Johnnystackz’s Clone Wars

11 plants in how big of a space? Remember not to overcrowd man. How many clowns can you fit in a VW Beetle?
True, but I should free up space soon. A few weeks with dark and lsd then we are gona harvest and we got one whole other side of the tent plus the middle 5ftx5ftx8ft

3 hatched one almost hatched but needed more water as the tap got way to dry so i put her in a peat pod for moisture. Shes almost popped out now too! On other one seemed to be dry to so I decided to damp her down a little for now.

Yeah, in the small containers ya have to watch the moisture. I do the small ones just like I do the big ones. Throw water in the tray n let them soak a short period since there's no much medium. Then drain the pan.
Good to see the new life. Always a welcome site.

Going to switch the three into cups in a few mins so the get some breathing room!

They do outgrow the small commercial type starter trays fast. I've found 16oz cups do a great job.

Yeah the solo cups are pretty nice. I put the tray in water for their feeds until cup to get a good long root started. Normally it will go to the bottom hole where the water is sitting in the dome

Hoping for some more new clones in the morning, ill be waiting with my coffee :nomo:
Nothing better than sitting on a stool in front of your grow with coffee n a nice doobie or bowl. So how often do you check the time when it's near lights on time? Lol.

Im up at the crack of dawn with my babies. Im brewing their water or feed during that time so I just flip the switch once and dont look back lol otherwise im in their till noon

Hey @johnnystackz, this might be a silly question but why are the leaves trimmed on some clones? Seriously, I have no idea. :hmmmm:

Great resource for those of us who can't resist a experiment! :nerd-with-glasses:

Well hello and welcome to clone wars @Konks Dirt Empire ! So when we make these cuts on the clones or soon to be clones this forces the plant to focus on the rooting structure of growth vs vegetative or plant like growth. Without making these cuts the plant will limp and often not do as well with rooting. So cut the leaves and dont forget to base the stalk with rooting gel. I use common aloe vera nothing else. This is the best rooting gel to use for me as you can see it supplys good roots if you base them well. Keep in mind you can use aloe for any rooting, honestly the best in my opinion.

@Konks Dirt Empire
Keep in mind when you make clones to make a 45 degree angle cut or kindly use a ravor blade to make this cut more defined giving more potential for rooting. I skipped that in the video as i made those cuts prior to the video and gave them a quick cut with the blade

Love it, i would have left and forgotten what I went for lol!

I have broken pieces off of my random bag seed plant, cut the piece on an angle, dipped in rooting powder and thrown them in soil. I haven't intentionally made clones, but my pieces have grown.
I've seen cloning on the forum but never seeked out how it is done, thank you!

Aloe Vera...nice alternative. I've never used that before. I'd heard of using honey. Nice explanation. Cloning is a must learn thing for us weed growers. It can turn a small grow into a jungle in no time and helps us preserve and continue on with plants that produce...heavy resin, rapid growth, resistance to disease...blah blah blah...mother plants too.
