Learn And Grow With Amos: A Pharmacy Garden For Emotional Healing

38p a KWH. 45p a day standard rate even if I decided not to use any electric. Alongside everything else that uses electricity about an extra £21 a week.

CMH unfortunately not an option at the mo mate. I lost everything financially during the pandemic and am getting back on my feet. I’m lucky I had some badass equipment from the good old days. I rent out tents, lights etc and take a quarter of the grow but even that is a new venture that hasn’t bore any fruits yet

whats the wattage of your hps grow bulb now? you got the hp sodium in the picture should use the metal halide bulb
for the veg... hp for bloom but u can do it all with the hps bulb..

Yay go Canada 🇨🇦 🍁 It’s tragic what’s happening here. I think that’s just under 100 of our pounds.

We don’t get charged on usage alone, size of house allows how much electricity you can have and what you get charged at.

1 bedroom house electricity charged at lower rate

3 bedroom house (ergo 3 people) charged at triple

Don’t know if it’s the same there. Poor families are on higher electric bills here as a lot of bill providers only have pay as you go option. Minimal savings to switch over but the principle still isn’t right

My government is happy to let in untold illegal immigrants (38k by boat this year so far) but let the rest of the country go to absolute pot. And we thought we were getting out country back with “Brexit”

The mini budget this week that was meant to help kickstart the economy has left many of us speechless.

I would be better off setting sail in a dinghy further down the coast, drifting back in and pretending to be an Albanian. I work 60 hours a week for absolutely no gain at the mo.

Supercropped the 2 taller plants in the middle row. Had to do the one on the left again as she’d managed to pop straight in the darkness.

Got some nice bushy plants, looking forward to flowering soon

Thank you Bill 🙏

All good my end, had a lovely peaceful Sunday with the family. Went and took some sunset pics on my dog walk. Took a little portable vape with me and just enjoyed an Autumn evening

So had a tiny bit of clawing yesterday, thought it was due to being near the intake so had a shufty about and diverted the air coming in away from that plant.

No yellowing so don’t think it’s a nute problem. Wind or heat and i I believe it’s turned out to be HPS’ nemesis in the form of a heat spot.

Have had a “fun” few hours trying to angle ducting and fans to get a better air flow. Think I’ve got it right, has dropped from 29 to 25’c and been steady for a while.

Thought a cold snap was coming but 13c tonight and through til morning.

Had a bit of good news, lightbulb is coming earlier than expected. Don’t know if the heat spot has been created by a light on its way out but happy either way. New bulb can only be a good thing.

Been really therapeutic being dans le jardin this evening. Was almost glad for the problem and time it gave me away from the world. Had one of them days but managed to grab it by the balls and get stuff done and tomorrow looks like it’s going to be a good one 🤟👍🙏

Looking good Joe. :thumb:

The leccy bills are a pisstake aren't they. My provider told me my direct debit needs to be £297 a month. I told them where to go, cancelled my direct debit and just pay by card for what I've used each month. Last bill was £186.

If you need to go to LED I have a NextLight Core sat doing nothing and could help you out. Maybe a little underpowered for a 4x4 though.

Thank you VS, that’s very kind of you. I’m going to switch over to LED for the warmer months. At the mo having the HPS running is a win win, it’s going to pay for itself in the long run and keeping us warm 😂

Thanks for stopping by mate, always nice to bump into a fellow Brit on here 👍🤟

Have you got anything going on at the mo?

Thank you Bill 🙏

Lol. It’s the Thames Estuary/North Sea. I’ll take the cali compliment though, will tell the local tourism board 😂

I’ve only lived here for a year and a bit. Got made homeless in the pandemic and got placed here by council.

Lived in London all my life up until then. The world works in mysterious ways. Happier than I’ve ever been 🤟

Hi Jo, or should I say neighbour  - over the water mate

When I switched to LED to save power, I went through some quite expensive branded ones - hmmm...
But guess what I'm using now? 2 x 120w cheapo lamps lamps with veg/bloom switches, so min is 60w red or blue, both lamps on max is 240w, only needed for a few weeks
I use 60w blue for seedlings, 120w blue to cover as they get bigger then whack the reds on too at the start of 12/12
Also only veg at 14/10, dropping to 13/11 week or so before flip
It's a pretty economical setup
