Hey Shiggs, previously you have mentioned hypoaspis miles to combat fungus gnats and spider mites. From what I am reading they all say to put them in the soil of a potted plant, do you think it would be fine to add them to second run cooking soil? Seems like it could get expensive quick adding them to plants.

Dam now I think I may have to get more shit, turkey bags and another bucket.

I got some pickle buckets with nice Oring lids can't get the pickle smell out. Any ideas how to remove? Tried baking soda, sunlight, bleach. I could maybe line with trash bag to keep scents seperate, work?

Heya Shiggs how's things in your world are friend? Some great looking Buds you got going on here :-)
We are loving the new lights and looking for more but seems HLG is out of stock of most everything they sell? Sure hope they are doing ok because we want more of there stuff!!

Mrs J and I been busy canning this weekend, pickles and sour kraut were the target this weekend. 23 lbs of kraut in the crock ( I'm not a fan but the boss lady is) bread and butter pickles and garlic dills, more pickles too go but made a dent in it

Blessed Buds our friend and be well :passitleft:

I think we can all (most of us :cheesygrinsmiley:) agree that the news media are now clowns. Clown news, complete with flashing lights and fanfares and people shouting and waving their arms for no reason. Clowns. Right?

What puzzles me is ... if the advertisers have now decided that clown news is better than real news (draws a more impressionable audience doncha know) and the networks have shifted to clownery to stay in business ...

Why were journalists and reporters the best place to look for the clowns ... ? You'd think hucksters and salesmen and such would have been a more likely pool of potential clowns.

... And why were all the respectable journalists and reporters so eager to work as clowns? You'd think they went to school and built their careers and contact networks to be serious respected people. But no. They're perfectly willing to work as clowns apparently, as long as they still get paid and get to be on TV every day.

Huh. :hmmmm: Oh, and they still want to be respected. Really???

*loud guffaw*
This is called "infotainment" and it's been growing like a cancer since Reagan and Clinton. I don't think Bush Sr did anything to contribute to the news media as a whole I could be wrong though.

As a salesman, I resemble that clown remark!

LOL, I've been a salesman for most of my life, too. In a mass market (not specialty sales), potential customers need to be entertained while their minds are trying to function. An assuring smile (and/or some cleavage), a confidant manner, a couple cute magic tricks or shiny objects, some laughter, and they can be pointed in the right direction. Facts n stuff just confuse the good folks.

I sure didn't mean to cast aspersions on a noble profession by comparing them to news journalists, sorry. That applies to any hucksters in the audience, too.

Dynastygenetics just dropped some interesting new strains!

Ghetto Bird
Lineage: (C99 x White Widow) x Blue Heron

Huckleberry Haze
Lineage: Ice Queen x Oregon Huckleberry

Oregon Lemon Diesel x Skunk
Lineage: read name

Super silver blue magoo
Lineage: Blue Magoo x SSH F3

Super silver cough
Lineage: The Cough x SSH F3

I messaged you earlier asking if you saw those :laughtwo: They all sounds pretty decent. One of the sites that has their gear is giving 5 free seeds of honey badger haze if you buy 2 packs of dynasty gear. The huckleberry haze and the super silver blue magoo sound the most interesting to me :)

I missed this. If you don't use miticides they will stay forever in the soil. So yeah you could add them to the second run soil. Or just add to the plants. Grab a handful of soil from a plant with them and toss it into any new batches coming out of 1st cook. They are the gift that keep on giving.

I had them and got a few clones from someone with mites. The hypoaspis didn't fully control them but did give me time to react.

I haven't found any webs at the top of a certain plant I got that I believe had mites, but some of the lower, older growth had webs and I believe my spotting on some of my other plants may be from a small mite problem (no webbing in sight) so I was thinking about getting the hypoaspis miles depending on how they worked. You think the Neem will kill them?

Honestly I don't use neem. But you can last with neem and then wait half a week and release the predators. If you have a definite mite infestation I would get a more vicious mite predator to supplement the Hypoaspis. One that will feed fast and will disappear when the mites do.

The hypoaspis are a good police force. But when you need an army go for N. californicus for 40ish % humidity and P. Persimilis for around 60%. The persimilis are heavier feeders.

Appreciate you coming through on that. I think I am going to give them 4 or 5 more Neem sprays over 2-2.5 weeks to make sure I have nothing and then start with the hypoaspis miles.

Hi I just bought some dynasty spider bite v2 from sannies shop. Only problem they don't take c/c only money transfer and that costs heaps from NZ. Any insider info who ships dynasty to nz. Cheers

I think they are the only overseas bank that stocks them. There is a list of distributors and vendors at the Dynastygenetics web site. Email them all.
I really hope you can get some!
Yeah as Shiggs said I only know of Sannies as far as over sea banks go for them. They do not seem to carry their current lineup either. If you order from sannies again pick up some of his Killing Fields. It is supposed to be amazing and you have a very high likelihood of getting a colorful pheno. I have seen pics of ones that are so purple they are almost black :)
