Our Ongoing Grows

that's a cool looking sprayer for sure there NorCali :high-five:
Have a Great Skunkday man :thumb:

Hey Norcaliwood, you have my undivided attention for sure. Can it be possible Nuke-em works like they say (I hope so) and the Atomizer looks bad to the bone as well. I know your going to let us know how this works. Thank you.
By the way, where did you find the Tiger Tank Sprayer?

60cal, I got it off the net on E-B--. Cost 239.00. called Root Lowell thru Flow Master. And you can bet I'll keep people informed...... I'm waiting on the tip of my chair because I have a plant that is just now starting to flower and she has acouple of them buggers showing. One thing about my grows,,, I have alittle extra space. A grower saying that?? But if I see some mite action on a plant,,, I can keep her unto herself until I deal with the problem. She's a wind tunnel Chronic...
And I really I have all my veg plants doing just that, vegging,, outdoors. Outdoors here you can throw a plant that has mites outside and they are gone in a week or so. Seems mites don't really like it outside here in Oregon so they migrate to the indoors stuff. But I didn't realize I was ordering from Mi. Going to be another day before I do my spraying. I do like the power of it's spraying. I think it will lift all the leaves with a super fine mist and cover completely. I'll see soon. She does kick up a hella mist.
Ok I have acouple fast pictures to throw up. Damn I was just looking at a dude with 500 gallon pots. WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I kind of see alittle over kill but depends on where he's from. I use a 35 gallon half barrel for my larger plants. Speaking of which,,,,,,,,,, I just transplanted one of the PittBull's is one of my larger pots. I use some recycled soils in my larger pots. I do use Hygrozime in acouple waterings at first. Hygrozime kind of eats up the dead carbon matter and converts it into foods for the plants. I also add some Mycro's with worm and seabird castings. And a touch of Marine Cusine, which is time released fertilizer. But anyways here's the Pittbull in her finish pot::::::::
pb19.jpg

I also took a picture of afew other's I have growing on out there. 2 of these were never meant to be a outdoor plant. The Chemdawg was to be flowered but I lagged on her. So I threw her outdoors to simmer, I did take like 8 clones off her and plan on doing afew single colas plants with. The other,,,,,,, well she's called Wood's White a strain I played with earlier in life. But she does show flower. Just alittle and I'm holding off on her for a replacement of 8-10 single cola plants. We are starting to open the pool now. So hopefully some of these are future shade trees.............

Thanks for the information NC. I am perpetual like you so I will need that information eventually.

Thanks again

As if your grow wasn't impressive enough Woody. Now I see you have a pool; I'm ready for a dip & a rip...

Yeah, I would have to say this is probably the most amazing journal on 420, aside Buckshots porn-shop, and OMM's tropical paradise. :laugh:

When I first came to 420, I thought this thread was intended for people to post their "ongoing grows", and then I realized the star of the show was Norcaliwood. He has been a provider of tons of information and amazing grows ever since I can remember. He is a vast source of knowledge and experience, and am very thankful to have came across this group of people here. :circle-of-love:

Thank you NW for showcasing your ladies here with us :thanks:. It is our honor :Namaste:

WOW those outdoor plants are large for this time of year, I thought my Blueberry in my outdoor was big, but your are bigger.

I just sprayed all my indoor and outdoor plants down with some 'Nuke-em' first time i used it, was using Mighty Wash before to keep the mites under control.

You are so right about the mites not liking the outdoor. i think the natural predators help keep them under control.

It's a shame...he sits in the pool and Miss J serves him drinks! :high-five:

Damn I wish Pop's, Miss J bitches at me every time I got get me a bottle..................................... can't say I blame her. It's been a rough life and that page has sure been one of the rougher ones.
Buckshot I hope you don't ever have to deal with them but I've given this stuff a fair shake. I have acouple 3 plants in the flower room that I don't see any buggers on and they are around 7 weeks in so they are cool. but I did find some on some of the bottom interior leaves on my White Russian and acouple eggs on my 2 OG's I just threw in. So as Chronic said I threw them in the 'wind tunnel' and you can crank that machine up and it's like a hurricane blowing. Well I sprayed 75% of what I have in there. I do see 1-2 alive mites moving around in the bodies of it's comrades. Looks like maybe 98% kill. Not bad. Now if it killed eggs, I can't tell yet. The eggs look the same. I do plan on doing it once more tomorrow. I hadn't seen any mite action on this girl but I wanted to see what wood happen to the pistils on my SLH. She's been figured S'ed and is in like 2 weeks to flower, and I don't see any damage to them. No residue oils or smells. And she even still had the little lemon scent she had before I sprayed her. SLH;
slh138.jpg

So far, stuff seems to be working great. Got to be the most gentle product I've ever used. I plan on doing them again tonight a hour before lights come on. I spray them outside and the wind and air dries them pretty fast.
Hey Lester you really wanna see a plant trimed with weed eater. She got alittle outta hand to bring inside so I did some serious pruning. I'll give her acouple days to recover then in the flower room with a bush. Nice thing about doing this is the buds will be able to support themselves. This isn't what you wood do to a strain that only produces acouple main colas, but looking at another friends grow and they are working with the same strain, she seems to be a plant that can make a nice bush covered in 5-6 gram buds. Here's the Chemdawg. I did take afew cuts off her to play around with in them smaller pots. ChemDawg;

