Clones In Soil: Hybrid Perpetual Grow 2021/2022

This LST style of growing has to be my favorite way to grow. I tried topping and fiming but I couldn’t control my canopy they way I was able to doing LST. I don’t see myself growing any other way. I just love they way they look from the bottom up. I once read it’s like they look like some kind of creature out of a Tim Burton movie or something and I’ll have to agree lol :circle-of-love:

You mean CO2? Unless you have a closed system and seal the tent when the CO2 is "exhaling," I'm 100% sure your money is better spent on lighting.
Yeah, I think so. I’ve seen these bags called exhale, that some growers use inside their grow tent/room. And I just thought maybe something was better than nothing.

I’m so excited guys, it’s official I’m turning the lights out tonight to start 12/12 bloom light schedule tonight :yummy:

They must have grown 2-3 inches over night!! I don’t think I can wait another week or I’ll get out grown.

This is my best girl and she is the one I stared from a clone I cut myself. Makes me so proud ;)

Ps. She is called future she is indica/sativa dominate.

Hopefully the light comes in time for me to take clones. Bc if it doesn’t, then it looks like I’ll be learning to mostercrop this time around. :thumb:

If you need help, I got you ladybird.

I go ok with clones.

Omg I just realized I under feed the first time Bc I use a 2 gallon water tank which, I usually have to fill up twice. but only added per 1 gallon for 4 gallons of water Lol…wow my poor lil babies.
Thanks so much for all your support, it’s obviously needed!

Ps. For future reference and just so I’m sure what you are telling me, is that this is a nutrient deficiency and not something in their grow environment?
Yes, I think this is a nutrient deficiency (not too bad though, your plants will be fine).. Good catch or remembering this!
Feeding them full-strength should happy them up right quick!
I agree, you can use what is on the chart. Since they were previously under fed you can just give them regular strength nutrient and that should correct the issue.
should I go ahead and add the last nute (big data) now before I’m going to flip or wait until I’m actually in flower?
You can if you want to but its not needed until flower. The Core A/B mix has plenty of P to get the transition going.

Everything looks really good with the canopy!

Alright so here is my next question and I must note that I do research before coming here and asking, it’s just I don’t get the answer I want anywhere else ;)lol
Anyways, I was wondering if I should keep the light out for 36 hours before going on 12/12 light schedule?

Some folk believe it jump-starts flower, but it also means they're getting less light! If you haven't found any evidence done with identical clones then it probably falls into the category I described above: to wit, if you feel like that can be helpful, then there is value in feeling like you're doing something helpful. Doesn't necessarily mean the plants care though. :)

I wanted to mention that I didn’t have any pests like gnats at all this time. I’m pretty sure it’s Bc I let the soil dry out in a plastic bin I’m my garage. I remember during my first grow I would notice the gnats after every time I would water. I’ve had a lot of luck when it has comes to not having any major problems with my growing experience, like pests, nute deficiencies or any other type of problem, as of yet anyways. Hopefully it stays that way. :Namaste:

Alrighty then, I’ll take it as the answers I was looking for, as I have no time to waste! I’m not trying to re-invent the wheel or whatever lol

omg guys my first grow was a mess when it came to the canopy… I definitely feel like my first 2 grow is definitely telling a very true story about me, if you can read between the lines. Like holy fuck! (Please excuse my choice of words atm.) Honestly, I’m a little embarrassed, I was so proud of my first grow. I couldn’t believe they were still alive period lol
The pictures speak for themselves. I really had no clue what to do about the canopy. I tried a few things but didn’t understand the task completely, so I would undo everything I tried and just let them grow. SMH.. needless to say my yield was vey small. I think it was around 3-4 ounces.
LST (low stress training) really changed the game for me, when it comes to the canopy. Now I know for sure what the task at had is and how to work it to fit my tent. Which I couldn’t do without my buddies here @420. @InTheShed really enlighten me on many, many things grow! Everyone makes it so easy and responds in a timely manner, if not immediately and that means everything to me! :thanks:

I’m so proud of you ladybird.

This forum is such a fabulous place. I just love the fact us newbies seem to find the exact mentor we need.

Shed must feel quite chuffed to have been able to guide you which has resulted in such a spectacular example of improvement when it comes to growing.

Maybe one day we will be able to be the grasshopper when it comes to imparting grow knowledge :)
