I saved and downloaded the welcoming page. One of the seeds is gonna be surfacing today. The big seed took I a little more time to pop. It'll be surfacing probably tomorrow ish. My seeds are popped.

Super excited for you all, appears to be a really fun grow off!

Just wanted to say this once, so it has been said, and you all can please help me spread the word if needed.

As you know, these grow offs are reserved for our sponsors. To avoid any drama or confusion, we like to be the ones to organize them and get them going. It would be a tragedy for someone to get everyone excited about one, then have to shut it down for some reason and have everyone upset. For these and many other reasons, we ask that you please always get approval from management, before starting a competition like this, so that we can all be on the same page.

With that said, let's get this party started!

The mackerel and kelp were not in the dirty dozen kit but, it is on the feed schedule, and I have been using both, and am happy with them.
I also use the bembe, beastie blooms, cha ching, and open sesame. I do swap out the cha Ching for beasty blooms in the final weeks as it seemed the nitrogen was fueling growth while I was wanting them to finish up, causing foxtails (coulda been the light).
I also cut the microbe brew to once a week and replaced the other application of it with fish shit. One to add microbes and the other to feed them.
I’m also not doing the sledgehammer flushes according to schedule. The fish shit is supposed to act to break down salt buildup so I’m hoping I can get away without it. I’ll probably still flush with sledgehammer sometime before harvest.

Now that I’m doing the sip thing, I’m back to liking the fox farms regimen. I have some slight tip burn, and a little leaf edge burn but, it’s not bad and hasn’t gotten worse, and isn’t widespread. Only on one plant so, I’m going to stick with it until I have a reason not to.
Just picked up a couple big bottles of the main 3part.
The only other thing I’ve had to use is their cal mag… I still can’t figure out why these plants crave calcium so bad and so early. My purple panty droppers did the same deficiency thing as my bananas. So, from now on, they will get cal mag from the start.

Imo, the weed produced by the FF system tastes better than a lot of other nute weed does. You can almost tell the Fox Farms taste. More natural to me. As far as calmag, I don’t know, but I’ll tell you that in my experience, if one is growing autos, the autos seems to chew through it a lot faster. No idea why that would be but it is apparent over and over again.

Good that you make this point Rob, because while I know dude did ask management first when we did our grow off, I wouldn’t have known to do that. It’s not the most readily apparent thing one thinks about so the clarification is a good thing.

I guess so I figured everyone has been pretty busy with life stuff, and I haven't done much so I hope it will work for us all.? We can use this thread as a discussion area and the other for weed posts.
