I'm partial to "The Temple of Bloom"
The Pergo sub-floor insulation on the walls was left over from a job I did. I thought the reflective surface would work great. Turns out it is awesome as a reflector, but also insulates enough to keep my A/C in where it belongs. I just finished wrapping the whole inside with it. Super impressed!
If I remember correctly, it was stupid expensive though. Not economical for sheeting an entire grow room unless it was left over from a construction project.
None-the-less, I would totally recommend it for someone having similar temp issues. Then again, I'm sure there aren't too many people crazy enough to try taming the temperature of a tin-roofed barn in TX. LoL

Just an idea, what about shade net/cloth ? Layer it over the roof. Should cool it down allot

I've thought about a few resolutions because my temp shot up for like 3 weeks when I first set it all up... I stewed on it 24 hours a day. Thought about painting the roof white or putting up some shade but didn't want to detract from the authentic "rustic charm". After putting in a brand new wall a.c., the temp hasn't spiked again since.haha classic !

I actually have a huge 60'X100' barn that I want to move in to next year but need to produce something significant off my next few crops to justify the move to my wife. LoL
Thinking a 20'X20' man-cave & grow room. Is it weird that I want a recliner and tv in the same room my plants are in? Talk about fung shui...

Not weird. Ive got one of our tents in our room where my wife and i sleep. But i lock it cause the kids go in the room too. Paint the roof white instead. It actually works. Just make sure the paint is smooth and shiny to really deflect the light

Well hopefully that works for you buddy. I wouldnt want to take away from the sheds authentic look either
Had some rain last night and a buddy of mine showed me pics of his guerilla grow .. Which got my greenthumbs twitching haha.. Soooo I spent a couple of hours on google earth last night while puffing on some exodus and chose a spot as I had 2 og kush and 2 durban poison seeds germing for a friend.. Long story short, my friends not getting the plants LOL as I hiked to the chosen spot this morning and put beans to soil my 1st guerilla grow ever ! its quite a rush to tell you the truth.. looking for tracks, people, anything out of the ordinary.. Im glad to say it all went well and I think my spot is pretty stealthy !

Trail cameras are awesome for keeping an eye out too. I have 2 cheap-o cams that I use for hunting set up around my grow. All I ever see are pictures of myself going back & forth but I definitely have piece of mind.Not weird at all my man .. Sound like the best plan iv heard in a while

Plans to keep the wildlife from eating the flowers? Maybe a chicken wire ring around your grow staked in with natural sticks? Deer here in TX will get down on some buds... LoL, potheadsOg kush's

Probably going to be using chicken wire or just making a fence with three seperate lines wrapped around the trees.. should keep them from coming in. There was also a big fire this side so soil is very fertile as you can see .. all the black on trees and ground is actually ash and coal from the fire organic tooo the max !! So not to sure how long the buck will be around these parts as all the vegatation and grass etc is has been burnt away. Which is another reason why i chose the spot as no one would want to go there anymore as there is nothing left except this lil jungle at the end running up the side like a silver lining haha

I'm gonna run a plant outdoors with my current group. No real reason other than me wanting to see the difference in yield. This is gonna be a fun couple months. Can't wait to follow along on everyone's grow.

I'm also from ZA, after the decriminalization thought I'd give growing a try.
This would be my second grow, first one is about 60 days into flower.
- Date of germination/seed to soil: Put the seed in soil on 15/07/17 and they all broke soil throughout 18th.
- Strain: Mystery Seeds (unknown strain)
- Lights: 100% CFL start to finish
- Tent/box etc: 2x2ft White Melamine Cabinet
- Hydro/soil: Soil
- Grow medium: Potting Soil + Perlite
- Feed: I don't use any nutes, just water.. maybe you can convince me otherwise.. I don't know much about gardening.
The Cabinet:
Top for flower, bottom for veg

The plants:
Transplant directly to larger pots 2 days ago.. gave water.. maybe a little too much.. soil is still very wet.. leaves a bit droopy.. they should survive..
