Our Ongoing Grows

Thanks Hog. You must be a pot hog. Not a razorback are ya? I myself am from that neck of the woods iffin you are. Arkansas Razorback that is. You can store that pollen for a good while as long as you keep it dry. Them little pills that keep moisture out or even rice works. I know I've used pollen over a year old and got some seeds. Maybe it wasn't as viable as it could've been but it worked. As a matter a fact I have acouple Bubba Skunks I just started and that pollen was just short of a year old.
Well just acouple new pictures to throw up there. These plants are all started to flower outdoors, so I don't have a for sure start date but I figure they are just over two weeks in. first off I have another shot of the Marion Berry. Plant was a deep purple when I drug her in, but after a week of warm temps , 83 degrees in the day, 70 at night, she lost that purple look. But I do like the herbs so shes going another round and I already have cutings off her in the veg room. Marion Berries;
mb34.jpg

Now this one is one of my personal favorites. It's a cross of Crippled Rino and Pittbull called Cripit. Stuff will knock you out. I actually have people saying it's to strong. I tell they don't smoke so much.......... Cripit;

Ok what else is new, I just started a new plant in Flower. Called Sugar Plum. of course it's another from SGG's. Plant has won a lot of awards around here in the PNW. I seen it growing at Stony Girls and she was electric pink in the hair department. Should fit right in around here with the Punk Rockers. As they say KEEP PORTLAND WIERD. And they do. But I do like the plant and plan on giving her a wirl. I'll post afew pictures as she starts to flower. Man I'll tell ya, looks like I finally got acouple cutting to root. Plant doesn't seem to like to clone but I know I got two cuttings going. I still have the purple stemmed plant in veg till I get a clone rooted and going. But it's looking like she's going in flower tonight or tomorrow. Also have another P-91 vegging out there. I haven't cut any clones off her yet. Probably be cutting her up in the next couple days, then in she goes. They both are just over 3'.
i''l do another updater soon Keepem Green

Thanks Kitty. Yea I'm still plugging along. What 6 years here and a lot more than I care to talk about but it's always good to see you cruise thru.
It's going to interesting to see if this fertilizer has any kick to it. It's a lot different to work with than other liquids I've played around with. Leaves a slime on the top of the water. But anyways I have this Blueberry Gum that seems to be a real hungry plant. I threw a flush thru her and plan on feeding her heavy tonight for the first time with it;
b-g.jpg

Ok now I have another new strain. Still from Stony Girl's I seen this girl flowering outdoors last year and she was way ahead of mine, which should help on the end of my flower cycle next year outdoors. And she was electric pink in color that looked really cool. I just threw her in Sugar Plum;
sp9.jpg

Ok now we'll just throw acouple updated pictures up. I threw these plants out back in the greenhouse for the first week of flower. So everything is under three weeks in. The Blueberry Gum was the first I threw outback. But here's afew others;

Thanks all for stopping in and hope all's gardens are doing great Keepem Green

Thanks everyone. Not a lot new here. Cept man I don't know what's going on with my F5 Blueberry. Shes a bear to get to clone. I've cut off her three times and none have taken. I mean I got acouple to produce them 'Water Roots', but they didn't take to soil after the transplant. SOOOOOOOOOOOO I plan on taking the main tops for clones around next week and if they don't take I'm going give her a week or two to recover then flower her out anyways. Push come shove I'll do the reveg trip if I like her. A real one of the vine type plants. You could bend her branches to whatever position you want that's for sure. Perfect plant for LST'ing. I can see she's going to need afew stakes in her before all's said and done. But she's sure staying nice and short even with all the sativa looks she has. Kind of a slow grower compared with the others I have in veg.
bb130.jpg

and she has a lot of pretty colors showing in the stems already. She started out do dark purple she looked black;
bb129.jpg

Well for now that's about it. Thanks for stopping in and looking everyone and Keepem Green
Man I still am trying to get use to this fertilizer. It's pretty slimy. You'd have to strain it out if you was going to pump it thru some hydro systems that's for sure. I bet it wood clog a dripper or jet fast. I can see why they recommend it for soil gardens.

