Clones In Soil: Hybrid Perpetual Grow 2021/2022

Depends on who you ask. Some folks think that's a good thing and others think it's one way the plant shades the broad part of the leaves from too much light.

I would put the panel at the height of the old one and lower the watts to 30% of max. Saves money that way too. As they stretch you can raise the light and raise the wattage slowly over a week. No need to run it at 100% now.

100% on the 100w is 30% on the 300w, so that's what I'd set the new one at for now
Ok, I’ll go ahead and change the percentage.

Ok sounds good. Now that makes me feel better know that they are exactly where there were and I can gradually bring them online with 300w :)

ok, yeah Bc I’ve also heard it’s actually a good thing to have them “praying”…. And the learning continues ……:high-five:

Ps. Are ya sick of me yet lol wait don’t answer that!!! :cheesygrinsmiley:

This is how I set up the inline fan in the outside of the tent. I love it Idk why I didn’t do that in the first place.

Oh no!!!!! I think I stressed out my babies real bad. Adjusting the temp in the tent tonight seems to be a bit of a challenge for some reason. It dropped all the way to 68f. I got it back up to, well idk because the inside thermometer seems to read 79F with the humidity at 41%. The thermostat attached to the tent is reading 75f and 48%h. I don’t know which one to believe. The actual room itself is 80F. I know the plants droop a lil when sleeping but come on. This looks really bad to me
Is that even enough to stress them out or am I just being an over protective proud momma?
They are also coming off a 24/7 light schedule. I also noticed I had the fans on low instead of high, the top fan and the bottom fan. I have the inline fan set to 3. Ok, now with all of that said, should I also have a vent like one of those tubings attached to the tent allowing fresh air to enter the tent? Bc right now with it all zipped up there isn’t any fresh air entering the tent, it’s just being sucked out?

Ps. This is them 4 hours after lights out. I only noticed how droopy they looked when I opened the tent to check the fan.

Looks great! If there's a way to take out that 180º turn in the hose that will improve your airflow. Squeeze the rings together and see if you can get it to sit on the filter.
:high-five:

I have air inlets at the bottom of the tent and exhaust at the top to allow as much air as possible to pass through the tent. Mine is homemade but it's working well.
ok, I’ll have to check out your journal to get a vision. I just love a good DIY :)

It's in My budget tent ventilation setup, or something like that, lol, I'm not sure how to link stuff. It took me forever to get signatures setup and I'm still not really sure how I did it

Yup sure do!!! o_O How the heck did I get away with not having this in place the first time around. I guess that’s the difference between having a canopy and not having a canopy. Bc I can immediately tell my girls weren’t happy with their environment at all. My poor lil babies were suffocating and just like that they’re all dead! Oh hell no, not my girls!
Rn I opened a vent at the bottom of the tent with the fan blowing directly into the bottom. Until I can get the proper equipment for the job, with out running the risk of any type of light getting into the tent and interrupting their beauty sleep, causing them to get all stressed out and herming on me. We simply cannot have that happening, oh no, no way! Yikes!!

Fingers crossed these babies take. I only took 2 cuttings from each plant. With the hopes for at least one health clone from each plant.
A couple question’s come to mind rn and that’s, which percentage light is good for the clones at this stage? I’ll be using the SF-1000. And is this the first day of Veg?

It’s only been about 2 hours and they don’t look so good…

I dipped them into some clonex with about an inch of water with. The stem is sitting right on top of the water level, not quite in the water as per @InTheShed. Maybe they need more time to adjust.

should I give up on this round and try again? It look like maybe 1 is ok lol

I'd give them a lot less light. Mine are off to the side of a 23w CFL desk light.

Sorry for the delay, was off-line this weekend.
Is 10% on in yhe 100 watts still too much? I have the t8 light should I use that for now?
