Our Ongoing Grows

Man I sure glad no one gotta under what I type in my senseless babbling. Method to madness????????? Never. That could be scary....

Keepem Green y'all

BINGO! The key to following a journal and understanding it.

Wait... I don't understand. . . . What're we talkin' about, man?
Those of us who use to "Read" or should I say look at Playboy Mags as kids know what I'm talking about, we never knew she liked horseback riding and long walks on the beach. It was all about the pics not the text but to follow a journal means reading a journal. Otherwise we're just thumbing through it.

You only need one hand to turn the pages... :rofl:
I know I'm not the only one who thought this guy was doing something to make him that happy.

the jokes was always good
and yes I read the like romantic dinners and shit
if you know what they want you can get what you want lol
the pics was always cool because it was artistic and sensual
but for other things I mean cmon youd rather grab a penthouse or a hustler :rofl:

My father didn't keep the good stuff or maybe I just couldn't find them. LOL

I liked Little Annie Fanny' oh well sad thing,,, we just got hammered with 50 mile a hour wind gusts after a long wet night. Makes me wish I took another pic of Sugar Plum,,,,,,,, She didn't fair to well with a 1/3 of her busted to hell and gone...... Well we rounded up the wagons and pushed all the plants together for support. A lot of pots were knocked over with some minor damage because I forgot to water them for weight and balance. Sad shit. But 90% of the girls are in good shape. I'll update later after I finish crying for awhile..... I think we all got to our favorite parts, me it's the Bud Porn. Keepem Green

Sheesh Woody, sorry to here about the bad weather. At least you faired well and didn't lose too much.

hell I got a couple more storms coming this way im indoors and in hydro so power dependent
but I got a generator so im not too worried

Damn, Buddy. Sorry for the damage. Great idea to circle the wagons. Hope most came through with out too much carnage. :smokin2:

I hate that when a storm kicks the breaker. Always makes me wonder what to do. If I'm ontop of it, I will fire bulbs hot. I know it cuts the bulbs life but I tend to think if it's less than 5 minutes, and depends on time of cycle. But generators are cool. And I bet ya'll don't have but one sorce of grid out there. Hell where do you get your electric from out the CHH? You can't have a lot of Mississippi Rivers running around that Island??

Well the plants weathered the rain easily. I kind of looked forward to rinsing off the leaves. It's time for a dose of Captains Jack's. We do get a lot of loopers, bud worms, whatever you call them caterpillars. But figure a harvest in about 30 days, hopefully 40+,,, like the big boys down there in Nor Cali,,,, BTW hope ya'll didn't get to much bad weather. But a dose about 28 days prior to harvest seem to work. Not a worm one dropping off the buds as they dry.
Man that really hurt the looks of that sugar plum..................
And more Rains and then alittle more ....................................... Like 1 AM, And I don't wanna look out back till we can pull the plants back away from cover and structure. Guess I'll sit here have a snort off the jug and listen to George Jones....... Maybe I can come up with a country song about lost buddage??? I had a chapter here today........... But the real trooper was Miss J...... She woke me after the winds really started knocking plants around. The Star-47 was launched into the big Zippy. Well I binded a main branch to a sister branch and before I could look into it further,,, well she blew over and took out two branches....
Well rain and some more,,,,,,,,,,,,,, just me, Jack, and the Possum singing 'I Don't Need Your Rocking Chair !!!! And a pile of drying branches next to the fire ring..... I should've tied some netting around her,,,,,,,,, But Well I need to vist the errrrr well, never know I might be alive after another pull or two. Keepem Green

My very first journal AND the reason I came to 420 Magazine was for help with my "storm damaged" plant.

After staking and tying the broken limbs back up I managed to nurse it back to health and actually got a decent production from it. Granted mine were dwarfs compared to yours, but I managed to get it to finish. It was about then that BID introduced himself to me because we were both "Zonies". He was such a good mentor and friend! I do miss chatting with him alot!
:circle-of-love:

Yes Hozona. Bid was a good dude. He caught on fast with things. I've had to repair some major banches before. On them smaller branches, I love to use this green plastic tape. Stuff is like 1/2" wide and real 'soft'. But on a big plant, I love a used pantyhose. Stuff works great to tie split stems back together. Wide enough to have enough surface area, and wrap it 3-4 time around of it will hold them together. But really like Miss J reminded me, it was kind of my fault. Funny I had tied up the half of the plant facing out and planed on doing to other half soon. Just wasn't soon enough. I like to have a center pole and spider down tie ribbons and tie up the main branches on most of my girls way before flowering starts and you can reach around in there. Then adjust afew ties according when she starts putting on that weight.
I did take a pic or two. First pic is almost a pound that won't be;

Here's abit of the damage. I could've fixed this but I couldn't think of a good material. Miss J ran out of pantyhose in my last Buck Rodger's Hydro grow. But after talking Miss J reminded me of ace bandages............... Sounds great, but

and here's half a plant. My Bad;

Well enough dwelling. I like to look of this one. Looks like a purple one??????????

And one last pic. Strange plant. Started symmetrical. Then a single leaf outta nowhere,,,,,,,, and then back to symmetrical. She's one of the grab bag auto strains I started. Not that I want these genetics,, but she is odd.

Well thanks for looking in all and I hope everyones gardens are doing great Keepem Green

Ohh, sorry about the bummer Woody but at least Mother Nature left you 1/2 of the other one. You might want to blame yourself but don't, she always has a way to remind us who's in charge.

Looks great even after the damage...