Looks great you two....some super looking strains from my seat :thumb: I am still around....they shut my phone off cause i didnt pay the bill....Some Beach! Got a new one and will give you a buzz one of these nights,when I see you are on :passitleft:

All good slim. If I don't hear from ya in a week or so I'll drop the dime and figure you don't have the number. Thanks Cronic for stopping in.
I was just talking with Mike from Stony Girls and he has afew different pollens around. And what he doesn't have on hand, one of the Club Members will have whatever I want. I guess I'll be taking a peek and what else he has going on pretty soon. Kind of cool, they have a breeders club. When they get working on a strain or seed production, they have a bunch of local growers help grow out different crosses and their experiments. They supply the genetics as long as you work with them and do some of their leg work. They even have a seed breeding program where they will buy seed back from you if you grow out the parents of their choosing. Mike said he was just looking at some more property to 'expand' his grows. Takes a lot of time and space to stabilize a strain into a true breed. I might did alittle deeper into this club and see what it's all about. Might be fun to get to play with hundreds of plants once again.
I just found out a friend of ours who did our A/C unit found a tumor. He's a straight, but he's interested in the RSO. I was asking Mike what he suggested and he said what he calls total immersing. Seeing this guy has 'never' smoked he's going to put 1/20 of a gram per cap for him. Then he takes one waits about a hour and if he doesn't feel anything he's to take a second and even a third till he figures out his dose. Stuff runs 20$ a gram and he suggests getting up to as close as you can to a gram per day, once in the morning with a half dose, and the rest in the evening. Mike's 'Old Lady' is a cancer survivor. She was diagnosed terminal. Well she's in remission. According to Mike they have had afew people that really did great using it as a treatment. Some peoples tumors have totally disappeared. Interesting at the least. I guess cancer cells don't care to be bed mates with THC. So you keep some THC levels up to chase the cancer out. Hey that wood be hella cool if herbs can get dialed and get proven that it can cure cancer, then they could start recognizing it for it's true values.
Nothing here to really get excited about. OH yea, I did start acouple new strains. I know about everyone here has grown this one. I did it when I first moved here and I think it fell victim to the dreaded PM. I've not found any PM since I started spraying one time with the eagle product. I spray about 1-2 week into flower. The stuff is symetic meaning it's absorbed into the plant and lasts up to 28 days. So by spraying in the 1st, second week, it has plenty of time to dissipate. As much PM I was seeing the first couple years alittle prevention go ALONG ways. Now back to the strains first Mango from KC Brains. And I also cracked a White Russian from Serious Seeds. Both are peeking out the dirt as I type. And I just threw acouple more in on top of the cable box, in a paper towel covered with plastic wrap, a Grand-Daddy Purple, which was a regular seed. I didn't pay attention when I ordered. I thought it was fem or I'd have ordered more than 1. But then don't have fem seeds of it.
I also threw a OG Kush seed in there. It's from the Humboldt Seed Organization vendor. I also got ahold of The Doctor from Green House Seeds and also their version of Train Wreck. I also have a Moby Dick seed from them too. Really I have 10-15 single seeds in my stock box, and I plan on getting some more as soon as the sale starts up next month. Well I'm outta here. Been along day after jumping thru hoops for my pain Doctor Fri. I got off the morphine pump's high doses. Well they started me on some little 10 mill oxycodone X 3 per day. Well it didn't hold me. I ran out 5 days before my next appointment. Rather than lay around and hurt I had some of my old morphine tablets. Well they tested me that Friday, and it can out the same as a dirty test, no oxycodone in my system and morphine that's not suppose to be there was. I complained and they raised my dose to 4 times a day. That should work. Least I think it will. But here I was on 800 mills of morphine on a constant drip for years and years, and I got a bug up my ass and I weaned off the morphine. Truth I was worried that it was going to be a pain to get them to give me something that wood work. They wanted to push a fentanyl patch on me. Them things never worked for me. And they are classed a much stronger pain killer than the oxycodone. I want to stay as low as I can on that scale. Well thanks for listening to me babble here. Hope everyone gardens are doing great,,,,,, and Keepem Green

I understand with the pills Wood, I smashed my thumb, shattering it in fact, and was on pain pills. I hate the way they make me feel, all sluggish, then I got hooked on them, had to ween myself off. Prior to the accident, I wasn't smoking weed, because of random tests at work, but I had to have some relief. Now I'm looking for a job that is not as dangerous, maybe I won't shatter my thumb again, and have to endure three surgeries. Good thing is we are moving soon, as a result of this injury, to a state with a little better political climate, then I can grow legally! Sorry for the rant, and I hope you find a solution for the pain, I couldn't imagine having to take those damn pain pills all the time.

