Here's a trick that won't even make the lazy meter twitch.

Get a wooden stick. Like a shishkabob stick and take the point off.
Decide how deep you want to plant and mark the stick with permanent marker at that measurement.
Align the seed as desired over the cube hole, and push it in to the mark on the stick. Every seed at same depth.

However, I've got an even simpler solution that merely involves getting my head out of my ass.

Hello all.

The helmet is off of the Sour G. Now I've got to deal with the membrane, a tougher problem IMO.

And where the hell is everybody else? I've seen no movement from the other rooters.

This is why I prefer skipping the germination step in my journals. Writing about it makes it more stressful than it needs to be.
