Oops! I missed the SLH grow, sorry! I really like SLH. The flavor and high are both amazing, IMO. The GSC will be fun to follow!

Fed the clones and seedlings mixed into 1 gallon of water Blue Planet Nutrients Farmers Pride Organic 2.5 ml Grow,Micro, and Bloom. 1 ml of BPN Bio Juice. I noticed something about the plants. #1 when I had the 30 incandescent on along with the 2 blue 15 watt high power spot AdvancedLEDlights, the seedlings stretched quite a bit. I had it on for warmth, turned it off when i decided the grow room was warm enough for them to grow, but cool enough to load the genetic dice on the fem side. I noticed the stretching has stopped with it off, its been a few days with it off. #2 When I turn off the LEDs the leaves quickly droop , almost like a sigh. It takes about 5 minutes with the LEDs on for them to perk back up. No let me rephrase that, they REACH up on their tippy toes for this light. Its like the LED is anti gravity that only affects the plants...hmm I have been doing experiments with teroir, hmm will it also imbue along with the flavor of the land a lifting effect upon the imbiber? This i gotta see.

Hey all, a little update. Seedling cups , check. Soil....Soil?, SOIL!! Its in a pile ready to be sifted, erh. Fun task, yup its like being a junior archeologist. Shovel, dirt, sifting tray,the only difference is I am interested in the soil. The artifacts to date are interesting, marbles, 70's era dog tags from a navy guy, assorted keys, bits of glass, pottery, chicken wire, nails screws, old gardening tools abandoned in place when they broke, plates,cups ,saucers, cutlery, assorted tableware, mugs, candles, lids to paint cans, plastic plant labels , bricks, logs, bones, deer skulls, a steer skull, and a babies arm holding an apple. Whataya want from life?
Oh one last thing, checked my seedlings , clones and seeds. All are doing fine. Today I changed the water in the seed tubes, after 3 days the water needs to be changed or it becomes stagnant and the seeds die. It also gives me a chance to check the progress. Good thing the cups arrived today by way of a friend, cause the seeds are very viable. Tomorrow dirt sifting and seed sowing, the hard part will be selecting 10 seeds from each tube for the cups. Extras will go 4 to a pot in 1 gallon pots. plant separation at a later time will not be a problem, just a delicate operation which I have done hundreds of times on many types of plants. God do i love to garden.

Sifting soil for my seedlings, need enough for 90 ,16 oz cups. I have double sifted half of a 5 gallon bucket, that soil is now uniform in size, and crap removed. time for a break and a smoke

Hey Mrgivemethat, right on for reading my journal, there are so many excellent journals here, I am honored and humbled by your admission on catching up. ON the GSC I am excited too. "now much dor those leds?" I'm a little confused by the last question, could you clarify your question?
Update ,10 sprouting Sour Diesel seeds are in cups and outside. I put a little root hormone in the seed holes to give them a little edge this year. After filling 10 cups with the sifted soil, I am wondering why the hell I did not do this earlier? 10, 16 oz cups filled to 1/4 of an inch of the top of cups,took half of the 5 gallon bucket of sifted soil. Wow time for some math, word. If only i could remember the formula to figure out how many 5 gallon buckets I have to sift to fill all cups this way..

Pomrita is up to bat, cups are out of surgery, holes drilled , strain and numbered 1 through 10. This is how I am doing my cups this year. Last year was all coded, it took me a while to figure out which cup was what at first. Code checking when high is difficult for me. On deck Diesel Scream.
SLH is a great choice; I've been cloning one for over a year now and won't be stopping anytime soon.

I am beat all 90 cups drilled filled and seeded. I lost track of how many times I sifted soil, my back is sore , good thing I have some Peruvian shake, time for a joint or twelve.

Strains currently sprouting or growing. Girl Scout Cookies from clone soon to be a mom. Super Lemon Haze clone, motherhood bound. From seed, , Purple Peruvian , Purple Fairy, Pomrita, Neongerine, Durban Sands # 1, and Durban #2 (DPSD), Diesel Scream, Dented Diesel, ,Strawberry Couch Loch, Sour Diesel, and Nigerian Beaches. 13 strains , dang that's a lot of work. Time to roll that joint.
Sounds like 10 x last years garden!!! Wow!

One of my goals this year is to take clones from the 13 strains I am growing. 13 Mothers , sounds like a band name. Cloneville will actually be living up to its name, that is if all works out as planned. I have not decided on a growing medium for the moms , any advise in that department is welcome, I want something inexpensive, and easy to deal with. Aero-cloning for the SLH and GSC BPN Clone Army that will go outside. 13 moms means more lights needed. More research to do. hope all is well with my family.

Not so seed wise, last year I popped 150 seeds. I ended up giving away quite a few ladies, my homies were stoked. This year there will be more clones than seed grown plants in my garden. 27 Seed grown ladies in pots 3 of each strain, 5 plants in ground ,96 or 128 clones of SLH and GSC respectively, in 2 wire caged 12" raised beds, mosquito netting over a wood frame, with blackout tarps that will ride on PVC tubing over , not touching the net or frame. well maybe it is.....

Tied down the SLH and GSC clone today. Tomorrow is a shopping day. Who knows what I will come home with. Of course some primo Dispensary nugs , extract and edibles. Oh and some high proof vodka for extract, yep its that time. I don't often make extract, but when i do its da bomb. Leaves, nugs ,seeds, stems, branches, no roots. I let it sit 4 days before straining. shaking the bucket ,every 2 hours in the day time during the 4 days. After that I strain 3 times, then double boil in small batches , stirring all the while till the water evaporates, then i turn down the heat and stir till its a thick, shiny, chocolate looking mess. scoop into assorted containers, refrigerate ,then brake off a piece when i need it.
