First Grow Indica Under CFLs 2012

.that sounds like your weed is already good enough to me 
actually using the tree for water and nutes is a bit beyond me, i just wanted to rig up some ropes to a couple of pots and raise them in the top of the tree, out the way of prying eyes, plus when it rains it gets watered and i can add nutes and what ever else as the grow goes on, i was just trying to find away round the ground been to wet to long for the plants to grow, due to the weather here its just to wet to allow the roots time to dry and get some oxygen needed, so i was thinking along the lines of having 2 plant pots in a big square container so say 2 x 3 or 5 gallon pots sitting in a big square tub, or even fill the tub with compost and let them both grow in their at different ends, then i could raise it into the tree top and get all the birds high at the same time, as long as they save me some buds for harvest then ill be very happy,
and if they wont play nice and save me some then ill use some netting and build a net cover over the plants, i think making the contraption would be pretty easy, as long as i can throw some rope up to the top of a tree so it allows me to raise and lower the tub then it should in theory work, it would have full sun all day and would be away from most ground based critters, so thats my plant for next year, well thats my plan at the moment, i got plenty of wooded areas to use so finding a tree wont be a problem,
plus the only thing id need to hide is the rope hanging down that i raise and lower it with, but if im lucky i can find a tree with a few low branches and i can hopefully tie the rope high enough up so it cant be seed but low enough so i can climb up to grab hold of, im not to keen on heights so it would all be done from ground level, i would not be climbing any trees to get to my plants, all i want to do is pull on a rope to raise them and let the rope go to lower them, doing this should keep me out the tree and keep my arms and legs working as needed, so all that will be moving is the tub with the plants in, the rest will be up to nature and me adding nutes and water as needed

to raise a BIG plant up and down ,you'd have to cut all the limbs off the side of the tree , otherwize ,how would ya get the plant to the top ?? the diameter of a big plant is maybe 4 to 5 ft across ,or bigger ,try to hoist that up through a tree without destroying her limbs sounds like an awful lot of work , for 1 plant, and it wouldn't be stealth ,,1 sided tree with a pallet hanging off one side,with a pot on it
Yeah, you don't wanna do that in Texas... Unless you have a couple RPG's handy, you might as well stay there and save your energy. There's so much open terrain, you stick out like a sore thumb. Not much wooded area in central Texas. Lots of scrub, mesquite, prickly pear, and things like that, but the 4x4's will catch you and the helicopter will lead them right to you.

Bad news one of the field s were i but some plants got harvested the farmer did half the field and it was the half that the plants were in. I went looking and found a bunch of mashed up buds all over took what i found anyways figure i can make oil with the bad stuff. So i went and harvested what i had left in other spots. they still could of been left for another week but dont want to take the chance. Ill get some pics of the plants i do got all trimmed up to end this journal

we had the same thing happen 1 time ,the farmer desided to cultivate a couple of extra rows wider than his corn..we found none
Hey, I'm having the same gnat problem. I looked on the net and all I've been hearing about is putting apple cider vinegar, sugar, and water. Cut the top of a soda bottle off and put the top down in the bottle. I just put mines in their yesterday....going to see how it works for a couple of days.
Also it says slice a potato and put it down in the soill (skin part up). If you have gnat larvae in your soil they will show up in the potato in a couple of days....

I was at a local hedge shop and found old hightime mags for a dollar each. all were at least a year old but information was what intrigued me. I remember a 2010 issue having a story in it about growing in trees, Im gonna look for it and will tell what issue it was if anyones interested.

Hi everyone the first thing I would like to say at the end of this journals is thank you everyone who fallowed me along with this grow if it wasnt for you guys who knows what could of happen. I learned a ton in a very short time from some great people, shut outs to 420
My grow was a indoor outdoor grow, I started with a strain that me and my old man created out of The Purp from bcbuddepot and a male plant that i was told was pineapple kush from unknow breeder. the strain is a great outdoor strain never had to water all summer, and never seen my girls droopy at all vary drought resistant. I ended up with a few pounds I did pick a little early do to the fear of the farmer harvesting corn early. Which did happen Im just gald I didnt put all my eggs into one basket, so i won and lost some is better then none.
this strain gave me a sativa buzz but grew like an indica vary nice not a fan of the couch lock buzz only at night time do i like that type of buzz.
Im vary happy for the first grower, I even made 3oz of black oil which is good to know that its pure un cut oil around my area you never know if your getting cut shit or not. The oil was a bonus.
I am onto my second grow this time i got 6 different strains going which are doing really nice. I m looking for a new light I wasnt to happy with my 2lt grow I did have a few other problems but i do need more light for my future grows.
So I end this journal with a smile on my face and some bud porn to finish HAPPY GROWING!!!!!

Care to elaborate on how you made the oil? I have about a lb of shake I'm looking to turn into oil too, but not sure where to start......great place to post a step by step tutorial
