Looking good to me. :) If it's not too hard, lower the 2nd one a little more. 🤠 If some of them want to lay down instead of standing up, they can be pulled through the 2nd screen and tied if necessary.:hmmmm: If you think there's still a lot of stretch left, then don't lower the 2nd screen any more.:hmmmm:🙄🤠

Amazing day today !

1. lowered the 2nd net
2. found a $60 wine fridge with digital temp settings down to 39°F
3. cleared/trimmed small branches and popcorn nugs from ~80% of the under-canopy
4. processed all of the (small amount) of material as per the previously recommended methods (wash, hang, bag, chill)
5. grove bags come in 2 days

I am going through a dry run of harvest with this batch of under-canopy cuttings so that I can work all the kinks out (and have some pre-harvest tastes in a couple of weeks!!! :ganjamon: ). I will probably dry run the cob process with a little bit as well.

happy growing \m/

The Malawi seems to be getting cloudy and even a couple amber trichs...should I be concerned... "just follow the trichs" is what I've read from other growers..

I don't start checking trics until all the white pistils have turned red and crinkled in.
How is your air circulation?
Garden looks great.

Greetings everyone! I haven't been able to shake off these rust spots - there are a few on a couple plants - any suggestions? I'm going to let em dry (2days), then flush with distilled, ph'd H20 (6.5), then (2 more days) a moderate re-feeding with the normal nutes (0ppm H20 + CalMg + MaxiBloom) = ~850PPM/6.5 PH . The overall garden looks good and the fragrances are kicking in ... Let me know if you all have any alternative suggestions - thank you !!!

@gwhunran I guess I'm entering the 'finicky' stage :thumb: -

You’ll make it.

Hola everyone ... today is day 70 of flowering for these beauties...week 11
I think I'm going to start the final flush on Thursday ... I'll be posting more of the garden in a few days .. I have to drive down to "The Dude's" finca/farm tomorrow to help out with his feeding and tending ... he has a surgery in December and is 90% incapacitated until then...

What's up, :420:, !!

I cut some under-canopy branches and buds last week, and put them in my wine fridge that I made with an inkbird controller for the De-Humi and Humi's .. it keeps 60/60 with a really tight tolerance (+/- 4°F / +/- 5%RH) ... I dried the buds/branches (& a hygro meter) in brown paper bags, checking a lot the first 2 days, then once or twice a day, for this past week. Today is Day 7 of "Dry" in the contraption. The little branches don't snap yet, but they are almost there. I've been keeping notes, tracking it all, the smell is changing, and so yesterday, I started @tangwena 's cob method :Namaste: . I believe I now know that 'smell' that they have been talking about :yummy: - the sweating period is over (32 H @ ~ 110°F), and now I'm fermenting my first cob - I've got it in a closet under a blanket, maintaining @ ~ 82°F. cheers, y'all 🍻

:thanks:

Looking good in here. I also have some Ace Malawi girls and Golden tigers.
Mine are around week 10 & 11, two went in later when I had open spots.
My Malawi's are looking like they are starting to finish up at 11 weeks. I think they'll go couple more weeks tho.

I'm looking forward to a smoke report from yours if you don't mind posting it.
I'll do the same :lot-o-toke:

right on brother - very cool - do you have any pics of your girls ? It'd be nice to compare the colas and colors ... sure I will share a smoke report : I have a pre-harvest report now...
I am at week 11, pry 1 more week to go I think. I cut some under branches 1.5 weeks ago, I had done most de-foliation, but had left a few branches with large popcorn nugs, for a pre-harvest run of the Malawi cob method that @tangwena had pioneered (thanks man!!!) .... so I trimmed some nugs from the Malawi, and put them to dry in a wine fridge which I had rigged up with an inkbird controller, a humi and a de-humi in the fridge. the wine fridge has a digital temp setting, so this rig keeps a pretty tight 60°/60%. I dried the Malawi for 1 week, and then made a small cob with it. The quantity was not large. I had tried the fridge method originally 2 weeks prior (end of Sept) with the large de-foliation session..I had first tried a large batch of popcorn undercuttings, and did the dry in the original setup (without the humi / de-humi combo)...I followed @SweetSue 's method of the low & slow dry, however being a first timer, something went wrong, either I did not have enough wet bud in the fridge, or I did not seal the bags well enough, either way, after 3 days, I checked the first batch and they were super dry (the fridge keeps 17%RH without any changes to the system - that is why I got the <inkbird+Humi/De-Humi>...sorry for all the details...I usually prefer more detail than less....so anyways...after the 2nd pre-harvest, I dried those Malawi popcorn buds for 1 week, and then mixed that with some of the "too dry" pre-harvest from 2 weeks prior...mixed that up and made my first cob, with 1/2 of the 'too dry' pre-harvest bud and 1/2 of the ' just right' pre-harvest popcorn nugs. Mind you - this is all with pre-mature trichs and such - pry about 3 to 4 weeks early - but testing the process....welll after 24 H of 'sweating' and 3 days of "curing" ( I could not wait!) I tried the first Malawi Cob I've ever done, and holy fvk man...! yes it is amazing - the smell and effect are different in a uniquely wonderful way - I can't wait to do the full thing with ripe buds... I am bummed the little guy is running out, and have a 3rd pre-harvest batch drying in the fridge now...I'll b making my 2nd cob next week :) - I will be happy to share all the info I gather from this run. cheers man !
happy growing & Good LUCK on your harvest !! :) :hookah:
