A good friend had a old friend pass recently. In her belongings we found an old stash baggie with two vials, containing seeds from their 70's smoking days. He recalled it was from 2 lids of Mexican Brick Weed they scored while on the way to a concert(Santana). It was so potent they did not mind picking out the seeds. They kept the seeds with future plans to grow that never came to fruition. He gave the seeds to me today, aware that they might not germinate. He has seen my Magic Garden and believes if anyone can get them too, it is me and the garden I work. " I have two phenotypes" he said "a very stoney Indica and a very cerebral Sativa. They are both yours". I opened the vials that had been sealed since the 70's #1 pop, sniff, and was knocked out by the peppery smell I knew in the 80's as Acapulco Gold . #2 pop, sniff smelled like a Skunk had died in there. I have placed 20 seeds of each in tubes with water. Will they sprout? We shall see.

Awesome! I've seen seeds from the 70s germinate. So you have some pleasurable 70s Mexican smoke on the way! I'm excited to see what will come out of this. Oh the possibilities....+Reps! (wanted to spread some, and this is the perfect place to do it.)

......That's me daydreaming about the stanky sticky old school buds, and crosses that will be achieved with these tiny little gems you've acquired.

Picked up 3 AC/DC clones today. Motherhood & breeding bound. Very high in CBD, 20% in undried fresh flowers and leaves. This plant is not for smoking, oh no. It's for eating. Heating up CBD degrades it and makes it about 1% effective, compared to eating it fresh 100% to 400% effective.
Looking forward to many pain free days.

What I mean is extract from the flowers, the leaves will go right in a fresh salad, or juiced fresh with some celery or fruit. The extract will be for tinctures, balms, capsules. This is the future of Medicinal Cannabis. Fresh leaves at the dispensary, like greens at the market. But way better. Plus the CBD extract products, which have started to hit the dispensaries.
Eat your CBDs , Vape your THCs, then make oil or butter and eat that too.

WOOHOO!! Gifted seeds are the best! Always surprising, and wonderful to find out what's there, and watch them grow, and try to identify them. Good luck, brother.

Hey Buck, my camera is broken. Saving slowly for a new one. All my monies for this are going into growing. The camera is low on my priority list as it does not help my ladies make big buds. I do want one though. I hope to have one by May or June, in time for cuttings and outdoor planting.

Strained the Rum/cannabis through my blue water hash bag. The liquid is now in my crock-pot on low. The evap will take hella days.
I am congested when indoors and not when outdoors in the sun. I am going back outside.
P.S. The clone are looking good.

Picked up 2 clones of Mk Ultra from my local collective. Re arranged my grow closet. details are in Beginning to understand her post #526 ah hell i'll just copy and paste the important stuff.

"I am beginning to think I am clone crazy! Yesterday I picked up two MK Ultra clones from my local collective. I then came home and put the all clones in sun for 3 hours while I cleared out the grow closet, and disassembled the grow table. I then modified solo cups that I with a soldering gun to resemble net pots. To hold the cups, I used material included in the cloner as shipping wrap. Its made of neoprene and limp. I had to support it with bamboo sticks attached to the neoprene with paperclips(poked though neoprene and twisted around bamboo), the supports are on the underside. There were holes already cut in the material, solo cups fit snug , (perfect). Disassembled the table in the grow room, stripped the reflective blanket off of the wall(its painted blue), cleaned my grow room(closet) with SNS Fungicide. The redwood closet and SNS smell fantastic together. Cleaned my cloner tank assembly, put the cloner in the closet, aero tank filled with water (5 gallons), added very little (literally a tiny splash) of the SNS veg state formula. Left my lights were they are, now 44" above the cloner top. placed my fan better, now attached to the wall and will not come off in a quake, blowing just above the tops of the leaves. Placed Rock-wool in 8 prepared cups and placed 8 clones in them (1 in each) marked the cups for easy id, and put in the modified aero cloner . 8 empty unmodified cups fill the empty holes in the neoprene.
The MK Ultra clones are not in cups yet, that will happen today.
12 Clones bound for mother hood: not in cloner MK Ultra(2) Super Lemon Haze(1), Cookies(1), in cloner Ogre(1), Lavender Kush(1), Omrita Rx3(1), AC/DC (2), Sour Diesel (1), Sharks Breath(1), The White(1) . The Super Lemon Haze and Cookies clones are in soil." end quote.

I treated the MK Ultra clones in the same fashion this morning, all clones are happy.
Now I can concentrate on the seedlings outside which i put into shock with a neem overdose, oops. They have already recovered, just need to trim the dead leaves off and inspect each one. Giving them the first feeding of BPN 2 Part tomorrow.
Then onto building the Mothership. I need to clear the area, clean , seal, paint walls and floor, build a spill/splash basin out of 2x12s and a plastic tarp. Modify Metal cage(road scored solid steel closet rack). Build light box, install lights (1 4' 2 bulb t5 ho unsure of wattage, 2 Advanced Led All Blue high power spots for balance) Build fan box and ventilation , install fan(modified house fan) . plus hella more work involving DWC action. First a bowl of Maui Wowie from my local.

Hey all, its a sunny day in Oakland, slight breeze, perfect. Checked my clones, looking good, room temp steady at 70 deg f. Sprouts are happy, i will feed them tonight.

I have a request of those who peruse grow journals , news stories, and threads on . Please rate them, give them as many stars as you believe represents the impact on you. Whatever that impact may be, jokes, knowledge, awesome feats, great examples, etc. I bring it up because its one thing I have noticed missing from my regular journal reading/Likes and Reps rounds. I had forgotten to rate the journals that made me go whoa. So I'll be rating, but only after I've read for a while. (my eyes are burning)Speaking of which, I have hella journal subs, so If i don't do much more than like please don't be offended. I have a lot on my plate, which is how i like it now a days.

Update. Fed sprouts 3.0 ml part a and b BPN two part. Treated them with sns 209. Added 1.5 ml part a and b to my aerocloner , treated clones with sns 209, set timer to 20 /4 . All plants are happy. Transplanted the surviving volunteer sprout to a 2 gallon container after knocking it over and out of the 4 " square pot. Its roots were a very healthy white, and were beginning to fill the pot.
Broccoli Rab is in full bloom, its yellow flowers have brought the bees! I love watching bees do their thing.
Picked up a bakers rack for cheap 20 bucks, it has a little rust , nothing a little naval jelly and elbow grease cant get rid of ,followed by a little painting, lighting ,and boom, my clone rack will be doneski.

Update: Action!! Built my pole bean fence and planted Scarlet Runners, these make an excellent screen, beans and Hummingbird attractor(which will eat hella whiteflies). Outdoor sprouts looking good. Indoor clones are doing Very good. Rain is expected tonight and tomorrow, it actually looks like it might rain.
