Our Ongoing Grows

I'm sure they're gonna recuperate, it's still early :thumb:

Thanks everyone for stopping in and taking a peek. Yea I'll survive and thanks for the well wishes all. I'm not tripping that's for sure. Got plenty going out there to fill out for all the carnage. I will say this, we had a cold snap after all that heat along with some well needed rain, for 5 days. Good thing it's early that's for sure. But that cold snap really brang out a lot of purple in acouple out there. Funny I was walking around out there tonight and looked at the clone I took off of Miss J's Zippy. Damn thing just got her first juiced fert's of the flower cycle and she's better than 10' tall in a 12 gallon pot. If I'd have never topped 'Zippy', which is a Liberty Haze, I'd have had a monster out there. Zippy Jr is a tad over 3 months old............. I'll get outside pic's tomorrow.
I did grab a pic of what we are smoking now. A plant called Cotton Candy Cane. Even if misspelled..... I'm not impressed with her at all tho. Looks good but lacks a punch;
ccc11.jpg

Mean time while I'm out of good smoke,,,,, I do have a pretty Cripit going.
cripit47.jpg

I was going to let her go last time but I ended up revegging her. But this is the last time I'm going to play with her. I have toooooooooooo ,many strains to play around with to keep a constant yet. And after I get this Order in I'll have a lot more. Pretty good sale going on real fast in the seed department. I ordered a 20 pack of regular Auto's from Short Stuff. Speaking of auto's,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, I do have a cool one going. I think she's going to really become a cool plant and if that happens,,,,,,,, I'll try to flip her over for some male pollen. Here she is;
auto_21.jpg

And here's acouple more coming up. I do have afew nonauto's mixed in;
kids53.jpg

Ok acouple new Strains. A GSC's. You can see she's fixing to get topped a second time. And somehow she got hit with a Leaf Miner on her first set of leaves. But I generally top on the second set of leaves, I mean you get a single leaf, then a three leafer, then I top. Then a let her get two more sets and top again. I like short bushy plants. GSC;
gsc20.jpg

Here's one I never seen before. Called Space. Least that's all I had copied on her baggie. She's been topped twice in this pic and just hit a third time.
space7.jpg

Well that's it for now. Short and sweet. I hope all enjoyed the holiday.... My neighbor got alittle pissed because I lite the sky up afew time in the sprit with acouple mortars. Never said it was easy living close to me and my Red Neck ways anyways........ They'll get use to it... Least I hope. Well hope everyone doing great out there and the best....... And Keepem Green

I've been wondering where Oregon Pinot Noir has gone? But I guess it wasn't that good in the end, was it?

Well Coradino, The Oregon Pinot Noir didn't grow out like she should've. I really think the root system got bent or something when they transplanted her. She never took off like her sister plant did. A friend's got real big and mine wasn't a lot, and it didn't impress me. I didn't grow a lot from Stoney Girls this year. I do have a Sugar Plum and a Crippled Rino going out there. Here's the Rino;
cr37.jpg

Funny how fast a pot plant really grows. Zippy had about 2 months veg time from a 6" start. She's over 10'. It's a strain called Liberty Haze. The other is another sativa strain also. I snuck a pic of Miss J out there tending the crop this morning. Mine also are yellowing out pretty fast now.
Miss_J3.jpg

And here's acouple that are turning purple already. I can't wait to see them when it really gets cold;

and
cheese114.jpg

Well thanks for stopping in everyone. Hey CHH I found the change to stop all the trash from filling the mail box. Hope alls good out there. And hope alls good for everyone,,,,,, Keepem Green

Crippled Rino
:whoa:

I think he was saying the Oregon Pinot Noir wasn't fairing well, not the Rhino.

That crippled rhino doesn't look like it limps at all!
Sorry for the previous post Jandre, your humor went right over my slow-witted head.

Everything goes over my head,,,,,,,,,,,, well kind of. They say when you get old the first thing to go is your memory,,, I forgot the second,,,... Always great to talk with ya Pops. I'm not one to do a lot of typing on a PC myself, but I was hooked on cards on here. Pinochle. Played the game 5-6 hours a day. Really hard to find players unless your in prison, or the services, or the old folks homes. Still it's a great game. That's where I bumped into Miss J was cards for acouple years before we actually met, But I'm getting side tracked.
Rainy weather afoot around here. I ended up transplanting Zippy in a larger pot so she won't topple over again. I just wanted to post afew pic's real fast. First off a pretty one. I see a 'Bright ass purple' showing here. It's one of the auto seeds I got in the grab bag I got. I also got that 29 pack coming from Short Stuff breeders. But I'm going to grow this one out and hopefully I can find another purple later. If she smokes good. I love the look tho;
a255.jpg