I also took acouple pic's of two of my larger ones I just started. The Purpit. Cripit crossed with a Hawaiian Sativa. She's one of them that the secondary stems grow off the main at close to 90 degree angles;

And the Cassius. BIG FAT leaves on this girl;

Ok I also got a shot of the Wappa. She's getting close enough for me to start a flush on her. EXTREMLY FLORAL smell to this one. Shame I didn't take a cutting. She could be a contender for a single cola plant;

Well I want to thank everyone for stopping in and taking a peek. Hope alls gardens are doing great Keepem Green

Thanks Norcaliwood, super update, and looking forward to your finale report on "Nuke em", did you spray walls, ceiling & floors as well?

I want to thank everyone for stopping in and taking a peek. And hope everyone had a Great Fathers Day. I had a good one. Miss J's birthing day this month so we are going to everything all at once and go vist the one armed bandits up in Washington. AND will be a great time to stock up on fireworks for the 4th and whatever turns the crank. This is a patchwork post seeing I started it two days back. Guess I need to get this one done.
I do have to say I'm impressed with the Nuke-em. Craw-Daddy when I sparyed mine I used what they recogmended at 1 oz per quart. The second spray I did was 1.15 per quart My lights come on at 9 pm so I take mine outside and spray at about 8 seeing it's light enough. A hour once in a blue month don't effect the flowering. I turn a fan on mine outside till they dry completely then I put them back in the flower room around 10. I really didn't see any pistil burn on the ones that were in flower like the SLH. I did see alittle 'burnish' look to the one called The Doctor. Not ewally anything that looks 'bad'. Are you making sure everything is good and dry before the lights hit them? I don't see anything but afew dead mites on mine. The couple eggs I can find are brownish so I have a feeling they are dead. You might want to cut back 10-15% on it if you see a burn. Plants are all different. What might not burn one might the other. Just have to use the old trial and error method. Hopefully it didn't hurt them too bad. And I do wonder about the sprayer. Dude the thing is a windtunnel for sure. I might be blowing all the eggs off. I'm not sure what plants you sprayed but I do see the recommendation of cutting back on ppm when spraying. They say to do alittle 15-20% runoff with straight water prior to spraying. I also put acouple drops of super thrive in the water when ever I spray or anything that could stress a plant. Another thing is this sprayer throws up so much air that the leafs all point upwards and that kind of shields the buds. I was just reading thru a High Times mag they have another' one shot deal called Mite Shield. I haven't looked into it yet, but it's suppose to be a one time treatment. But all in all I'm thinking this stuff might be working. Time will tell.
Ok I have a picture to show of the Cripit that was confused. I call her 'knothead'. Kind of like what some call 'donkey ears'. You can see the new flowering growth growing out the sides of the main bud. I got afew pic's of her, Cripit;
c149.jpg

you can really see the side buddage in this pic;
c150.jpg

and one last;
c224.jpg

Ok we all know that Stoney Girl's has kind of stretched or should I say shortened the length of the flowering times. Sales. Well here's one from Paradise Seeds. Plant called White Berry. Suppose to be a 7 weeker,,,,,,,,, suppose to be. All good but here she is at atad over 8 weeks. I started flushing her acouple days back along with the 8-9 weeker called Wappa from the same vendor. White Berry;
wb9.jpg

Just a fast shot of the last grow I'm doing with the White Russian. Been a great plant. Huge colas, fair flowering time of just alittle over 8 weeks, and pretty good quality. I got 1 1/2 oz's off a plant started flowering at 6 inches. Finished at about 18 inch. This one is around 3'. I do have the last two clones I took flowering also at about 6", and then she's gone. I have too many seeds out there to not keep trying new strains. Sooo many strains,,,,,,,, so little time............ White Russian from Paradise Seeds;
wr48.jpg

Damn spun a bearing again,,,,,,,, 8 hours later. but I did have acouple pic's more I wanted to throw up seeing I had-em. It's that White Berry. I took the lowest branch due to boredom last night. Really not boredom but looks like a reasonable ratio of trichomes. I call it around 30% clear, 50% cloudy, and just under 20% showing amber. Not a impressive looking yield, but I have sampled alittle premature 'greenish' buddage and she isn't shabby. Here's afew closer upper shots;
wb13.jpg

wb31.jpg

wb22.jpg

and one last;
wb51.jpg

Well I'm outta here before I spin another. Hopefully I'll be updating from a cruise in the Bahamas of even Hawaii with all our ill gotten gains from them black jack tables,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, yea right. Keepem Green

Looking great as usual NorCal.

I not worrying about pistil burn too much as main goal is to knock the mites out. The Blueberry seemed to get hit the worst buy it. I let them dry off completely before lights on. Was using the reg 1 oz to 1 quart (well in my case liter cause that was what sprayer had marking for).

The Criticals that got sprayed and are farther along then the Blueberry did not seem to get it as bad.

I am going to take one of treated plants out of tent tonight that has the most mites and look at dead, hopefully, mites and eggs under micro scope to see the death, hopefully.
