Mars Hydro SP 3000: Just Released! SP 250 & TSL 2000 Comparison Grow

UPDATE: Now we are finally getting somewhere. With the final run looking like this
Fast Buds testers #8 ,#9 and #10
Sweet seeds Amnesia Haze , Afghani Delicious and Red hot Cookies.
Originals Sensible Seeds, Black Ghost o.g
And Im hopeful 2/3 Zamnesia C Banana. The newly bathed and cracked seeds look good to go but 1 has not done anything at all but got put into her cup in hope. The 2 with good tap roots are now in their cups too and under the new sp3000. The original, survivor Amnesia haze ,has also been up potted to a more spacey juice bottle pot !!. I have used the final 57L los pot to stand her in while she fills the smaller pot out and she looks so lost all alone in there.

The girls are all looking very happy and settled now but I want to get them into their next pots later. Keeping such a small amount of coco moist enough is a pain in the butt. I now feel I can happily say we are off finally......

Once they get settled in their next pot up , i will separate them between the sp250 and sp3000 for their next veg stage prior to final planting up. Their next cubes have been treated with biosys ready for their up potting and i am going to start amending the Los pots with ecothrive life-cycle and ecothrive charge and water them in with a good servi g of another biosys microbial tea. Now I feel like a grower again. Lol
Hope we are all doing well and coping with the times we are in. Be safe

Looking forward to when they grow up :yahoo:
Thanks Sara. Shouldn't be long. I domkike the dimmer function. Saves a lot of adjusting light heights. Seedlings seem to love it too. Thank you

Great line up, lots that I have not seen grown. Will be interesting. Cheers
Wasn't in my plan this run. I always have a variety and tried to get some the same for a change. Nature decided different. Lol
All adds to the fun.

Yes, with dimming, you don't have to adjust the height of the light

But if you want to increase the coverage of the light, instead of dimming the light, you can raise the hanging height of the light to grow more seeds

It also saves a lot of money on electricity :cheesygrinsmiley:
Even better. Lol just knowing I can lower the intensity so easily will be a great addition. I got stuck when previous run has been too intense and I was maxed out for height. The tsl would have been too difficult to lower power on during the grow so I had to constantly move the plants around and feed tons of calmag. I wanted some controlled genetics to showcase with but now will be a multi-strain thanks to heat wave losses. All looking a lot happier and starting to come together now. Thanks Sara

Morning Fellow growers and folks. It does seem that we are now a go. I repotted them all into their next homes and now have them settling in together with nicely moistened cubes wayerwd with Biosys. Temps here in the UK are fairly low again ( our usual rubbish summer!) so it it easier to keep them at the right place. I am hooing at todays light's on (6pm bst) that the C banana have shown themselves above the soil. Their new homes are waiting for them now. I am only using a very small clip on fan to move the seedlings a little and circulate a little air and the heat created by the new sp3000 isn't excessive at all No extraction is being done at all yet besides what escapes the tent naturally with a zipper partially open. At 75% power (225w) , there are no signs of stretching for light at all and even the more developed Amnesia is happy to go horizontal . Being able to go from seed to harvest on a single light and not have to switch out from my usual germination light is a bonus too. I have loaned one of my temp redundant tsl2000 to a friend who has now come back asking about filling his area out with led. I knew he would fall to the Marsian will if I tempted him. Another satisfied grower in the making. He wanted to buy it from me but I have refused but will help him to go through Sara hopefully.
All said and done I am happy with the progress finally.
Be safe and well growmies

What up GGGGGGGGGGGG?

Looks fantastic:)

Hi brother, hopefully be the case. The c banana are still not above soil yet. Never had a germ session so sad. Will be interesting to have more space laterally if I only get 2 in each nft. Will have to veg a little longer i think and go for multi tops maybe. Fimming and a bending into 5 way manifolds (Quads+1.lol). Be strange to have so much space initially and all that light to use. I do think 2 each in the NFT could work very well too. Had a scare a few days back when I heard the chopper over the house, looked out the back door and saw the pilot look directly at me and as he swooped round and landed behind my fence on the children's park behind the house

I was very relieved to read the markings as it swooped in. Some old fella had issues. They came back again about an hour later !!. Nerves were a wreck lol.
Looks like 7 happy girls to throw at this grow now and thankfully 1 from each of the sweet seeds strains. Had an offer from RQS i am pursuing now too. Let's see what this can throw up.
Have a good one buddy
LOLLLLLL

I had a similar experience, in hindsight the popo must have been looking for someone, and they had their chopper out flying low and hovering. I swear it was right above my house where I had 2 x 6 foot plants growing outside.

I called my partner in a panic!

Me: There is a police helicopter hovering just above the plants, it’s so low, what do I do?

Him: I don’t know who this is.. you have the wrong number

LOLLINGGG

Thankfully he talked me off the ledge with his “why would the government waste those kinds of resources on finding your two ratty plants?” logic because I swear I was seconds off axing them and dumping the bodies!

Lol , I get that one for sure. Sadly so many scrotes in our area rhe police chopper is a regular round here too. I use an anti f.l.i.r sheet on my roof so they can't see the grow at night but it still has me twitching sphincter muscles as it buzzes over. Lol
So many close calls and near misses over the last few decades too. Lol Always worth it though.

I do hare this phase of the grow. So slow with sod all ro do but wait. The last 2 seeds have done sod all either so it looks like 7 is the magic number for this run.
Here they are from last night . Settling down after the repot now
