I removed the lid and have set a small fan to move some air around . The intake is blowing cooler air but hardly enough to cool the whole room. One of the issues of loft growing too. All that trapped heat in the eaves. I do have thermal sheeting to deflect roof tile heat but the attic is like an oven a..d hard to stop the front of 5he tent allowing heat in. Will need some thinking about as summer heats up. They did look a little happier with the lid off before I left them . The supplies arrived too now so I van fhinknabout up potring to their 1st home and try the new coco cubes too. I have alson only bought 3inch rockwool cubes for the nft to see if I can get them rooted up quicker to the mat than the big Hugo ones. Pixs will follow as intey them out too. Peace and blessings

She is a great sponsors rep here who has become part of the community itself now. They are brilliant ligjts and I really do rate them. Not because I won a comp but after lots of chat and discussion on the thread and seeing the results of them. I do think this new one is a winner too. Some new tech in there and not breaking the bank for prices . The ones I run already have been great.
The pud is ready now and just need some custard..lol

I'm enjoying it while it lasts! Working 5pm - 2am shifts these days so I try and get some sun before I'm locked up at work.

Wow thank you. I feel honoured mate. Hope your being more actively vocal now . We need more of our Celtic brothers to show some love here. Will come and jump aboard your highland fling too. Thankfully your not locked in during the worse heat time. Feel for all the folks who had no break during this scam. Soon be over with thankfully but been nice getting so much family time.

I hoped it would push to the peak and extact straigjt out but rhe collection is a pain.lol trying to insulate both ways since last year and built a silver thermal layer between the roof tiles ( and an anti-F.L.I.R sheeting !). So hard to keep the temps down in a closed environment. Lol

yeah i've thought about doing something similar with the same thoughts to collect the heat better
 
Day 6 and we are done !!!!!!!
Went to up pot as the lughts came on after a horrible hot day here. The room was 38°c , took my eye off the ball ( lots of family activity past few days!) , I walked into a cemetery of the dead and dying ....

This has been a partial screw up for using the old plugs and not getting up in between lights on to check. I only have 2 of the sweet strains seeds left so will pop them , I will be going through my stock to get a run set up again. Hold this page , I need some re-germ and medium thinking. I am going to soak seeds and drop them into starter cups of coco/potting soil and the nft will be in coco until put into the small cubes to root out. I am down but not out so please bare with me......

Quick update. Not all is lost yet!!!!! There is some death but amazingly some survival too. The "pudding girls" are hanging in there and the last to pop are holding their own
Last night I had given up so watered to the extreme with the sprayer, including the walls . Felt like a done deal but.... not so. Will still be popping some rescue seeds to fill any gaps tonight. Despair can mean the other set you have handy !!....

Haha thanks burdock , I hate losing totally to plants but it was my fault and using the plugs. They are old now and I should have waited for re supply of fresher ones. I will use coco to get them hatching this time. A few survivors will be hopefully hardy enough to get finished

I think the only area I have had zero drama when it comes to growing is seedlings.

I just used an old herb seed tray. Fill it with seedling mix, put seeds in 3mm deep, and lightly cover. Pop it in my morning sun spot outside, then I spray them with the hose. Usually 4 days later, they are standing green and proud, it’s after that point everything goes to shit for me!

Silly sod.lol Thankfully not the end of the world and I am kicking myself for not getting to them early enough . Seeing the 38°c was a killer too . Irony being that the weather has turned 180 now and its pissing it down and windy !!. This germination has been all surgery and rescue jobs prior to the suicide/plant slaughter. I think fate was telling me something !. Lol
Just need to decide on who gets germination now. I have 8 tester strains still to try out so will make a start on them. 1 of each would mean i know how they all grow out from the tests. There are 11 fast buds tester strains in total but not being able to identify them is a little inconvenient but if I grow them all the same way using the same methods , I can find d a keeper hopefully. They gave me 3 of each strain too so have a good stock to try and find one to seed from maybe . I was impressed with the last 3 I ran and their tastes too. All of their testers are well known strains that have been modified to flower faster . I have still got 2 seeds from the Sweet seeds left , which I need to run as I killed their others !!!. I will run another Gelato X too . Popping them in water today and going with the coco starter and into their second pot once roots are through a little. The surcicors are not worth the effort to keep going either i think but will leave them to do what they will while these germinate. Never down totally , just a trip !!. Keep on smiling

With you there mate. I reduced to 3 under each tsl when I got the sp250 and they filled that too.lol I am aiming for 6 under the tsl this run ( if I can get it going ever !!!) and 3 under each sp. Very capable lights all round too.

Yea for sure. You can see my setup and see that it easily makes it happen. 6 is perfect. I got 6 different strains next time.

Cheers DD. Am pissed at myself for such a schoolboy error but feel slightly better knowing I can at least replace them. Slight deviation from plan but still going forward. I did consider a rerun of a couple but do love a little excitement too so using the remaining testers will be useful and I can hopefully still get the last 2 sweet seeds up to satisfy that obligation. Thankfully being in the cured zone of last harvests bounty , also makes things easier to deal with .lol
Crazy busy over the last week still here with a house full everyday. People are now getting together again which is great but a pain in the arse for my growing life. Haha