Blueberry him I grew was a big eater, twice what my others at the time we're drinking,that new food sounds good you should make sure the myko population stays busy, you have some gorgeous gals growing, I feel ya on the pain med rollercoaster, I'm on a stupid high dose my doc created a monster by not prescribing right I'm on a bunch of the 30s a day and they are not working,I'm hurting non stop but gotta take the oxees or I get sick,he has a hang up about giving a time released and a ir at the same time,I don't get this guy he UPS my dose over N over telling me that's the nature of the beast,now he's concerned it's to much wtf? I been on this crap 7 yrs I hate it, but I was so naive I didn't know it was so addictive, or I would have refused them, to late now! Now they want me to go see a pain mgmt Dr, and somehow make me feel like I'm a fiend , I never knew what a pain pull was till they gave em to me! Be careful with the oxee that builds tolerance fast especially the ir kind, sorry to rant it's just a sore spot with me ,the system is a mess and I think they just want us dependent for controls sake, I just want to find a strain that stops the pain and W/d symptoms, then I'll wean off forever, but severe pain is tough to live with , glad you got weaned down gives me hope I can!

Thanks everyone for stopping in. Babble away. That's really COOL Dank. I hope you find a nice cool private little place tucked away off in a corner somewhere where you can even throw some out in the back 40. Nothings prettier than a plant flowering outdoors. I was so happy when they, them fools, finally told me I was legal. We can all say it will be in your state soon but soon is tooo far away. I'll say this it's a high unto itself being able to grow 'Legally'. I'd hope most states are a lot more relaxed then things use to be. I mean real soon the federal government has to get tired of all this crap and smarten up and legalize it across the board.
I think so BID. About that Blueberry-Gum. She's a eater for sure. Do you remember if the herbs were any good? I mean any weed grown out the right way, sensie, turns out a lot better than the parents. Some of my best weed was bag seed. I always try to tell people if they are starting to take opiates to stick with as small a dose as needed. Least then when you really need them they 'might' work. Your doc sure wasn't dong you any favors if he started you out with something that strong. I use to do my share of 'street medications' and I didn't mess around. I figure I'm going to do something for pain I was going to make sure it worked. So I opted for the strongest opiate out there, big mistake. Man after all that nothing seemed to work. Least what the doctors prescribed. And then I had that morphine pump installed. It was too easy to just say turn it up. I was up to pretty close to 700 milligrams at any giving time. That's enough to kill acouple people. Tolerance really sucks.
A fast pic to show what I use them coffee creamer bottles for. They are great for liquids or dry products. You can see the separation in the bloom and grow parts;
fert5.jpg

Bummer today, I looked in and it seems that the Mango seed I planted damped off. The rest look happy and healthy for now. I do have another Mango seed which I threw on top the cable box today. Along with a Underdawg OG and a Train Wreck. The Underdawg OG was a freebie. Oh and I had a Marion Berry in flower. This strain doesn't like heat it seems. I had it alittle to tall and it was under the 1500 watt light. I guess it was to much heat and she hermied on me. I threw it out in the greenhouse hoping she'll make it another week maybe two out there. Least then she'll be good for cooking with or hash.That's about it for now I'll do some updating pretty soon.
Till then I hope all's doing good and Keepem Green

Damn that creamer jug idea is brilliant ! I have all these dry things I keep I big zipper glad bags,pain in the ass you just solved it for me ,I always like repackagings Coz I can write the important data on the package like how much to use,without having to re read the lable for the 50th time lol thank you my friend you solved a problem for me, so I buy liquid creamers for spiffys from time to time during this time of year she's quite find of the pumpkin spice and peppermint is my treat!:thumb:

Once more thanks everyone for taking a peek at the madness I have growing in there. I have been noticing the plants seem hungry. I guess it could be this new fertilizers? I've been being alittle heavy with these nutrients in their feedings but they still look hungry. I'm going to hit these with a dose of my regular fertilizers. I think they can sure use the blast from some micro nutrients and some of the bloom blasters from Fox Farm. Most plants are looking ok just alittle off is all. Nothing that won't work out ok in the long run.
I do have acouple new pictures to post. First off is the Cripit. She's one of my favorites. I've had afew people claim it was too strong Cripit;
cripit39.jpg

and one more;
crpit1.jpg

Ok here's the mother strain of the Cripit. Called Crippled Rino;
cr8.jpg

and;
cr12.jpg

I also have the father of Cripit growing. It's called Pittbull;
pb8.jpg

Also I have one I really like. It's got to be some of the smoother smoke I've grown out lately. And she's pretty fast. All these plants started flowering the last week of October. GigaBud;
gb20.jpg

and I also have a picture of the Oydeusss. One day I'll figure out the correct spelling but till then this has to work;
od14.jpg

I also just got a new toy. Not that I really need it because I change my lights every year. But it's something new to play around with, A light meter;
lm.jpg

Yea BID I hear ya on that. I got tired of bags leaking all over the place. Works for me. And it's a lot easier to measure from over them gallon jugs. Keepem Green

<<I've had a few people claim it was too strong Cripit;
Damn, I need to find a strain that's "too strong", don't think I've ever smoked anything that I couldn't handle. I have smoked really strong stuff, that I had to build a tolerance to, but it's been awhile since anything besides concentrates knocked me on my ass. Some awesome ladies as usual Wood, very tasty looking specimens for sure.

