Mmmmick 288W LED Development SCROG White Widow

Thats good OMM. Definitely a good thing that you can have a peaceful relationship with your ex.

The regen is being done mainly to see how long it takes etc. I do have a healthy clone (15")of that particular plant. I took one clone of each flowering WW. One died, one is now 15" tall and the third is still tiny and digesting bud, with no new growth yet. All cut at the same time.

Mmmmick, I reveged my first white widow since I had no clue on cloning at the time, took her 32 days to regen under 18/6, then she looked like a real glossy house plant with single leaves.

This is a photo from 1 week after I saw she started to regen, she had just started putting out her jagged leaves.

Hi BC, seems 4-6 weeks should do the trick. I went 24/0 with mine under 30w flouro after 36 hours dark. Not sure if the dark period speeds things up at all.

Hey Bud This is interesting to say the least.....just use em over and over.
Hope the original buds were good. Be watching what happens. :morenutes:

Added: Wonder what the roots are doing?

High Mick,

Wish I'd read your regeneration deal earlier. I chopped the scrog with out ever getting any decent clones, dang. Hmmmmm, the root balls are still in perlite, and there are a couple of leaf sites left, plus it is halloween... zombie weed! :tokin:

:peace:

Hi OMM, sorry for the late response, I've been out of town most of the week.

I did the regen because most of my clones died off in the heat this summer and I had already cleaned up most of the growth under the screen, leaving nothing much to use for more clones. So I thought I'd try a regen to get a handle on the process and timing involved. I tried it on both of the widows I chopped and one of them didn't make it. Probably because I didn't leave much on that plant to keep it going. The survivng clone happens to be from the surviving regenned plant so the regen is just for the exercise now. I'll keep it long enough to take at least one round of clones instead of chopping up the survivor. I don't plan to flower the regenned plant again.
I'll comment on the start of the rootball when I cut that one after cloning. These plants have been on the go so long that I don't think they are representative of the bags performance but hopefully the next round will tell me whether the bags help at all.

High Horse, you might have enough green left to get a regen going. I put them in darkness for at least 36 hours then under low light until they start to show single leaf growth then give them more light.

I've only been able to use my friends computer for web mail most of the week (didn't want to leave a browser history) so I haven't made the rounds lately. I'll be over to see how your chop went.

OK! Mmmmick I get the idea now...clones will be good and you'll kind of have something in the bank to grow. Makes sense to me. Actually nice thinking on your part! :surf:

hi mate....great news your regen is bouncing back.......what are your plans for your next grow ?....i agree with the tabbaco smoke going into your grow space slowing things down......glad you have fixed that prob.....with everything pretty much ironed out in your grow space you should be looking forward to another run ?.....if your contenplating new seeds i can highly recomend white rhino......heavyest buds ive ever seen...let me know your thoughts mate......take care.......weedtastic

hi weedtastic, yep it's good to know at least one of the original widows is still around. I don't know how much impact the tobacco smoke had but combined with less than ideal airflow it was probably significant.

I have some ww and mango from seed that I'm sexing. They'll be at least part of the next round. I'd like to run both strains again for comparison sake. But I might run
a set of Rocklock clones first, depending on how quickly the widows and mangos show sex.
Other strains on hand are Rocklock, Cheese, a Haze autoflower, all femmed. Also an Afghani landrace regular seed and a Y2K clone.
I've got the Rhinos on my list for a future seed buy but it may be a while. I want to grow out some of what I have on hand first. I'll be over to catch up on your grow. I bet they are looking pretty sweet.
Thanks for dropping in, my friend.

The last of the Mangos came down today. I had hoped the buds would tighten up given a bit more time but they are on the airy side. Smells better than any of the other plants from this grow.

195g wet with a finger trim. Figuring 25% as dry weight brings the total for these 6 plants to 240g and a couple of handfulls of popcorn.

Nice pull, Mick. The papaya sounds delicious :ganjamon:

Which LED are you running? And, have you decided who goes under the screen next?

:peace:

Thanks Horse, the Mango/Papaya is quite tasty. Should be better with a few tweaks to the grow/temps.

I still don't have a name from the supplier yet. At this point I don't know if the plan is to sell this design or if timing is shot due to the duration of the grow. I should get a few details sometime soon, I suspect.

I'm gonna take a couple of weeks to do a couple of tweaks to the cabinet and disinfect the room as much as possible, then I'll decide then what strains to run. I'll probably include the WW and maybe Rocklock or Y2K. I'd prefer to run the Mango and widow again but none of my Mango clones survived and regens take too long. They'll come up again after this next run.

Congrats my man, that sounds like a few mason jars worth. Can't wait to get to this point. Good show my dear boy! :reading420magazine:

Thanks sisco, I'll get a shot of the stash when the last of the plants are dry.

You'll be chopping before you know it.:thumb:

:thanks:
