Our Ongoing Grows

Welcome Dank anytime glad to have ya. Don't worry about following mine, it goes everywhere. But feel free to ask anything you want. I just scroll for pictures usually. Hey Vick, that's a bummer. Happens every once in awhile. This year was just sad here. Poor Shemp. your first outdoor grow is usually 'special' but he fought hard for his herbs too.
Sorry I've not been keeping up with my journal but that was depressing. I'm still babbling about the crappy weather. And then around the 3rd the sun popped out. I still had a mini Bubblious growing out there, till today Miss J got it.
But things are looking up abit, in other words the inside is kicking out some pretty damn decent herbs right now. It's looking like the Marion is going to be next. I did get a shot of a sample I took off her. She's got some massive buds on her. These pictures are of a 'small' bud off her. I see acouple buds that should weigh out at least 1 1/2 oz's apiece. I WILL be doing a photo session with her as we harvest. Well here's that 'small bud'.

Hey Alaska. Trip on the color that weed turned in afew days after cutting. I flowered her 8 1/2 weeks under her spot with the 1500 watt HPS. I see just under 6 Oz's her. I haven't sampled her out yet, we kind of have a long line of plants to work with right now. Oh BTW that "sharksbreath", man that stuff got bud rot first and it spread real fast, we took it for hash or butter, way to early. But here's afew pictures of that Lemon OG Kush,

Hey anyone out there, I got a question??? Why are my clone yellowing so fast after I cut them? Like the 3rd or 4th day I start getting yellowing. I'm cutting mine from the bottom branches. I'm using the EZ cloner. Been experimenting between the gels and vita-grow. I know the humidity is kind of low seeing it's in the closet in my flower room which I keep at 40%. So it's got to be 45% in there?? I get roots but it seems the plants are needing food. After the callus shows on the cutting, I throw about 300 ppm of a bloom fert's in the res. Shows ya how much I've been up I had to use paper ph tests. My 'cheapy' PH pen proved her worth. Oh well I just got a new cheapy, well I think it's better than the last which lasted 6 months, this is that Hanna Check unit. About 40$. But I shoot for PH-6. I'm using cutting edge fertilizers. Anyone out there doing something different??

Thanks all and Keepem Green

Looks awesome... sorry to hear the outdoor girls did not fair well.

I throw veg nutes in once I see roots
Buds looking good there Norcali
Happy Weednsday :thumb:

Thanks everyone for taking a peek at my grow. Thanks for the imput there Cronic, I've always heard to use bloom formula, but then I'm not having a lot of luck. And I need to figure this out real soon to keep some more strains alive. My temps are alittle warm, like 85. I figure it has to be the temps. Sometimes they root GREAT, and then. I did get my tester today. My PH is alittle low, 5.75. I'm going to do abit of digging on the parameters later tonight.
The best part of my whole outdoor grow this year Buck, was saving these babies. I can't wait to taste this one, the Marion Berry. She's been in flower almost 7 weeks and she's REAL close. In fact I've already started her flush program. I'm going to feed her and everything in my room molasses for the remainder of their lives. Hopefully they be all they can be. I still haven't broke out my little mini studio yet, but I will say this, she gets prettier as she starts to dry. But I think she'll be worthy of afew minutes to get some good pictures. But here ya go for now;

I even got a plant shot;
bush12.jpg

Ok let's see what else is cooking in there. We have that GigaBud flowering out in there. She like the Marion are under 7 weeks in. They and this one, Wrex;
wrex7.jpg

both were started flowering outdoors. Closest date I can put on these plants was they just started showing acouple hairs in last week of August. But they came in acouple weeks back from all the bad weather. GigaBud is a sprawling out sativa looking plant. I mean this girl takes up the square footage. But that could be from growing outdoors where the sun gets to all the branches. Plants get hella bushier when grown out outdoors. At least twice as bushy. I seen acouple people grow this out. But I've never seen her with a smoke report. Oh on a fast note I wasn't all that impressed with the GS Cookies. Maybe it needs to cure some more, but I kind of agree with HighTime's compares between it and the empty GS Cookie box. Nice short plant with a descent yield of 'smaller' buds. Right now she rates like
7.75-8 Enough rambling, But here's the GigaBud;

and;
giga5.jpg

This plant here, all I can say about her is WOW. She don't yield a lot, but she has to have more trichomes than any other plant I've grown before. She's good smoke don't get me wrong. She's a solid 8+ in my books in the quality department. But granted she produces a nice main cola, plant wood be perfect I mean prefect for a SOG setup with single branch plants stacked up, but I'm going to let her go from my gardens. She's so thick in the leaf department that's she's the first plants mites find and feast upon. She's minimal stretch. GodBud;
gb19.jpg

I will get the macro lens fired up for these babies real soon. God Bud is real impressive up-close. In this pic she's just a white blur.
I also have a Mazzar Kush flowering in there. Good looking plant. Reminds me of Vantage, oh well. I have grown this one afew times and I get the feeling she's going to be one I regret not cloning. But you can only keep so many. And I'm always looking for that one special one ya know,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, Mazzar Kush;
mk15.jpg

