Sounds about right, the plant doesn't take it up so it shouldn't hurt your plant at any strength but it is expensive so I stick with recommended amount.

Yeah you can use it a a res and or medium

I think I'm going to add 1 ml for the first two weeks then I'll up it to 2 ml per gal once a week.

Do it the other way around, 2ml to start then you can drop it to 1ml. It's basically enzymes and at first you'll need to use the maximum to clean your medium then a maintenance dose after that

You might be a Canadian grower if......you're using the ice cold outside air drawn in through a disguised dryer vent to cool your grow and dumping the scrubbed light-heated air into your house to save on heating costs.

Interesting... I use my tent exhaust to contribute directly to melting the polar ice cap whilst making sure my wood stove doesn't make it too hot in here.. I think my carbon filter doesn't work well enough to recycle the air indoors unfortunately.
