Schnookie's Semi-Permanent Grow Meditations

Next time I'll take some more refined photos, I promise. :ganjamon:

These two GTH are growing nicely after getting up-potted a couple days ago. The one in the original little tent with the 90w LED seems to be growing more (in the square mini-SIP), but it could be just the angle. She also got planted a little deeper it looks like by a cm or 3. The one ibn the round 1 gal pot is under the 220w light at 80ish% but farther away so lumens are about equal at the leaves.

On this day, one year from my son's death, I'm thankful for my friends and for my three beautiful children that thrive. I'm making a bunch of food and my youngest son is visiting with his girlfriend while my daughter is in Africa with her mother and grandmother, and my oldest son is weathering the snow in South Korea.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

Well these two aren't looking too happy at this time. Could be a combination of overwatering a week ago and the low temps (under 70) we've been having in the tent. This morning the basement was at 59 degrees F when I got to work according to one thermometer. I may have to re-pot to save their roots.

My house hovers around 60Âş overnight these days and doesn't get above 65Âş until we turn the heat on for a few hours between 7 and 11pm, so I've closed all the vents in the tent and don't use an exhaust fan, which allows the driver to keep the tent a balmy 75-78Âş.
The tent has been hovering between 70-73 but the humidity was in the 30s which I assume is too low so I added the humidifier to try and keep it at 50. I've got the driver above the tent so maybe I can move it inside for a little more warmth.

So I did what you said, @InTheShed and moved the light driver into the tent from above it. Temps went up a few degrees and there's a 4°F difference between top and bottom of the plants (75-79° but they are still getting to low 60s at night. I also realized that at some point the Alexa routine wasn't working and they were still getting 24x7 light and no dark period. That changed on the 11th and the girls decided they like that and have since been growing nicely, if they are still smallish due to the cooler temps. I refilled the humidifier which I let go dry and that's probably is helping now too, averaging in the high 40's %RH. They were both starting to look weary with yellowing then browning leaves from the edges in, which I attributed to CalMag deficiency and once I added some to the mix, they seem to be recovering.

I also repotted the one who looked water logged and her roots were only down 2 inches into the pot so I gave some dry soil for 2 days and she started looking better. Another couple weeks in the 1 gallon and I'll move her up to a new size. The SIP will be maintained as she is...she seems to like it. Not sure if I'll top these, as their lower branches are already reaching up. The top of the taller one is getting 60k+ lumens and I think they like the higher luminosity.

My fans blow from the top down past the driver to make sure the heat stays at the canopy.

Also, is the environment outside the tent colder at night than during the day? If so I'd change the time for lights out.
That's how I've got it, fan blowing across/down over the driver and light into the canopy. Temps in basement fluctuate from 61-68, low at night. Will changing the light schedule do anything untoward? Current lights out is midnight to 4am

Nah. For changing the timing in veg I'd extend lights-on until you get to the new lights-off time. So instead of off at midnight let them run until noon and then have them off from noon to 4pm (or whenever is warmest), and that's the new schedule going forward.

For the record, changing the timing in flower is done the opposite way, by extending the off hours until you get to the new schedule.
