A friend has some noticed some mold on buds in his jar. Is there a way to recover the bud and wash it off? Is the bud safe to smoke? If not, what can he do with it?

Vermiculite will also retain some nute's and release as plant need's it and help's young plant's have something to grab and hold on to.

oh and vermiculite is a porous volcanic byproduct, capable of nutrient and cation exchange whatever that is maybe its a typo

I think once it's moldy it's bad bud no matter what you do to it.
