Grow Number 2 Malawi Gold

Malawi responds excellently to hard training, pulling, pruning and supercropping.
I don't want to post on your thread so if you want to see how a landrace malawi responds to heavy caging and weaving have a look at my current journal. The table mountain one. They love it. It should be last page or 2nd last. .

Just finished female seeds Sexbud and it grew very simillar to your malawi gold. Are you feeding a silicon supplement to help with the stem flexibility for bending without snapping your precious bud sites? Looking sweet dude gitter'dun :)
Thank you. Unfortunately I’m not adding any silicon. I’ve only rolled with the Ionic Grow nutrients, Great white bacteria. I’ve been very weary about goes in my buckets water. If you have recommendations I’ll gladly do the research on it. I’ll look at you journals :)

Day 51. Flower Day 15. Tied down the branches and they seem to have reacted well over the night.

Looking healthy brother ^^ raise co2 like drift says and maybe get a net in there if you can to keep the canopy even. my fayavourite stage of the plants life is first month of the flip, watching her manically grow ever few days is a pleasure and also alot of work :) happy growing bud stay lifted

Your Co2 bag should be high if you can, co2 is heavy so the higher the better fan will spread it out.
Yes you’re right. But what about negative pressure? The manufacturer recommends in this case to put it on the floor next to your air intake. This way it is pulled through the canopy up into the exhaust fan and filter. If I hang it it’ll just get sucked out.

Hey buddy welcome! I’m gonna skip the net on this one. I did buy two really nice nets that I’m going to commit to using next grow. I got them a little late in this one. I’m just going to use LST to maintain the canopy level for the remainder of this grow. I’ve already began to bend the top branches about 38 hours ago. Hopefully it works. But I agree about this time in the plants life, the growth is insane. My favorite is the fuzzy hat party in a few weeks.

What size tent is that if you don’t mind me asking? I was thinking about popping 3 beans for my 4x4 but after seeing your lady now I’m not so sure. CL🍀

LOL yeah it’s a 3x3x5. Advertising says two plants but I call BS. Maybe two runts. But only one tree lol

Thanks, I’ll be growing Golden Tiger which is 100% Sativa hybrid of a couple of Thai strains + Malawi killer so I figured it’s a close cousin of yours. lol CL🍀

Definatley food for thought on the co2 bag placement... not sure it would just get sucked straight out though your filter if hung as co2 is denser than air and the exhaust fan should be on a speed just enough to pull away the smell imo, one love!! just spent 4 hours trimming up an exodus cheese X white widow and my back is in bits 😂
😂

Yeah I would just be careful with the height. Make sure to start LST early. I’ll come by when you get going on it :)

Either way I think I’ll leave it as is for this current grow. I will however for a little experiment hang it for the next grow. But a video from the manufacturer does recommend having it lower if you have an extraction fan.

Are you noticing dramatic results from the co2? CL🍀

I have to be honest it was just an experiment to see if it would improve the environment. So far one thing I’ve noticed is it’s keeping my humidity up. That’s for sure. But from last grow to this grow, the difference isn’t much to be honest. Both plants grew like crazy. I have a feeling I won’t know until flower time really sets in.

Yea I was thinking about getting some for my tents as well.
My grow store was out but they swear by them! They had the chemical bottles that you have to shake daily, but he said He didn't feel comfortable selling them and they won't be carrying them anymore as the Exhale bags are the go-to.

He said, If I'm looking to make any upgrade to the garden the co2 bag should be the first thing. All I've ever heard was good things about them.

How long have you had it and how long does it say they are supposed to last?
Is there an activation period from when you buy it?

So from what I know there are two types of bags. One I got you have to remove the clip separating the material inside and mix it a bit and then it slowly activates over 40 days or so. Supposedly lasts 90 days or longer depending on the environment it’s in. The other bag I’ve heard of is already activated and producing peak co2 right when you get it. I don’t know much about that one.

Thank you for this I will definitely keep an eye on that when I get one.
With when you activated it, when will you be at "peak" co2?

I’ve read other members say they seen dramatic results and was just kicking it around in the grey matter but I read the reviews about @ PrescribenBlend nutes and I don’t think I’ll need anything else. CL🍀
