Grape Ape & Golden Tiger Hit the Shower - DBHBB & 600W HPS - Winter 2016

Things look much better this morning! :yahoo:
With any luck, this grow will turn around. I lost a couple of weeks, but if that's as bad as it gets, I'm glad I held on. We'll see how they are doing next weekend...

Ya baby!!! Fu....in eh Major....yeepa! If they look even a lil bit better , you got it, they will take off soon, you'le see. Stoked for ya pal! :high-five::cheertwo::clap: The "Kit" lives at Major's!!!

You guys are the BEST!

Glad you can salvage this last indoor grow before the outdoor season Major. We were all pulling for you and I am stoked to see them turning around!
As am I SF! I wish they were looking as good as yours, but I'll take what I can get and I'll do better next time.

I like the country setup Major :high-five:

If you have a post hole digger on the back of that tractor you probably have holes all over the place to put that special soil :thumb:
Thanks BI! I wish I had a post hole digger and a backhoe for the old gal, but all those post holes were dug by hand (when I was younger, foolisher, and poorer).

You are going to make it through this Major. I have a feeling that they are going to bounce back.
I'm not sure I'm out of the woods yet, but heck yeah! I think they are going to make it. I can't wait to get them in the bigger pots.

Thanks so much, my friend! I'm stoked too - yeepa yeepa. :high-five: I hold my breath everytime I open up the room, wondering what they will look like today.

If they continue to improve rather than revert to their old ways, does anyone have a recommendation as to when I should start the foliars again?

I just got back from my local grow supply and picked up some neem meal, alfalfa meal and guano for my outdoor mix.
Neem meal is NASTY! No wonder bugs don't like it. I don't like it! I'm amazed people in the mid-east actually eat this stuff as medicine. I bet it makes your breath ... special. :cheesygrinsmiley:

When the leaves perk up - go horizontal and firm with better color - don't be afraid of half-strength DeStress. That'll help the roots hook up. But yeah, no Brix until they're thriving. But as I'm sure you'd remind us - they're not out of the woods yet. :hmmm:

Major, just my thought on the foliars pal....lay off them until they are in the big pots and are "hooked up" then start with the sprays.Great news btw Major. Cheers pal!:Namaste:
Agreed..foliars need healthy roots(and leaves :))..:)

Roger the advice on the foliars. I wasn't going to Brix them anytime soon, but I thought the Destress might help. My usual schedule is Destress on Mondays. If they continue to improve, I'll start with 1/2 strength after this coming weekend.

Currently, the leaves are standing "at attention" - no longer droopy and over-watered-looking. Color is better and more uniform, but not dark green or glossy. If I understand the kit products, a G.E. drench should help, but that's still a few days out.

Good news major hope they continue that way......:high-five:
Thanks Nate!

Did you do a Rescue drench? Actually, at this stage Transplant/Tea might be more helpful. Energy is basically a substitute for lively soil - it's more "fertilizer" than magic drench. Transplant is more for the biota. But if you've gone heavy on the Trans lately, then no, enough is enough. :cheesygrinsmiley: Spray 'em with weak DeStress every few days and watch for improvement. If they revive their growth, then boost with Energy. :slide:

... I think ... :hmmmm:

I always have to stop and remind myself that this method doesn't "push nutes". It's a different mentality. The plant and the Kit create a beneficial relationship in the soil, and then we support and tweak that relationship with the foliars and drenches. We don't really have the tools to force much.

"Yes" to the Rescue. The eight 1 gal pots received 12 ml Tea + 60 ml Transplant in 2 gal of water (total for all plants) three days ago. Hopefully that is in the ballpark for a rescue. Would that make you lean toward a G.E. drench next, or stick with Trans?
:thanks:

Then yes, they've had enough Trans. :laughtwo: Next drench would be Energy, but I wouldn't even be thinking of it right now. Let the soil find its balance before you add anything more. There's plenty of potential energy in there already - just gotta get the bots happy again.

Fine indeed, 420! :high-five:
Please don't judge Doc's kit with HPS from this grow. It got off to a rocky start. I think it may be back on track, but it will be another week or two before I'm sure.
My HB grow last summer spent some time under HPS before moving outside. They loved it while in veg.

Im here for the ride. A late start but Im here lol. Im curious to see these at harvest. I've actually seen these seeds down at my local dispensary. The grape ape x sensi star. Cant wait

Howdy and welcome, fopho!
Are you in So. Or.? :high-five:

Top of the day to ya Major....how's all my brotha? Are the girls up for a photo shoot yet? How they lookin pal? Cheers.

I'm doing great and the girls in the shower are doing ... better. Not "GREAT!", but much better than a week ago.
I'll clean them up a little more and shoot some pic's this weekend. Don't hold your breath for quality veg porn. I so badly want to get them into the bigger pots but I think I'm still a few days away from being able to sex them. New growth looks pretty good but still small/stunted. It may be the small pots. Either that or I'm still struggling to wake up the microherd from their slumbers. I have a few ugly old fans left on them I want to trim.

Have a great day and evening, my friend.
Heck - all the rest of you should have a great day, too! :cheesygrinsmiley:
