Those of us who use to "Read" or should I say look at Playboy Mags as kids know what I'm talking about, we never knew she liked horseback riding and long walks on the beach. It was all about the pics not the text but to follow a journal means reading a journal. Otherwise we're just thumbing through it.Wait... I don't understand. . . . What're we talkin' about, man?
BTW I was a LOYAL Hustler reader............... Keepem Green
I liked Little Annie Fanny' oh well sad thing,,, we just got hammered with 50 mile a hour wind gusts after a long wet night. Makes me wish I took another pic of Sugar Plum,,,,,,,, She didn't fair to well with a 1/3 of her busted to hell and gone...... Well we rounded up the wagons and pushed all the plants together for support. A lot of pots were knocked over with some minor damage because I forgot to water them for weight and balance. Sad shit. But 90% of the girls are in good shape. I'll update later after I finish crying for awhile..... I think we all got to our favorite parts, me it's the Bud Porn. Keepem Green
My very first journal AND the reason I came to 420 Magazine was for help with my "storm damaged" plant.I hate that when a storm kicks the breaker. Always makes me wonder what to do. If I'm ontop of it, I will fire bulbs hot. I know it cuts the bulbs life but I tend to think if it's less than 5 minutes, and depends on time of cycle. But generators are cool. And I bet ya'll don't have but one sorce of grid out there. Hell where do you get your electric from out the CHH? You can't have a lot of Mississippi Rivers running around that Island??
Well the plants weathered the rain easily. I kind of looked forward to rinsing off the leaves. It's time for a dose of Captains Jack's. We do get a lot of loopers, bud worms, whatever you call them caterpillars. But figure a harvest in about 30 days, hopefully 40+,,, like the big boys down there in Nor Cali,,,, BTW hope ya'll didn't get to much bad weather. But a dose about 28 days prior to harvest seem to work. Not a worm one dropping off the buds as they dry.
Man that really hurt the looks of that sugar plum..................
And more Rains and then alittle more ....................................... Like 1 AM, And I don't wanna look out back till we can pull the plants back away from cover and structure. Guess I'll sit here have a snort off the jug and listen to George Jones....... Maybe I can come up with a country song about lost buddage??? I had a chapter here today........... But the real trooper was Miss J...... She woke me after the winds really started knocking plants around. The Star-47 was launched into the big Zippy. Well I binded a main branch to a sister branch and before I could look into it further,,, well she blew over and took out two branches....
Well rain and some more,,,,,,,,,,,,,, just me, Jack, and the Possum singing 'I Don't Need Your Rocking Chair !!!! And a pile of drying branches next to the fire ring..... I should've tied some netting around her,,,,,,,,, But Well I need to vist the errrrr well, never know I might be alive after another pull or two. Keepem Green
