These babies are really starting to take off now! I'll leave them another day or so yet to water again, but this is looking promising!!

Chubby looking lovely today!! Decided to finally give her the chop, so we got her all washed and trimmed and into the dehydrator to dry over the next couple days!

Here we are, my friends! It's been a while, and plenty of exciting changes have happened!!

I've inadvertently taken a little break from updates as I get my set-up properly re-established and work through a sudden spike in jobs at work, but we are still happily plugging along on those first three sativa beauties!

Definitely had a little bit of Ca/Mg looking deficiency through early veg, due partly i think to the soil needing just a hair longer to cook, and partly because they needed to be up-potted a little sooner, but I've got them in their final big containers (30L for super lemon haze and strawberry cough, 24L for Chocolope) And they are looking GREAT! Definitely ready for a water, so I will be trying to get into that tomorrow

Just flipped the lights to 12/12 in the flower TENT! (finally invested in a decent tent; SCROG here I come!!!) So we will see how these beauties go! Still fairly small for how old they are, but we have the room and capability to set up a much more perpetual run now with dedicated flower and veg spots :). At least this will get us into something decent in the coming months, with more on the way!

Without further ado, here are the latest pics, and we will try to keep this up to date from here!!

Everybody is looking beautiful! Watered everybody with plain water, and did some tying down. Also super-cropped some of the taller side shoots of the big ladies, to try and keep a more even canopy. Doesn't take them long to fight their way back up to the light!

The little ladies got watered, and I did some tying down to start the LST

20200914_183009.jpg

I also stuck the cut shoots in soil after cleaning up some of the lower down stuff off the flowering girls. If they root, bonus! If not, they were getting chopped anyway! But I snuck a couple extra seeds down at the same time, just in case none of them do end up taking root ;D
20200914_182959.jpg

On a side note, egg shell ferment is plugging right along! Sure is a potent smell, though!! xD

Temp: 15-26 degrees Celsius
RH: 60-70%

Little clones are actually looking OK... haha not wilted yet, so maybe that's a good sign! If tent RH is an indicator of the rest of the room, then maybe the high humidity is helping. Would be cool if these were my first successful clones! But I'm not holding my breath haha
20200915_183417.jpg

The little ladies are looking awesome!! I might even consider up-potting them soon... I'm pretty sure I've been waiting too long to up-pot the last couple times and slowing myself down, so I'll try not to this time! We'll probably get some more training in soon to keep these tops held down!

Flower ladies are looking fantastic! Can't wait too see how these ladies progress!!! Just a waiting game for the next two months :'(

Little shoots still aren't wilted or looking terrible! I may end up with more little plants than I know what to do with, if I'm not careful... hahaha but that's a good problem to have! No action on the seeds yet, but it's still early. I've been dripping some water into the cups every day to keep them moist, as this soil definitely gets a bit hard if left to dry out too much
20200916_180712.jpg

Gave the little ladies another tie down, as they were already reaching right up to that light! Going to try and get these little ladies all bushed out in preparation for a serious scrog when I move them to the tent. This tent is going to revolutionise things! :yahoo:
20200916_180739.jpg
20200916_180745.jpg

Big ladies looking great! I gave the Chocolope a good soaking, as her pot was pretty light (shes in a much smaller pot than the other two, so she'll end up needing water a lot more frequently. I want to keep her nice and happy!)

RH: 52-72%

Not much changing or happening today! The clones look pretty much the same. Not sure how long to expect them to take getting established, as they were technically taken off a flowering plant (and i think flowering clones take longer than veg clones?) But no dramatic wilting or dying yet!
20200917_182709.jpg

Little ladies are fighting against the tie-downs every day and looking great! Good colours and vigour. Might have to look into getting another light soon because even these three will be bigger than my light footprint once i get them in the bigger pots... great planning, slammy... haha :cheesygrinsmiley:

20200917_182717.jpg

And of course, the flowering girls looking great! Pots still have some weight to them, so no water yet. I might get a tea brewing tomorrow in preparation for a decent soak on Saturday. First tea in a while! So I'm looking forward to giving them that, plus I'll probably start in on the bio boost. They're starting to look like little flowers!!

