Yesterday's flower update:
Temp: 18-32 degrees
RH: 41-53%
Still creeping up a little hot in the plant room, so I've put the dehumidifier on a timer now, so it should just run all night and not during the day. If temps are too high before we're even in to summer and stuff, I may have to look at reversing my light schedule (after this run is finished) and flowering the ladies overnight instead of during the day
I might also consider getting another timer and dropping the veg plants down to 18/6 so the viparspectra is off in the middle of the day when it's hottest. We'll play it by ear, we've still got plenty of passive options to reduce heat!
But we are still looking beautiful! I got probably about 2L of water in each of these, with some antimatter (high powered organics), bio boost, a little seaweed extract, and just a touch of bloom nutes.
I unfortunately did notice a line of ants trundling up and all over some of the Chocolope, so i pulled out the loupe and had a really good look for any explosion of aphids. I didn't see anything, but it's very suspicious to me that suddenly there are this many ants interested in being here... and only on the Chocolope! I'll have to keep my eyes peeled hard, because I do NOT want to have a sudden aphid infestation take over now!! We're far enough into flower that my options to combat them are somewhat limited, but also far enough from harvest that aphids could really proliferate if left unchecked.
