Guys for what it's worth, that didn't happen to me at all. My post got found out when I alerted the staff that my journal was completed. Then I guess they looked through it and found the post. No one has ever reported any of my posts and I feel like people have really appreciated the information that I put out. That's why even though posts get taken down, I refuse to give up and abandon the site. From now on I will just send links through private messages only, unless that isn't allowed either.
All of this string of nonsense actually had nothing at all to do with your situation. It was about me! Me personally. I've had a few post reported and figured I could relate to the discussion. Everything taken out of context turned it into a nightmare.
Again... apologize to anyone offended. I love the people here and think of this as an amazing community of like minded folks.
It is certainly better than Roll It Up dot org, let me tell you. I watched a guy repeatedly over fertilize his plants until they finally hermied trying to survive, then he proceeded to trash the breeder saying that their genetics were terrible. I was at the other 4 big forums before I came here, after the first day this was home. I was greeted by Duggan, Amadeus Forzin, Rich Farmer, Stinky Snid and a couple others and I've never looked back!

I also like how people don't talk shit to each other and put each other down here. If I make a mistake, people always help me without trying to make me feel stupid. That goes a long way with me.

My biggest problem was not wanting to look like a failure and not posting when I had problems. How stupid is that.
I tried to do that when I first started. I would go into the new growers forums and answer as many questions as I could, and then I ended up with 35 journals I was trying to keep up with. It didn't work out too well. LOL I ended up being behind like 15 to 20 pages LMAO.
Oh yeah I've done that too. LOL

Find someone old school that's did what you want to do and hang out.
I know right? And also, I'm always learning stuff when i read peoples journals. For example, PW said in his journal recently that he doesn't start counting the flowering period until he sees the first pistils. I was counting it from the day I flipped the switch. It makes more sense to do it his way because sometimes it can take a week before the plants even respond to the switch, then you may find yourself trying to harvest too early.
And never trust what the breeders say about flower time.

First I want to let you know that I am at Cedars-Sinai ER with my dad rather than heading up the coast as planned. Ankle infection and they're admitting him any second. I'm not sure if I can leave him here and go away because there are specific institutions I seem to need to give to every shift when he's in. Such is life.
Anyway, beyond that I want to address the conversation I've missed. I'm fine with all discussions and dread silence from any of my friends here. I also dislike innuendo, maybe because I'm a New Yorker. If someone has something to say to someone else, please say it, but in a non-accusatory way. Civility and honesty at the same time.
I have had my hand slapped any number of times, mostly for off topic photos and videos, or links to amazon products. I always wonder if I've been reported or of it was just spotted by a mod. Either way, I say sorry to Teddy and move on. I've stopped posting direct links to amazon but the rest seems too stifling to give up. In case you couldn't tell from my posts on the topic I tend to bristle at anything I consider misplaced authority.
I know nothing about concrete but man the sucks Retrix! Hell of a lot of work to redo.
You all are a great group and I appreciate what each and every one of contributes on my page as well as the rest of the site. I miss this place when I'm not here and you're all the reason.

Conradino was the first to welcome me and pennywise stayed with my first journal from start to finish, with heaps of encouragement and help and I appreciate it so much.
I feel a bit hurt that an inference was made to me being a teachers pet to the mods (among other things). They were hurtful things to imply, and unfounded. I have never reported a post of yours Preston, man. If anything I’m a pain in the arse to the mods because I’m sometimes on their back to deliver some of the things that were promised during the change over. So yes, I have some communication with the mods, possibly more than most - but I’m nobody’s pet, and my comms with them are nearly always in the service of making things better for the membership, us. I desperately wanted to walk away and not respond to the inferred slur, but it’s so far from true, and hurtful, that I had to answer it more directly, even if it did come at me kind of sideways.
We obviously feel very much the same way about the forum and the friends were making here so Preston, if you have something to take up with me in the future (or with any member perhaps) can you maybe come a bit more directly at it? Like, just ask me.
