And are there any suggestions to help combat this problem? I've been dropping ice bags in it when I get a chance. Several times a day.

Maintianing a temperature of 65°-70° Fahrenheit is best for a hydroponic system. Low temperatures will slow growth and limit the plants ability to uptake nutrients. Too high of temperature can cause a bloom of undesirable bacteria in the reservoir.
