in a 5x5 tent. You could always jump up to the 8" size to be sure :thumb:

As far as I know the filters are good for a year and a half to two years depending on use / humidity.

Oh I know peyton I was asking smokey. Yeah Ive been researching ona for about 10 months now I think my gf will like the clean linen smell.

Haha right now they are babies but they are progeny of bagseed so chances are low they will all be females. I train really well so I fit them in nicely with room to spare. Check out my last grow journal it has 9 If I remember right. But yes I made each plant a personal screen for when I use that method. This time around Im leaning heavily towards main lining at least a few. I train my branches as if they were a spiral staircase so they get the most light without using the most space. I also tie fan leaves vertically to the main stem so less of the plant is shaded.

I dont care what features it has just that it isnt as loud as a vacuum cleaner because I think my neighbors bedroom is on the other side of the wall. I use 2 or 3 fans right now but wont need to use that many with good fans and when I make the switch to all led. I plan on having 4 or 5 panels plus the ufo red spectrum light.

Orange is my favorite color so I figured to make my first journal link on this site orange. I deleted my accounts on a few other sites to make more time to be here and offer help. So did you check out that genetics site I linked to you?

I run it on the lowest setting and it has no problem keeping up with the smell and also keeps the sound down a lot. I think it would be a good size for you and you can always turn it up a notch or two if things get stinky. The filter helps keep the fan noise down some and you can put the fan in a box with towels or something if it gets to noisy. My humidifier is easily twice as loud and my exhaust fans I dont think you will have a problem with them being to loud. Plus I think I would rather have my neighbor hear a weird low volume constant hum then smell my plants :p

I did, its crazy how many different strains ended up in those things, no wonder I get so ripped when I smoke it :D

Hepa filter and a ionizer/hepa filter combo unit rated for a very small room located outside of the grow room.

But after I bought the unit when I went back to walmart for a new filter of course they didnt sell the unit any longer and the filters werent there. I think that happens to me in every situation that could occur in it does. With mice, keyboards, computers, lawn mower parts. sigh.

As far as your post on the pills - glad for ya not being able to tolerate them. I've lost far too many to addiction related overdoses or accidents - they started dropping when I was in high school and the most recent was less than a year ago so it never seems to end. By the time I left college I had already lost close to 15 classmates, acquaintances and friends between those I went to high school and college with.

Im glad I stayed away from them. A lot of people from my graduating class have died from abusing them or just taking them as perscribed

I know me too and they do that shit on purpose. I have got to the point that when I buy something that requires replacement items like a filter I try and buy some replacements at the same time.

I just looked through your old journal quick and I think something around the filter size I have would do just fine for you if you end up going with carbon. You can also build a carbon scrubber easily enough if your a DIY kinda guy :thumb:

How did the smoke end up from your last grow I didn't see a smoke report at the end?

Creative, energetic but not overpowering.I budwash so it wasnt harsh at all. In fact it was so mellow that I thought my bowl was clogged a few times until I exhaled a cloud of smoke. Very good and the pain in my knees and my back went away most of the times when I smoked.

Im not to diy but if something was explained well enough I could do it. My expertise is computers and politics so that doesnt serve me to well in the cannabis field.