One last plant pretty well sums things up, Crippled Rino. Solid plant. I haven't sampled her yet, I just started flushing her and a Fruity Chronic Juice I got in there. Chronic Juice is a sweet 'little' girl. She didn't get any size to her and she has a lot of popcorn buds on her, I have enough popcorn buds from my outdoor plants, so I'm culling her after 3-4 grows. My scale puts her at 7-7.25. But I plan on working with this one acouple more times, Crippled Rino;

Well I'm going to get this one posted. I hope everyones doing great out there and Keepem Green

A lot of frostiness all around!! :cheesygrinsmiley:

Dude excellent looking A1 ya have there. You have a lot more hairs there then I usually do. Also, the color of the bud will change the lower you keep them temps at night time. When the lights are out the buds will turn a purple to almost a chocolate color if the lights off temps are between 55 and 60. Love looking at the god bud, may have to come see my friend soon! Hope your keeping that strain alive and going.

looking good man
I think you use the bloom boost before you take the cutting
I usually take a couple off seed plant about a week into 12/12 if its not off a mother
I just keep the mothers on grow nutes the clones usually root
using a bubble cloner diy

Just read up on the outdoor problems you had this year - what a bummer. Your outdoor stuff is always amazing, what a huge loss... Sorry brother - that sucks!

Thanks everyone for stopping in. Yea Xlr8, RIP. But we did fight tooth and claw with afew plants that really saved the day. Been awhile since I seen ya guess your staying busy nowadays.
Thanks for the impute Cronic. I always seem to have this problem about this time of year. Temps start dropping at nights and I get lazy after the fall harvest and don't pay attention to things. Oh well I drug my cloner inside and yanked everything in it and took some new cuttings. I in a perfect world water my 'mother' with alittle B-1 acouple hours before I cut. I know what was wrong, temps and ph. The cuttings I have now are up to snuff again. A lot of times I didn't even sharpen my razor before cutting, all kinds of no no's, dirty containers with vita-grow etc. But I got my head out my ya know. I've always heard using bloom tho. Has all the goodies for root developments. You really don't use a lot of Nitrogen in this stage. But the time some real roots show I'd use some weak grow till she can handle full fert's. Hope all's going great your way also.
Alaska I still have her growing. I haven't had a real sample yet off her yet cured and all. But It's looking good.
Now for ya'll that want 'Frostyness',,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, I have a picture or two of the last God Bud I'm growing. I've grown her afew times and she has more trichomes than any plant I've ever grown. She's not the biggest yielder in the box, and she's a mite magnet, but she is a solid 8.25 in my book. I wood grow her again tho. God Bud;

and;
godbud3.jpg

One mean looking plant. There are just two many strains for me to try to keep her growing. I really hope I can get another good strain like Cripit growing. Cripit could use a little larger yield, but it's Great' pot. I still have her but I want to try afew more Stoneys strains to figure what I'm going to do outdoors again next year. I do have another strain going. P-91. I've grown it before and it's killer dope. Not sure 'why' I got rid of her but I'll do it again. P-91;

Also have this one Sugar Plum;

And ofcourse the Blueberry;
bb128.jpg

But I agree about the Marion Berry. Man if I could've finished her outdoors,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, no telling what colors she's have finished with. After bringing her inside her purples kind of faded. But she's is colorful;
mb30.jpg

Here's acouple more pictures of her;

Sampled her alittle 'green' and shes great smoke so far.
Ok we also cut the Gigabud. If you got some room she's a nice 'sprawling' plant. I'll tell ya how she smokes soon. Gigabud;

Another newbie to me, Wrex. Man she wants to purple out even at mid 70's temp's. Wrex;

wrex11.jpg

Well that's it for now. I really want to say I'm sorry for not keeping up with everyones grows as I should be. I've just been kind of bored with the PC. But I want tp thank all for come by. It's sure great to be able to share our grows with peoples. Keepem Green

I'll say this mother nature can be cruel. October has been pretty. Sunny for the last couple weeks. WTF it could've happened in the last weeks of September. Oh well happens. Hope alls doing good out there. Tonites been a pretty good night here. For the first time in a week I've felt like moving around AND I have a empty flower room to work with this week. TOTAL cleaning,,,,,, and I threw afew plants in the greenhouse to strat the flowering up. Seems my cloning is getting dialed in. I bought one of the Hanna ph pens for 40$ Things kind of touchy to get right but it seems to be working. And the temps are steady 74 degrees in the tent now that I drug it inside. This dummy was just killing clones for a bit using ph papers. I've always done the brownie clones under a dome. I'll get it dialed in. Well no news from here, fixing to cut the Wrex any minute and she's the last. She's plumed up nicely and is turning deep purple in her leaves. I'll get a picture up as soon as she takes a decent pose. Till later all Keepem Green

Thanks Dawg. Well I do have acouple new pictures to post up. This is the last one I have going in flower. This is a depressing shot, a empty flower room;
fr3.jpg

Now we clean. That's was the closest I could get to white at a reasonable price.
Ok we are finally cutting the Wrex. She's another from Stoney Girls and man shes sticky;

Ok well that's it from the Doghouse. Hope everyones doing great and gardens are growing great, and Keepem Green
