Demonic Angel Needs Forgiveness!

I actually watched a man in a "thanks to Jesus I'm saved!" shirt drown once......I could have saved him, but we all know who would have gotten the credit......

Jokes aside, can you tell I'm bored and lonely? I'm sitting here the last 2 days praying for some piece of machinery, or generator, or anything to break or fry or need to be built......I hate it when its this quiet,it's a bad sign. Means everything is gonna break all at once and cause me a prioritizing nightmare. Hell I'd even settle for an oil change on a snowblower at this point. Or a burned out light bulb....
Electrician?

I'm not a religious guy, my family knows this. But for some reason my brother got me a Jesus doll....you pull on a string and it recites Bible verses.....

It's actually part of a collection, you've also got Bigfoot, the tooth fairy, the loch ness monster, and a chick in a bar that will actually give you her real phone number.......

Electrician?
Electrician, heavy and light mechanic, plumber/pipe fitter, gas fitter, welder, carpenter, machinist, and anything else required to keep the machines and people working. There are 3 of us total for a nominal 500 man camp, the other 2 are the field guys, I'm the shop guy, but we all do everything and anything we're qualified on. I been with the company longer and and the more relevant skills, so I do all the smaller in-shop and building stuff. They drive out to the immobilized or oversized stuff and do the work in the field.....nasty this time of year, glad I paid my dues on that shit.

If you manage to find Fort Severn on a map, you're within 90 KM of me.....you literally won't find me on a map, as I said elsewhere, the closest permanent road is 380km ish away. Right now the ice roads are about to open, but when my rotation started only access was by air or sea.....which is why we all bring a storage pod when we come out.....gotta bring food, tp, basically everything you need for 3 months, there's a store but assume if you didn't bring it you aren't getting it. During non-winter we get a mail boat every week, winter 1 mail run every 2 weeks, once the roads open, anything else you got a great-north Saga level journey ahead of you. Next closest town other than the rez is over in Manitoba, 6 hours minimum by snowmobile if the weather is good and the snow is hard packed. Don't leave home without extra gas and firepower. Bears, wolves, rutting moose, and various other nasties aplenty.

That's why you get the big bucks though. Sounds like alot of work. Sounds isolated at the same time which can be a drag lol

Yup that's the trade-off. Middle of nowhere with nothing to do but work and watch the snow fall, then melt, then fall again. But 2 rotations a year gets me more than most government workers, and gives me 6 months off a year. Doing 2 back to back....well better payoff than 5/6 on 6/49 and more reliable.

What's the difference between a newfie and a Nova-Scotian? I consider Nova-Scotians human..

What the best place to hide a Newfies welfare so he'll never find it? Under his work boots, he hasn't touched those in years.

See I heard that joke a little differently before lol

Let's say race was involved lol

Hey nothing wrong with us blue nosers lol

Bored!! still playing with temps. Added a fan and some ducting. Its better now 83F which is about what the room temp is LOL working on lowering that now. I really need to get another thermometer and keep it in the room and the other in the tent. Guess I have time to go get it now. Need some cat grass and catnip too...
Oh that's good once you get every dialed in your going to laugh and reap the rewards lol its something we all go through and then when you sit back a few months later you laugh about it. All in progression lol