The Church is really starting to take off. Getting alittle yellow bout now;
church76.jpg

I didn't insert the name but this is a Star-47. She's filling in nicely;
IMG_65536.JPG

I also took one of these with her trichomes starting to pop out all over. Nice smell in the mornings. Plants always smell better in the mornings. And a lot stickier I myself believe it's best to cut a plant early in the day. Sunrise or a hour after when all this smells are at the peak.
ck10.jpg

Well that's it for now. Thanks everyone for stopping in and I hope all's gardens are green and Keepem Green

Damn rain.......... Looks like I'm going to have problems with this water.... Found two spots of damn rott already. I'm going to try some new shit this year,,, I already gave all my soil a drenching early this year and just gave them a booster dose today. But the stuff is a bacterium... I'm guessing it is what it sounds,and botrytis is air born,,, the package says aids with bud rott, how does a drench work on a foliar mold? But I'm going to spot spray the wounded area and see if it works like bactine. If they still make it.
Well thanks everyone for taking a peek.
Right now I kind of have a disarray of plants going. I am going to work on some auto seeds, it's just I have to keep a flower room going 12/12 for product and I really wood like to flower the auto's atleast 18-20 hours on for them to do 100%. And all I have for veg is a 4X4 and a 2X4< tent for clones seeds etc. Right now I'm going to be empting the flower room in the next few weeks. I'll figure it out but for now I'm just looking at what these auto are going to do. IF I find a outstanding looking one I'll play with it for pollen.
That purple one is pretty interesting. These breeders have a 100% purple strain, so I'm pretty sure I'll get another out of their grab bag of seeds.
Here's afew more of what I got vegging out there. I have like 5 or 6 more auto's out there.
kids54.jpg

and,
kids117.jpg

Well I'm outta here for a minute, hope all's gardens are doing great out there and Keepem Green

Sorry for mold. I have more problems with bud worms though, I have to go and inspect the plants again. Rain has finished and it looks like we're gonna have some more African air for a while. That'd be perfect for end of September gals. I usually discard any strain that catches mold, and get something else for the next season.

Hey Wood! Sorry about the rot/mold! :thedoubletake: I had some a couple years ago, but have been lucky since. It is getting close to time to take my revegging HYBID girls down along with the little one I thought was. The girls have really packed on the trichs and checking them with the scope says it is about time. :yahoo:

The three girls that were from seed will be finishing in three or four weeks. My Trailor Trash volunteer will be the last of my outdoor girls to come down. My indoor P-ROC in hydro I will be moving to the outdoor storage in a week or so. Already showing little flowers everywhere. :slide:
I also have 5 clones from them starting to pop roots out. I'll get them transplanted in a week or so. I am planning to keep the healthiest as my mother plant so I won't have to pop some beans for a while:cheesygrinsmiley: Keep 'Em Green my friend!
HOZ:peace::hippy:
:volcano-smiley:

Hozona I have acouple out there that almost look close. Take this Cheese, she covered with thumb sized solid nuggets. This bud is off the lowest branch. You can see the hair are slightly burnt at the tips, this is from the rain we've been having. But this girls is still 50% cloudy. But I know she has acouple more weeks to get where she'll work abit on the head. Here's a Cheese variant;
c193.jpg

Ok here's a weird one. One of the auto's,,, if you can see she started off producing 1 branch instead of two. And that's the first errrr set? And she really has a strange growth pattern. Going to be a interesting plant. Could it be one I flip? We'll see. I know I should throw ALOT of seeds out to do plant selection, but what I'm doing is seeing what they do in general,,, then I'll be able to remember certain traits expressed in the next. But look at the first leave set from the feeder leafs;
a256.jpg

and she even had some mutant leaves growing. What wood one call this?
a1104.jpg

Conradino, I use to have problem with worms. Use to. One spraying 2-3 weeks before harvest and they just disappear... Hope they get the bugs out before harvest.. No pun intended..
I do have another branch my Critical Kush gave up to breakage. Almost looks pretty;
ck14.jpg

Now here's one I grew inside. I kept her down to about 6-8" and got a miserable yield but I got a prime sample anyways. About a 1/2 oz is all. Head stash;
la59.jpg

la121.jpg

and
la218.jpg

Well thanks all for looking in. I'm off to reorganize my veg and nursery. Pretty soon I have to cut clone too. I plan on cutting afew off the Space. She's a solid bush. I have topped her 3-4 times already and plan on hitting her once more for the most cuts I can get. Hope all's gardens are green. Keepem Green

