Shiggity Goes Mad Scientist: Paving The Yellowbrix Road With DIY Adventures!

Hey Shiggs this is the veg tent I built. I need to add ventilation and get the door done still but this is where it is at right now.

Tried a new thing (out of laziness mostly) you all have seen the 6.5 gallon buckets with gamma lid. I took freshly washed and dried (5 days or so) cannabis and put it in the bucket in turkey bags. Fan leaves and all. Branches chopped in 6-8" segments. Strains separated in turkey bags. Burped until stems were snappy and sealed her up. Two months later I am trimming and the smell of the Bluniverse is filling the air like never before. Soooooooo Louuuuuuuuddddd!!!!!! And a megafauna was right under in a a bag that when I pulled out the Bluniverse it was like lemon pine cleaning fluid was coming up. So gassy it is like pinesol with a haze finish. Best terp preservation ever. Waiting to trim until cured. I'm gonna keep doing it.

I had to smoke it. I am still blasted. I am getting that crazy cricket sound that's not from crickets. The carbon filter fan is crazy sounding. I am vibratory all over and trimming with focus like never before. Here's the Bluniverse. It's so lime green and fuzzy (in a trich way lol).

Shiggity can you explain washed? I assume the dried is on racks as normal. Turkey bag the high heat ones for the oven or just ziplocks? Those look amazing. Have you seen the thread on another site about the Malawi Cob? I think what you are doing may be along those same lines. If you read that thread its sick in a good way. I have it bookmarked if needed. I plan to try that also.

I remember that old thread but these aren't fermented at all like a cob. Yes the actual oven turkey bags. They help hold in the smell. I think it's just that no leaves are even cut until the cure is done. And the fans act initially like a protectant and extra water resevoir to dry out slowly. Then the fact that the buckets were only opened a few times and then left for 2 months.

And I may try the cob thing with a loose sativa when I get one next.

Yeti these are some very healthy plants. My Bluniverse is blue magoo based and the bubbegum bakery blueberry terps are absolutely insane. I can't wait to see the just Blue Magoo! And the tent is killer.

Thanks shiggs! I am hoping for a super blue strain from this blue magoo. If it smells anything like your bluniverse I will be happy. The tent came out alright. I have a door panel made up just how you suggested I make it. The rare earth magnets didnt want to stay gorilla glued onto the panda film. I may just add weights to the panda film flap I am using as a door and call it good. Or I will find a better way to secure the magnets. If I modify the door I will show you how that comes out too. Thanks for giving me a little push to do it :high-five:

BTW your bluniverse looks fantastic :thumb:

Line the edge of plastic door with duct tape then stick the magnets on with another layer of duct tape.

That sounds like it could work out well. Thanks I will see if I can make it happen. It is getting a little warm as is. I need to get some 4 inch dryer vent material and a 4 inch inline fan and rig an intake/exhaust for it. I am thinking about an intake in the bottom of the door on one lower corner and the exhaust running from the opposite top corner with the fan just pulling the exhaust from up there :hmmm::hmmm:

Ok y'all are Americans for the most part right? Even our Canadians brothers, what do you think of this crazy division going on in America and the issues with the Confederacy statues and stuff?

I think we can all (most of us :cheesygrinsmiley:) agree that the news media are now clowns. Clown news, complete with flashing lights and fanfares and people shouting and waving their arms for no reason. Clowns. Right?

What puzzles me is ... if the advertisers have now decided that clown news is better than real news (draws a more impressionable audience doncha know) and the networks have shifted to clownery to stay in business ...

Why were journalists and reporters the best place to look for the clowns ... ? You'd think hucksters and salesmen and such would have been a more likely pool of potential clowns.

... And why were all the respectable journalists and reporters so eager to work as clowns? You'd think they went to school and built their careers and contact networks to be serious respected people. But no. They're perfectly willing to work as clowns apparently, as long as they still get paid and get to be on TV every day.

Huh. :hmmmm: Oh, and they still want to be respected. Really???

*loud guffaw*
