First Grow - 400W HID

Doesn't look like light burn to me. Usually light burn only displays itself on the upper region of the plant and that looks like it goes all the way down. With that hps I can't tell if those blotches are brown or yellow. Can you help us out there? With the way it's mainly around the fringe of the leaves I'm leaning towards mild nute burn.

The spots are more brown than yellow. Leaves are also crispy on the ones that have it.

Okay I'm seeing tiny bugs crawling in the soil I believe this is the problem I just don't know what to do now

I use neem oil. There are other available insecticides that are safe but I'm not sure which to use. Neem oil is available at just about any store that sells gardening supplies.

Any kind of creature near your plants is no good. I would nip it in the bud for sure.

I don't think that's necessary unless there are tiny little mites on them. But the damage won't prevent the rest of that leaf from still assisting the plant.

Okay my lights are scheduled to go off soon if I get back home and they are off and I flip them on for a couple minutes to use the oil could that mess anything up?

Yep. Make sure to get it on the entire plant including the bottoms of the leaves.

No problem. Keep in mind too that neem oil isn't a poison so it's not immediate. It may take a few applications over the next few days to drive those bugs out. But occasional application will act as a preventative as well to keep them from coming back.
