Schnookie's Semi-Permanent Grow Meditations

I took the seeds in the cups which had sunk to the bottom after less than 24 hours and let them go another day. Today I dropped the 5 seeds which had all split and were starting to send roots out.

The new seeds are still below the soil, but when I checked yesterday, one of the OAG was not, and the whole thing was sitting on top with a little white 2mm tail ready to dig. Could've happened when I gave a little water, but idk. The wait continues.

The Stowaway in the SIP earthbox is thickening. Dunno what strain it is but smells lovely, and is super sticky. I'm always covered with her aroma as I brush against her on the stairs all the time. My dahlias are trying hard to bloom too.

Took off 10 lower branches from the Stowaway since they seemed to be mature with mostly all cloudy plus a good 1/4 maybe amber trichomes. Good enough. Can open up the lower to get air through so I don't get more bud rot. Word about that later.

It's either rot or just old

And finally an update on the fall grow. These two are the only survivors of the 5 and barely at that. I had to transplant out of my home made soil as they were just looking sickly and not progressing. I bought some fresh FF HF and reused the tobacco rooters which are cool first pots for sprouts to grow deep roots.

And only a day later they're happier and growing.

Had a weekend away while the hurricane came through. Time to chop the SIP stowaway. It was probably ready before, but after a foot or more of rain, it's definitely soggy. Couple branches of the 5 gallon plants are pretty droopy but I haven't gone down yet to assess fully. The 10 gallon pair also fell over and some deer ate a ton of tomato plant which is insane.

Well I took a look at the girls outside and began a chop of pgc in the 5 gallon but I think she might be a goner. These are lower branches and a set that had some caterpillars months ago. I might not have got them all and the rot had done her in I think.

Ok, @InTheShed, here's one of the upper branches from Stowaway. There's still another one of these to cut and a couple smaller lower branches still. This plant could get up to 5 or 6oz I think all said and done. This I think is one of the main stems. Pretty good weight, and I trimmed as much as I am going to, most of the rest is covered in trichs. My basement is set at 59-60% RH and 72-74°F so I can keep these mostly indefinitely to dry. What does burping actually accomplish?

Damn my photography skills are lacking, eh? Hard to hold phone with one hand and take pic while holding the branch!
