Either way, you are a fantastic grower! Your plants look really nice! I don't actually use ph'd water for my soil grows... seems ok so far lol. Im also a long time grower, but kind of newish here.

I'm the same I haven't been here that long myself. Thank you for the compliment. Anyone can do it. I never use to use phed water but after ping my water I found better medication in taste and the growth was much better. A bit of extra work but at the end of the day we get what we put into it

Ive used bottled water for a whole grow and noticed no difference to my tap water in terms of taste or quality of the flowers. Maybe my water is perfect? Lol, I dunno. Yes anyone can grow, but not everyone can do it well. Im happy to be able to grow beside many knowledgeable people here such as yourself. .

How do you make your organic soil?

I find it different in Nova Scotia lol. The water quality sucks big time. Too much alkaline in the water. Anyone can grow great meds some just have to learn. This is the greatest place to learn. I agree there are many great growers here. It is also a pleasure to grow next to you as well. As for my soil it's a family recipe and can't give it away. Not until it's perfect anyways. Once I get it where I'm comfortable you among many others will get everything. Every single recipe I have. I have tried many and only a few seem to stand up. Some went completely wrong. Trial and error I guess. But I promise you like I have promised others I will!!!

I share my recipe because 1) it isn't mine, it was "invented" by Mel Bartholomew, a brilliant engineer who retired and took up gardening, then decided there had to be a better more efficient way of growing things than current consensus dictated. So he spent years doing a HELL of alot of work and research, and founded Square Foot Gardening. My way is his way, and in my home, In Mel We Trust. His Word Is Law.

And 2) like any good cook, my recipe is different every time. How much is "a pinch and a dash"?

I respect that! Not me. My secret is rich garden soil with many years of growing and tilling and composting everything and mixing it all in. The worms, ants, spiders, and everyone else comes to hang out all on their own. I also use egg shells to deter any slugs.

Indoors I use pro mix hp with a few things added in. I start with clean dirt and clean seeds/ clones so bugs are not an issue. I'm also not really sold on LED for now... but that's just me and the way I grow.

Do you do any edibles or oils or tinctures or just smoke/vape flowers?
 
I myself have only just made my second batch of cannabutter but I am rapidly being converted to the joy of edibles. 25 + year smoker tho and I swear I'll die with a roach clutched in my cold fingers.

I once got called the whitest Rasta on earth by a Jamaican. That made me smile.

I used to have multi generation roaches lol. I had 4 jars, and each roach would get jarred till I could roll a 2nd Gen joint and so on till the 4th jar finally had enough for a whole dube. It wasn't as good as expected and I don't do that any more lol.

I haven't ph'd my nutes for some time now, with AN it's not normally needed and Nuke juice is the same way.

Thanks good to know I heard it also helps with allowing your nutrient uptake to the plant like a boost allowing it to access nutes easier? Is that accurate?

Don't take my word for it, do your own independent research. You know what they say... once you go organic, you don't go back. Lol!

Check out my outdoor plant in my journal here, 100% organic, water only, 7 feet tall and just massive. Sadly winter came early and I only got 2 ounces but this coming year will be better.
