Ive been lurking for awhile and learned quite a few things (thats where the pretty sure I did everything wrong comes from) But I did manage to grow two very nice "shrubs" that were probably pretty pure indica strains, and one bean stalk of a sativa. None of them really yielded well and I think it was for a couple of reasons.
First off was the wrong lighting, I used MH all the way through and IIRC it was pretty low wattage (closet grow 20 yrs ago). The other thing I had done was to change the light cycle early on to sex the plants, then flipped back to veg out for awhile longer. Thoughts?
How long would you all wait before giving up on 17 yr old seeds to pop before giving up?

Lol I myself never give up. Age is only a number. We're you providing and general hydroponics back then? Or any type of nutrients? Sometimes it just takes awhile to get everything down

I forgot to mention I've used MH bulbs from start to finish. Not always the greatest yield but it worked. Have to keep in mind the old days everything had to be changed. The hoods and bulbs. Because they were different sized threads lol
