Let's grow some Weed!

Thanks for that instruction Joe I'll remember it if it ever becomes a problem.....I use sterilized soil always unless your growing ane other kind of plant aside them and you bring them in......spider mites like to do that......good thread guys.....:Rasta::Rasta:

Oh I forgot I root in the clonex and plant in seedling soil for 2 weeks before they go into the hydro just wash all the soil out soak 15 minutes in B12 solution for transplant shock.....and plant them.:Rasta::Rasta::nicethread:

I know this will crack you up.... I have sterilized my soil in the microwave oven by giving the DAMP soil #3 4-minute bursts. Hell if anything can survive that they deserve to live...

I have also sterilized with a regular oven but that can really stink up the house... (my wife goes ballistic when I do that).:smokin:

Hey Joe,looking good. have you considered hempy buckets? It's a passive hydro setup thats very simple and hard to Fk up. I am just starting a hempy grow so can't say from experience but poeple seem to get great results, increased yield and they say it's faster. :peace:

I like the part that it's EASY.... I am still researching what kinda of hydro grow I will do in the near future.... The only criteria that I guess I need to consider is what kind of hydro grow will allow me to grow the biggest plant possible. I mean in physical size... I just like to grow indoor trees....

Thanks for the recipe! At one point I was thinking of hitting those Damm gnats with a Blow Torch....

I finally did get them under control but it was a war I was not willing to lose...

I learned a lot fighting those bast$%ds. ....

yeah man bugs can b a real pain iv bn lucky havn had any but where i live saw the recipe and wrote it down just n case

That's info worth knowing I tried a lot of remedies before I put the bug situation away (or in control) ... Several of the fixes did nothing at all and I spent a pile of money finding the right solution......

There is one thing that I should mention about growing with soil....
RULE #1 Sterilize all soil before use.....

A lot of grief would have been avoided on my part if I had done this....

Funny thing is that the bag that was contaminated was the most expensive bag of soil I have ever purchased.... So what does that tell you????

whats really hard is when the grow is finished remembering everthing u learned from that grow 3 months later ... when u start another grow

Joe coffee, would you agree that guano and manure are sterile? I actually get my soil real damp and leave em in heat in the dark in bags... they have mushrooms the next day and smells like shit... that is potent soil...I then loosely put the soil in my 3 gal pots before I transfer from the 8" pots. When it comes to hydro, you need to sterilize stuff so you avoid PH issues..

It's Germination time again folks!!!!!!!!!! Weeeee!
I have potted my clone and have now converted my heated mini greenhouse station for the purpose of germinating new seeds...
My first seed to germinate is the unknown indica bagseed.....
This is in preparation of a gift of a few killer seeds from a good friend who is shipping them to me as we speak!
I can't say "thanks" enough to my friend....

Guano and manure are most definitely NOT sterile.

Still good stuff though.

Lol! no doubt... My wife would shoot me... and I really mean it... she would shoot me if I tried to bring FRESH MANURE into the house... It could be the greatest thing in the world but it wouldn't happen here!!! LOL!

BANG! Bang! I'm Dead! LOL!

Hehe Joe, be careful the Guano might be the end of you. The exotic nature of the stuff might have more built-in repulsion than cow manure, though it probably stinks far less LOL.

The wife shares in the harvest though right? So she will probably let you live so that you can continue to work your magic. She might just harm you a little hehe.

Grats on new germs! Can't wait to see em. LETS GROW SOME WEED!
