Just got done cutting the redwood for base of the Mothership. Room #1 This will be for the expectant mothers. It will be 70" (5.8') long, 2 ' wide and 5 'high and be lit by a 200 watt (total) 4 ' 4 bulb t5 ho fixture. On top of that will go Room #2, the maternity ward for cuttings on their way to being clones. Mat ward will have the same length and width, with a height of 2.5 ' and will be lit by a two bulb 60 watt t8. As I am typing this my pump cycled on . All the clones in the holding tank are looking good. Added a Blueberry clone to the mix.
I was holding off on building the room due to lack of supplies (bulbs all were broken) until a good friend/patient offered to purchase the bulbs. Mothership 1 will be finished soon. I will be installing the disco ball( a requirement for going plaid), my ladies love to dance.

Framing for Mothership is done, light installed. Next step is painting and sealing the floor of the ship. She will be sea worthy when I am done. Also, have picked up two disciples somehow. In return for labor I am teaching them what I know about gardening with cannabis. In addition they will share some of the harvest, tomatoes, etc. . I am calling them Burger and Song . Not their names but what they are in a word. All good teachers should have a nick name for their disciples. A good nickname can inspire the named to become, or shed the name. Growth is what's important. Burger and Song have also volunteered to invest in equipment for my grow as part of their gratitude we will be going to Home depot today for the t5 ho bulbs. Upgrade city in the following months (grow tent, lights etc). They will be regular helpers, good timing too. just when I am ready to take it to a "whole ,'nother ,level", what i need comes. 5 confirmed ladies outdoors, 7 confirmed males. 2 males selected for breeding .5 fed to my housemates, they eat the leaves. 1 is done and I am waiting for the seeds to develop and is, female side, Sour D . x Peruvian #2 (Rojo) x male side Sour D x Peruvian #2 (Rojo). 2nd and now in the isolation chamber,Pomrita x Pomrita . Pomrita is a cross of Omrita Rx3(fem side) and a very purple and red , Sour D male.

Hamburger came by and picked me up. Then we went to Homedespot and bought the lights . They only had six , I bought four. The lights all lit up and the ballast is quiet. Its pretty bright for 216 watts. After watching my clones grow in the isolation chamber I have decided to change the mother line up. Super Lemon Haze is still in as is AC/DC. I have decided to swap The Cookies for Ogre , The Cookies is a very slow grower in comparison, and I already have a 2 Durban based strains that I am working on, adding one more did not make sense. I have also decided to swap MK Ultra for Blueberry. It was a hard choice, one that required much sampling of the best. After the multitudes of bowls, joints , hash nugs , and edibles ,Blueberry beat MK, in taste and high.
SLH, Blueberry,Ogre, and AC/DC will be my main mother plants. The rest will stay in the isolation chamber under their current conditions,until I decide to plant them outdoors.

Did some gardening today. Planted 3 Dented Romulan, 1 Durban Sands, and a Sun-gold Tomato. Put down weed barrier and mulch. Delivered 5 ladies to a good friend with more medical problems than the bible has Psalms. She smoked some of last years harvest with me (my seed-stock) It was grown to peak ripeness, all amber, perfectly cured , Piney with a strawberry finish(she has a patch of strawberries around her little plot)and hella stoney,1/2 a joint and we were done. I can't wait to see, and smoke what she does with these ladies.

The grow books seem to contradict what people are doing in real life. According to them, amber (if you're talking about trichomes and not hairs) means you waited too long, and the clear THC that turned into cloudy CBD has now turned into CU (as in "see you later"). What I've been doing is trying to get a view of the sides of the trichomes and when I see one or two cloudy trichomes in a grouping I chop. It usually runs at about 50% brown hairs at chop time.

Clones, water temp seems to be an issue. However, I have not had any , possibly due to the water temp being cooler than air temp. The Ogre is the monster .