One of the new little babies has broken ground!! Which is good cuz I don't have much faith in the clones... haha i pulled one out already because she flopped over and the stem went completely flat and limp. That's been pretty much my experience with trying to clone... so again, not holding my breath xD. Haha
20200918_190858.jpg

These little ladies are looking so good! I will probably get them up into big old fabric pots tomorrow! (And then pray that they don't get too big under this light before i can get them into the tent... haha!)
20200918_190847.jpg
20200918_190852.jpg

Flower ladies still looking beautiful! Getting a little bit light in the interveinal sections of the leaves, so i do want to get a tea brewing stat just to give them a nice microbe load, and maybe get a little bit more of my CalMag into them. They will probably all three need done water this weekend! I love seeing the growth explosion after a watering :thumb:

Today's veg update:

Up-potted the little ladies! The pots are a little big for now, but i want them in enough soil to be able to support feeding them, and i think they'll like it! Sprinkled some mycorrhizal inoculant in the holes and on the roots before planting them. Soil was so good looking and beautiful smelling after a little extra cook time! :thumb:

Today's flower update:
Temp: 18-26 degrees Celsius
RH: 62-85%

Humidity spiked a little because of a nice drenching they got today. I got roughly 8 litres of water spread across the three of these ladies, with a touch of seaweed extract and bio boost and the last driblets of my egg shell ferment. Good thing I've got another big batch on the way!! Its almost a week old and starting to separate into nice layers. Thanks @Emilya for the easy diy recipe! I love being able to just make something this effective at home!

I also gave them a bit of a defoliation just to uncover some of the bud sites and allow a little more airflow through the canopy. We're just under two weeks into 12/12, so i don't know if I'll get away with any more stripping after now. But we'll see how they look over the next week!

Temp: 16-27 degrees Celsius
RH: 79-88%

Flower girls looking good! (I caught them after they'd gone to sleep, so they're a little droopier than they are in the daytime haha). It's a little humid in there right now... might end up having to run the dehumidifier, but I'm holding out in case of drier days! It's usually not too bad here

Just business as usual for these ladies!

Today's veg update:

We had a little surprise sprout pop up today! First I've seen of seedling #3, so we'll see if she makes it out the gate! The other two seedlings are looking great!!

20200921_213439.jpg

Some of the clones are still yellowing, so i hope that means they're forcing some roots out! Would be fun if some of these caught hold!
20200921_213443.jpg

The three medium girls seem to be enjoying the pots! They fought right back against the training, so i can tell I'm going to have my work cut out with these young ladies!

Nothing much to report on the clones. Still standing up straight though, so that's a good sign!
20200922_192732.jpg

The three little babies are looking good! Probably will be ready to go into a slightly bigger container soon! Then slowly up-pot till they're ready to take the containers from the current flower girls :thumb:
20200922_192715.jpg

And these three big beautiful ladies are bushing out very nicely after a little training! The current flowers grew largely untrained until the very end of veg, so I'm going to focus on really putting in the effort earlier in veg this time to get a shape that will better support my scrog plans. I reckon 1 or two of these ladies could fill that 4x4 if given the opportunity and proper guidance!

Today's flower update:

Still a little humid in the tent, so I've pulled out the dehumidifier to run overnight in the room, so hopefully that will make the difference I'm looking for! Other than that, still looking great!

20200923_194556.jpg

I did already rip another clone out cuz it was looking a little fuzzy around the base... nothing too sinister upon inspection, but also no signs of roots forming. Maybe I kept the medium a little wet. Oh well!

These veg ladies are looking SO good!

20200923_195252.jpg

Look at how sideways they are out to the edge of the pot! Perfect!
20200923_195302.jpg

Bonus pic of the layers forming in my eggshell ferment! That's a good sign!! Still will give it another few weeks, but this should last me another while!

Today's flower update:
Temp: 15-25 degrees
RH: 53-82%

The dehumidifier worked it's magic! I might have to run it for a little while in the evenings, but it sucked the room down to 53-65 for most of the day, so I'm confident I'll be able to use it in bursts to keep humidity where I want it!

Still got some weight to the pots, but i might look at watering at least the Chocolope tomorrow for sure because her pot is smaller and I'll be keeping the air drier now. But all in all, looking great!

Got the viparspectra cranked as it's the only real heat source overnight now. But everybody seems to be enjoying it! I took a pic and then remembered how bad they are under this light (without turning the red and blue spectrums down haha)
20200924_192548.jpg

But the three little babies are looking good!
20200924_192620.jpg

Not much happening with the clones still. I will be patient...
20200924_192627.jpg

These three ladies are looking so good! :'D there's a little bit of lightness starting in the interveinal areas of some growth, but I'm going to give them a tea and some extra microbe boost next watering that my hydro shop gave me as a free sample! So hopefully they will appreciate that. But I am pretty satisfied with how they are handling the training so far! :thumb:

Temp: (will be updated)
RH: (will be updated)

Ladies looking great! Probably could've watered today, but i didn't get around to it. We'll make it happen tomorrow!

They're definitely starting to fill out a little more! I'm going to aim to keep humidity down around the 50-55% range for the next two weeks or so, then drop slowly to 35-40% or so for the end of flower. Looking pretty good so far!
