Mars-Hydro LED Grow Light Discussion

Think threads and stapler did the trick. I got most of them up from the floor and below the lamp again. Will be interesting to see what kind of yield I will get out of this room. The room is 320x160 cm and there is 2400 of watts in there

:thanks: :goodjob:
I will send your first picture to one grower who wants COB as supplyment, I advised him to use 300W or reflector 48, it is more economic

Efficiency is why I have the fushion board in there but pretty good power for its buck .

i have tried many different lights. HPS, HID, CMH and LED. I have owned a few LED's (Kind, Apollo etc) but i always prefer my Mars Hydro LED lights. Mars Hydro is an excellent company and i will always choose their lights over the competition.

:thanks: Most of our lights use Epistar chips as Kind, but much cheaper than Kind. I think this brand must have a strong marketing team and it is America brand, so many people know it.

Yes reflector does a good job for the space you promised so thank you mars hydro ..

Some good news first

It seems at least one of the big-bud clones will survive. I have sprouted 3 Jack Herer seeds to replace the clones that didn't make it. These will be grown under the COB in the small tent alongside with 4x Mars bar 24-60. Each 100 watt. That means this telt pulls 300 watts from the wall and it should perform as 350-400 watts compared to HPS is my guess. Let's see what the numbers are.

The bad news are that I flowered the 32 train wreck a week too late, so they first all grew up into the roof, and now they all have fallen over. If I don't get them up from there they'll eventually rot. So I have two choices. Use threads and staple them to the roof one by one. There's a lot of branches to staple. Second option is to do an emergency harvest 10 days before the planned harvest date. So how much weight would you think I loose by harvesting them 10 days early?

Your sprouted seeds will get powerful light :thumb:

This way will help you harvest more :thumb:

I ordered a COB and added it to my veg tent. I now have 1 400 and 1 COB in my 2x2 tent.

I am thinking that if Mar-Hydro put 4 COBs together on 1 board you could have a light that would cover a 5x5 area. That would have a huge potential for large scale grows IMHO. :circle-of-love::peace:

:thanks: We plan to produce larger COB this year. Will the small light be more flexible and convenient to use?