Happy Tokerday to you Norcali and a Weedefull week :thumb:
always enjoy the updates

Drive by. Well you know weed effects everyone differently. These people aren't really smokers. Weekend Warriors types. Which is great. I wish I could get high like they do. Sad thing about having a long past in the field of drugs, legal or otherwise. Tolerances. Whenever you've done the best and strongest,,,, the rest are only secondary. And I know I've done way over my share of being out of it. That being said, it sucks when you can't get that old feeling you use to at one time or another. I know I haven't been able to get really stoned on herbs for along time. Even being a grower, you end up with a lot of excessive herbs and we tend to over smoke. 'Smoked Out' If I give smoking a break for a day, that's kind of hard unto itself, then I can feel a joint ok. But I don't get stoned anymore. Not really stoned. I'm lucky to get a giggle out of a Family Guy rerun anymore. That's sad. But these friends get all zoned still. Damn I wish I could.
I just came in from the greenhouse, and the Marion Berries isn't showing any more male sign. She has turned a pretty purple. I'm debating on bringing her back in. I see a lot of buddage on her and seeing I can't find any more male flowers, I can't see why not. I'll just have to watch her real close especially seeing how I'm messing around with her time schedule and the drastic changes in temps going on. But here's what I have going on out there;
mb212.jpg

mb116.jpg

and one more Marion Berry;
mb37.jpg

I also had to preform minor surgery on one of the seed starts. We all know them times we have to help our babies along by pulled the seed hull from the embryo, but every once in awhile you can still have alittle something holding the cotyledons, or what I call the feed leaves together. Well had to pop this one apart. Kind of mouth to mouth with the aid of my pocket knife, and It's a Train-wreck. Actually I have a lot of new strains coming up in there. I'm really looking forward to one of them, White Russian. I've grown this strain before and LOVED it. I'll update them as they become a seedling. Oh my two cents about germination, I sift my soil to rid it of larger pieces of perlite that could block the sprout from emerging. And I also fill my starting pot 2/3- with soil. I like to leave at least 1/3 of my pot empty incase I end up with leggy sprouts. And I see that a lot in a perpetual grow. Sometimes I can't give a sprout all the light it wants, all kind of various sizes growing in my veg tent sometimes, and they get atad leggy, but then I can always fill the pot the remainder to help support the plant. Works for me.
On a more depressing note,,,,,,,,,,,,, I walked past this to get to the greenhouse;
pots6.jpg

I hate the looks of empty pot with soil in them. I go thru a lot of soil myself. I really don't want to reuse my soils here especially with all the molds and rot that could lay dormant in the soil till temps get more favorable. I know a lot of people spend years getting soils dialed in with all the microbial actions and all, and a lot of people use a LOT of soils in their outdoor grows. I seen 250 gallon pots I know I'd hate to have to refill every year. And depends on where you live, a lot of plants can really use all that elbow room to produce their maximum. I live by what my mentor told me, a plant can only get as big as it's root structure is. You know it's funny, this guy I use to follow around as a youngster learning to grow, after reading countless things about growing, he was pretty damn sharp in most of his teachings. And he didn't have any internet to ask and read from. the more I see cosigning with what he told me, the more impressed I am. Dude was sharp. He did have acouple strange ideas too though. The damn sadist use to believe in spanking, his works, his plants. He always walked around with a rolled up newspaper slapping the main stalks on his plants. Claimed the stimulation helps plants produce. But then he talked about putting a nail thru the main stem to help 'shock' a plant into producing more resin to repair a repairable wound. We never went that far, but he'd walk his plants with that newspaper every evening. I'd bet it helps with dust closing the pores in the leaves. Anyways Sorry to babble abit but,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, Keepem Green

Beautiful purple buds wood, very nice indeed, you sure have some awesome strains, hoping I'll get some good stuff from this current bunch. Got 3 nice crosses going, so hoping it's some good stuff, they sure are some vigorous plants.
