I Keep Bonking At The Finish Line!

So as the title says. I can't seem to pack it on for most of my strains for the last week of flower. I'll get it though... I think it is a cal mag issue but I am feeding it a fair amount .
Take a look what do you think?

It was plenty of distance from the light.
So I had to clean the res and do a nute batch so I added extra cal mag this time. But as I know the damage is done on those leaves. The plant is a few days from a flush and harvest but I need to correct it for future ones.


So lets still jump over to veg and check it out.. looks silly....

There is some very interesting choices that are hard to see in there....

Fruit Punch
Jack Herer
Sour diesel
White Widow...
Northern lights about to show.. (its there)

I also have a OG kush in a pill bottle but i must say I expected it to pop by now. It's been 48 hours. No movement. Could just be a dud. we'll wait some more...


So I also have the cloner fired up.. oh let me say though.. No BK you see will live. I already yanked the clones and will yank the one in veg too. I have one more BK seed and I want to start the strain fresh eventually. But not for now.

The Tw's all have roots or maybe 3 of 4? The Pc's not yet. One of the TW's looks nasty... But really this is all about 2 of each one for flower and one for clones. So if some dont make it or will take too long to develop.. Bye Bye...


So other than being empty veg is doing pretty well.. I just am going through a shift over. I planned it to start but when I did it my timing might have been a little wacked cause I only have 4 in flower right now and should chuck a couple more in there.....

So lets go look at it...

So overall things are decent...

Let's get a close look at the TW that is deficient.

It's plenty large enough so I am thinking cal/mag as it at this size needs quite a bit I am sure. So more often on the feedings...more runoff... More PPM...extra cal mag...

That outta do it...


The younger plants are all growing on a good pace so it has to be the older "consumers". I am growing bigger plants each round for a bit there so it would make sense.

So lets keep going.....

Another train wreck that was a little smaller when it hit flower but gotta keep things going... I new the lull would be somewhere...

I may just have been a little too agressive on the LST on the above DCC. It has always been a good grower but I hope finally to have it run clean. I am sure she won't like that. What ever... lol

Last is the PC. Ohh the PC.. Still holds the crown for me. As many clones of clones this thing has had it still produces. Look at it. I mean this one shouldn't disappoint. It is a heavy hitter and makes a super good quality oil.


So things are still rolling along but going through that shift. I probably will keep the current stuff running for a bit to see the growth patterns and learn the new strains. If that OG kush doesn't pop I'll pick one more I think. Not sure....3 others that are looking good

A few hot days approaching this weekend and i may not be around much but I think things have been decent. I haven't hit 80 yet in my flower room and really hasn't hit about 75 at plant level.

So i think that is about it for now. Thanks again to all who follow me and I'm curious if peops agree with me on the cal mag leaves.

Some strains just like a lot of salt Far East. It looks like you found such a strain. I hope you get it dialed in before harvest brotha.

Roots look great. Takes a bit but you seem to have it down


On the group shots I see a lot of down turn leaves... had the lights just come on?

Great question!
The way I understood it to work is transpiration is almost completely based off the level of humidity in the room. Thus allowing the moisture to pass through. I use to trim the ends..but only after they have been damaged from the time it takes to get roots. Self eating itself. Since I went to Aero for cloning my leaves have looked better and usually I have roots before they get eaten up a little. So I havent trimmed them for the last few runs. All those leaves on them will be gone once I defol them as it grows so I never worry too much about veg stuff. I do like the fact it has something to feed on as it develops the roots and starts eating nutes...

I had my old man watch them for awhile he gave them a little extra nutes slowly recovering I have a couple plants that look horrible not sure what to give them

Last year for the first time in 12 years of outdoor growing. I cloned 4 plants. Nothin sophisticated. Around 10 plants a year just supplement the soil n stick em in the ground cull the males. Just cut em soaked in Willow and put em in solos.
Beginners luck I guess.
All 4 made it. I didn't cut leaves. I didn't cover em. And, I put em on the rail at our fire pit in total sun end of June. Lol.

Whoda thunk it. This year I'm inside and the learning curve was formidable for me considering the plant and let grow style background I came from. Things are going better than expected so far. Fingers crossed.

Ok yank the male outta there.
Make sure to flush the plants.. Looks like soil right?
Possibly check the PPM in the drain.
Feed it correctly ph'd stuff...

Are or did you battle heat? looks like venting or possible circulation? Doesnt look like nute burn or anything... Bet it is PH related.. always seems to be my answer...lol

We underwent a considerable downsizing and lifestyle change. Up till two years ago when I got hurt (Fishing accident) we were on a beautiful mountainous piece of land. Acres to farm on. And we did. Everything we could grow was grown, some good some bad, but all great years. Now we live in a rural area but with neighbors. Nice affordable place. Small.

Damn neighbors. I totally understand. I live on a busy street on the corner. Definitely not gonna be growing any outdoor plants anytime soon.
