Jack Herer & Panama Red In Doc's Hi Brix

It's very important to make sure you don't try to run dormant soil....frustration upon frustration.

If you can keep it over 65 for two weeks, take the lid off and let it dry out. Stir it around and then re-wet it with warm water and a splash of Tea, cover for another week, use the electric blanket, insulate the floor......and you can do it.

Thanks soo much doc, that is more doable when I'm ready, I'm going to get totes and bring the soil up to my house, wife won't be too happy but she will get over it. That's great info for getting my soil ready.

All I have to say is that you dont even want to see my car.. That's bad..
 Man i am the same way there too. i try and keep vehicles real clean when I first get them and then over time they look like a rolling closet/landfill.

When I still had a spare bedroom I would bring my totes up stairs and put them next to the heater. They cooked reeeaaalll well that way :)

Since were out away from the city we have 100 acres, there's no gas hookups for natural gas, our heat source is a pellet stove which I love and we turn it off at night or at least turn down to 65. Our house usually gets as cold as outside at night, I prefer it on the cooler side. But if I have the soil up here I can have the wife keep the electric blanket on

It gets real cold out here in the winter and we have to heat with oil. It sucks. I am over the snow already this year! Man i would love to live on 100 acres! I have been trying to find a large parcel of land to hunt on around me :)

Its a blessing and a curse, especially when water pipes under ground break in the middle of the night during a rain storm.. That's when they love to break :)
Sometimes we get pigs on our property, when we do Ill go out and get one. That six having to heat with oil, look into pellet stoves, I love them

Finished transplanting, started flower as well I adjusted my heater a bit higher, took clones and sprayed with destress, my question is how often can I spray with destress? Also I sprayed the tops pretty heavily

The low temp at night in my flower room is 63, should I bump it up to 68 ? I'm going to flower today and take clones and upcan. Lights on cycle starts at 2pm so I will do everything during that time, pics coming later

Looking good Calic! Yes definately bump it up to 68. Temps that low are going to cause problems. They're gonna take off! :high-five:

Once a week is max on DeStress right now, because your soil life isn't quite up to form due to the low temps, so if you spray them too much you'll get salt buildup. Get those temps in the right range and you won't want to spray Destress.

Environment.

All I can think of as I read the "environment" part is the dude with the crazy hair on Ancient Aliens as he says "Aliens" :laughtwo:

Thanks doc, I was actually asking about destress for clones, my night temps are now 70, I turned up the heater after I saw that, its an oil filled heater and takes a bit to warm, I also adjusted the temp when it comes on at from 70 to 74 to account for the slow warm up time. I'm good now, I just had to do some final dialing in. I checked on my plants today and even at lights out they were very perky, hopefully no lag with these but so far so good

Here's some pics, they are very happy, even the jack herer (middle of group) is perking up, which it has never looked that way before. Humidity is pretty steady at 50% lowest is 47% highest is 56%. High temp is 82, I will have low in a couple days. Evidently it takes a couple days to reset. I need to ring a temp monitor that resets every 24hr

Doc, I'm still having issues with leaf discoloration, new growth is OK, its all the growth under them, its seems its just sucking the nutrients out of them. I've seen other brixers plants look like this, is this common? I'm thinking im going to do a super drench, not sure if I should do GE or super drench. They are due for transplant this next watering. My lows are 72 at night, highs are 84. I'll get pics tomorrow. Also it seems to only be the panama red, jack herer and blue dream seem a bit better off. I'll keep a close eye to see for sure.

LIke I said earlier (I think I said this) feed on the heavy side.

Super Drench sounds great for these.

Could you post a non-blurple picture of these discolored leaves? they all look pretty good to me.

I will post some pics when I go back to the room tomorrow. They don't look too bad, they just die off a bit sooner than I'm used to. I also emailed breeder for more specific info on growing this strain as well, great people so far..

Hmmm....going back over things a couple things stand out:

1. You only recently corrected your temps. New growth, not old will show the changes. Old growth may improve, but necrotic spots will not.
2. Super Drench is fine for the next feeding, especially if they're scheduled for Transplant. PURE WATER after the Super Drench! (once they need it)
3. I recommend pruning off the lower stuff anyways, now is a good time to do so.
4. They look pretty good overall....going forward please consider going 1.5x on feedings.

Be patient. It's only been a short while since other corrections were made. Now you understand the importance of getting the roots established ASAP, and that's going to help going forward. You're following the DarkScotia journal, right?
