My First Time: AK47 & Gold Bar Kush

I guess it has been a couple weeks since I posted. I made it home from snow country then made another trip up there. I'm ready for summer to get here.

It has been 7 1/2 weeks since I switched the lights to 12/12 and she is looking like she's almost ready. I'm not sure if I should wait a while longer for her pistils to fade more or go ahead and chop her. I'm expecting a magnifier for my camera soon so I can get a better look at the trichs but don't know if it will arrive in time.

From just pistils, she looks like at least another week.

It wouldn't be horrible to harvest now, but it looks like she is bulking up (foxtailing) and with my strains that means the trichomes aren't turning yet.

She might add 10 grams of bud weight in the next few days.

p.s. I copied your whole post, so it looks like you double posted again :)

The ladies wanted their pictures taken again tonight.

We had brownies for dessert. It made me think of the ones that Sue makes.

Were they medicated brownies? :hugs:

I haven't made any edibles yet. So far it had just been smoking, canna capsules, pain cream, and eating some bud at bed time. Lol

Maybe life will slow down a little soon and I can do some cooking. That'll have to be next week though. This week I'm on an island off the coast of Florida. Its so beautiful and relaxing here.

I've been lazy about getting on here to post updates between being busy and not having time to learn where things are on the new site. I'm growing a blue dream right now. Just switched her to flower last week.

MrGreene........ Stunning! That first picture would make a good entry into the photo contest, you know. :battingeyelashes: :green_heart:

The 'less stunning' photo puts this as one of your tallest girls yet. Good luck with that! Should be nice :p

I'll be looking in here again for sure . You have a cool setup and I'm intrigued with the flood lights. Power usage spectrum fields and how much yieldnthey can produce. I'm just to tired to read 30 pages right now lmao.. 29 to go though lmao

@MrGreene So that's it? Why has the thread come to a halt? What's in your tent? Share some pictures. :Namaste:

The tents have been looking pretty sad for a few months. Not checking pH caused a lot of problems. Beez mentioned it several times before I got around to checking. The water coming out of the faucet had changed and was up to 9.2 and causing nutrient lockout. A half spoon of vinegar per gallon is all it takes to get the pH down to 6.5. That seems to have corrected all the nutrient problems I was chasing. Some of the girls won't recover but are still producing some bud.

Right now there are four Columbian gold in flower. Two have lost most of their leaves from the pH problems and the other two recovered somewhat before going into flower. I've been trying out a growant light for a while. It wasn't quite enough for this 32" tent so I reinstalled cobs at three corners to help out. I'll probably switch back to all cobs in the near future.

The veg tent is still showing signs of suffering too. The little Columbian gold clones and the blue dream come have struggled but seem to be pulling through...... Except for the one I forgot to water. Lol. There's a Northern Lights x DDA in the front left that was started from seed a couple weeks ago and a GeoatoOG in the back right that was recently figured to me. She will get topped soon and will be the subject of seed experiments. There's also a couple of small blue dream reveg on the back left. I'll cut those down if the clone makes it.

Oh. The mini fridge is almost always stocked. Blue dream has been on a constant rotation of clones. I have so much here that I'll probably stop growing her for a while soon. Right now there's a small blue dream on the top shelf that I treated with colloidal silver starting a week before she went into flower and continued most of the way through flower. I'll tear it apart tonight looking for seeds since it's dry. The other two shelves are Columbian gold that have a few more days before going into jars. There's brownies on the left side of the door, capsules up top, oils for capsules and brownies down low. There's also butter next to the beer.
