As I mentioned I started with T5 fluorescents, then bought a 315 watt ceramic metal halide, next I went to a 600 watt hps and finally got 2 Mars sp-250’s. Wish I had went straight for the white light LED’s... but I do use the other lights too in my veg & seedling areas

No don’t change to back up 18/6... they will reveg and start over but take twice as long. Yes ma’am - stay on 12/12. How long have they been on 12/12?

do you know if they are autos or photos? Or was it seeds you found & saved? Too lazy to re-read 6 pages! I know you’ve got silverback & sunshine but idk what a fraction of these are since there are 20,000 strains out there

if you buy autoflower seeds they are best to run 18/6 but you can’t do that with photoperiod. On a photoperiod if you increase lights it will cause a reveg, a reveg makes her switch up and grow single bladed fan leaves. Then 2-3 weeks later it will grow 3 bladed fans leaves and after more time it will grow 5 bladed fan leaves and then it starts back growing again. the reveg makes it into what’s called a montster crop plant because it will be very bushy but yeah best to avoid it since it takes forever

I agree with 013, she looks like she's just started flowering, she's about the right size for your pot so I would let her flower now.

Get those lights down close to her tops (put your hand between plant and light, if it's hot you're too close).

You know what?! Shit. I can’t even remember if I STARTED with 18/6 and changed to 12/12 but I don’t think I did. Imma go look at some earlier posts but I THINK she’s always been on 12/12!!!! I pray NOT

I’m not sure she looks like she’s flowering to me. Maybe I’m trippin but like I just told @013 i can’t even freakin remember if I EVER had her in 18/6 :oops: I’m going to go check some earlier posts in here. I pray I wasn’t THAT stupid.

Yeah....so I don’t think I ever changed the lights :oops: at least I don’t remember doing it. Shit! So what does this mean for my girl? My sunshine seedling is also under the same setting cuz my dumb butt didn’t think I had changed the schedule, when in fact, I never UNchanged it:straightface:NOW what?!
 
Oh crap in last pic see that nodule that is dangling down on the right - that looks like male junk....yup that’s not good!

I‘m guessing maybe bag seeds you found in buds? Consider that when you buy seeds maybe get feminized seeds.... regular seeds are for mostly for those who breed so some are male others are female but I always start with fems then I don’t have to wait or fool around with sexing them, but yes if it’s bag seeds then you are just rolling the dice I suppose.

As far as light goes weed is a C3 plant and really does not need a night or rest period, you can grow 24 X 7 and plants don’t care but obviously to trigger flower we jump to 12/12... of course the rules change for Ruderalis / auto-flower genetics. But many do 18/6 just to give as much daylight as possible. As you prob know - an auto will just initiate flowering on its own without flipping lights but photos require the 12/12 light change to begin flowering.

it’s all good Reci... I know it sucks a ton but life happens unscripted.

Here’s your take away - not sure exactly when little Miss Sunshine sprouted but you mentioned it on Dec 13th so thats at least 3 weeks old today. So yes ma’am..... if it were me I would get her to at least 14 hours of light per day as soon as you read this.

I'm gonna shout for @billpopy to jump in here in case he has different ideas on this one, he’s real sharp in the garden for sure!
 
I like that - firm resolve to move on. Yes ma’am! Anything that equates to significantly greater than 12 hours of lights on.... 16/8, 18/6 or 14/10. Whatever you decide - just plan on staying that way for a month or two as you let her veg - top, train or lst her out, whatever your grow style is.

On seedlings I usually run lights 24/7 then after 2 to 4 weeks I jump to 18/6 and stay that way until the flip

Just make sure you get rid of him before he drops is pollen all over your grow space.

One brightside, with you running 12-12 from seed you got to find out his dirty little secret sooner.

I would try running your lights on 20-4 for your sunshine baby, with your lights not being overly powerful she might benefit from a longer light period.

@013 @Billpopy79 so I was higher than I thought yesterday.y cycle is 18/6, NOT 12/12!! That’s why I couldn’t remember changing it...BECAUSE I HADNT!!! lol wow! So sunshine is right on track! YALL think I should make a new journal for her or stay here?

whatever you like, just figured it was easier to keep it together so there’s no chance of missing something because it’s in a different journal. I watch and make comments in about 40 or 50 journals already plus the frequently asked question & the pest threads,

no we can’t change the name but the moderators can. I just named my journal 013 xyz perpetual since one grow rolls into the next and figured it would be more beneficial to keep all my stuff in one spot, but however you want to catalog your is fine