Thanks Wood! I appreciate the good info!:high-five:

a1104.jpg
Had caterpillars that were all over one of my plants. They were hiding inside my buds or hatched after I harvested them :thedoubletake:Imagine my surprise when I opened the jar and found the little critters! NOT GOOD!
HOZ:peace::hippy:
:volcano-smiley:

Bummer Hoz. I use to grow some rather large crops way back when, I did that in Arkansas, Missouri, and Indiana. And I mean some rather large ones. You'd be surprised what crawls outta a couple hundred pounds of herbs. It's scary. I can only imagine what crawled outta them Mexican fields, and we was getting in our bricks of commercial...... I lost afew nice plants once to 'bag worms'. Suckers made a tent over the whole plant. I had to shit can those girls was soo many eating my buds up. Treat the leaves with a bacteria culture of this and the worm eats it and he's dead. Works on the plant for up to 3 weeks. I spray mine 3-4 weeks before harvest on a nice cooool morning so the spray will dry pretty fast to coat the leaves.
Hey Brightlights,,,, should make for a nice bush. I've had afew tri leafers, but they all grew out of it, and a friend on here had two complete plants outta a single seed. 'God's Trichomes' was his id. Forget what they finished up like tho. A lot of plants mutate. But that's the first I heard of a quad..... Going to have to keep up on her.
OK a fast update,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, I have a small tour of the flower room first. This baby has to be one of the most fragrant strains I've grown in awhile. And great to see what se will do in Chronic's hydro setup compared to soil. If hydro does better damn I want a joint CHH. This one has acouple more weeks and yet she's really getting a strong sweet smell. This has to be one of the most complex smeller I've grown since on 420. Dela-Haze;
dh9.jpg

Ok I have a HSO's Blue Dream going also. Nice plant. I can see a 4 oz yield off her. But I could've done better but I have had days I couldn't crank the wattage up for a lot of days, due to the heat factor. I'm still hoping Santa will leave the use of a certified Oregon Electrician's usage for acouple days in my stocking. Then I could throw me a split air unit in the flower room and run with the 'bigger' boys. I've been meaning to do a upgrade since I moved here with Miss J. The house has been maxed out at the box due to the pool/ac/me.... And I need to grow into a Me atleast to be able to run all I need. I couldn't throw 4 1000 watter up without taxing all other power. I can hit 3,000 without problems for now. Oh well babble babble. Here's the BD;
bd69.jpg

Sorry for the HSP lights but ya know, I'm lazy. Here's a Skunk variant. Better yield than the Blue Dream I think, but isn't yield a quality of most Skunks? It's the building block for most strains period. But most Skunks I've found in seed form, well fair to middling in the quality smoke department. Not that that one nice one might show up stinking to high heavens. Isn't this one, least yet;
s56.jpg

Also have a tiny ass plant I got going from the Jack Herer plant. She's close to harvest. Hope I get a 1/2 oz off this little thing of 12".
jh27.jpg

Last go of the Cripit;
c194.jpg

and I don't have a name for this one. I could only guess it's purple kush from Buddha seed's grab bag. The few pic's the site offers fit's to a tee. Man if she keeps this up, might be a plant worthy of a pic or two for my desktop. We'll see if she rank a contender for a contest. Never know, 420 started giving away perks that might be worth it. I got a feeling this is going to be one to watch;
pk18.jpg

Well I first thought of trying breeding on some autos, I was haunted by stories of 3-5 gram plants. And we already know that auto strain was one close to hemp in quality. Well last I cut was 1 1/2 OZ's of about 15% THC herbs. I haven't tested it through a lab, just tested using my Family Guy rating system. Works for me...................................But the last few Auto's I've seen and grew all yielded atleast a OZ and acouple did 3 oz's. Not bad from a 70 day plant.........A person did it right here in Portland, he 'could' get there crops in planted at the right time. But I took this pic to show the size these girls are getting and the branching structures. I enjoy the extra week some veg because it helps the yield along. Right now we have 12/12 sun outside. And that 12 sun is over half shade so I took my atuo's that are flowering and put them in my flower room. I figure 12 hours of intense light is better than 6 good hours and 6 indirect light.
These girls are just to see the sizes and branch structures of acouple I got going;
a1105.jpg

a257.jpg

Well I'm outta here. And need fire a question,,,, please do. If I can't help I might be able to steer you over to one who knows.
Portland weather sucks. Keepem Green my Friends...........
