Clones In Soil: Hybrid Perpetual Grow 2021/2022

I’m sorry @InTheShed I tend to go in circles. Thanks for not treating me like a dizzy chick and having so much patience lol I’ll get it sooner or later, I promise! Lol

I would tie it down, supercrop, or top it rather than try to fit it under the net. If it's under a net it will either take over the other plants. It's gotta grow somewhere!

I would also move it to the front since it's obviously the problem child.
What would you do… top, tie down or supercrop?

This pic is 4 days after using @Prescription Blend and the ladies are looking great, so healthy and happy. They already want more water. I went from about six days in between water to 4 days.

Supercropping is bending branches without breaking them to move growth laterally for a while. I have a thread about it in my sig!

I would supercrop!

That means great growth above and below the soil! :welldone:

Ok got it! I used my pliers Bc every time I’ve tried to bend them over I end up snapping it in two. I did pinch a lil too hard and too high on one so I had to use a yo-yo to hold her up, it’s pretty bad so hopefully she does heal. I have such a heavy hand, always have. That’s why I don’t really like to supercrop but whatever works, works. I moved the 2 tallest plants to the front and removed the scrog net as recommended. and now we wait for them to heal and grow, grow, grow.

Good afternoon it’s 4:20 somewhere :yummy: Her are the ladies today at 15 weeks Veg lol…I did some supercroping on Monday but forgot to do it again yesterday so I did it again just now. It’s awesome how much more they’ve grown since then. I think I’m done with LST. And am just letting them grow atp. I’m sure I can get more tops but I think they have plenty for the space and light wattage. If I’m not mistaken it really doesn’t matter how many tops I get I’ll still only get what wattage my light can put out and that’s only 100 watt’s. I’m assuming without using a light meter and going by what the manufacturer states. My question is would adding another 300 watts be too much for 3x3 space? I figured 400w should be good enough, if not over kill that is. What would be the ideal light wattage for this space?

I noticed a little discoloring on some of the leaves on my taller plant. Not sure what or why this is happening or if I should be worried or not?

Looks like a magnesium deficiency, but in terms of what to do about it I would ask @Prescription Blend for their advice. Might need a boost from one of their ingredients.

Even with maximum light, your rootball can only support a certain amount of flower mass. A pot with a lot of tops will grow a lot of smaller buds that might add up to the same as fewer tops with bigger buds. I've never run that experiment though!
What would be the ideal light wattage for this space?
For the answer to that I will defer to Graytail, my lighting guru:
You'll want roughly 30 watts per sqft in bloom.

Keep in mind that any bump in light should be introduced slowly to prevent stress to the leaves.

Hi ladybird :)

OMG They look sooooo much better without the Grace Net. I personally hate them. I did buy one when I set my tent up coz the hydro dude said I can’t grow without one, and I think once I got to scrog stage it took me about five minutes to realise it was lies.

Is this the same branch from your first pic in post #125? If so, it seems like the new growth on the tip of this branch is doing fine and continues to grow. and the signs were visible starting at least 2 days ago in post #125. If these are not the same branch then this issue might be more widespread. Best idea is to check through the rest of the garden. From your pic it looks like this is isolated to this leaf that probably emerged about 1-2 weeks ago (guessing) but if you could check the lower growth also that would be helpful.

These are clones which makes this easier to troubleshoot but in the short term you can increase the amount of Core A and Core B in the next feeding, you don't have to increase any other component. Instead of 10mL/Gal you can use 12mL/Gal each of Core A and Core B.

Hey there @Prescription Blend, yes everything you mentioned seems to be right on point. The discoloration seems to be coming from the one plant. These are some pics from right now. I did remove the leaves yesterday Bc they were huge and blocking light to lower limbs.

1st pic is the same branch I removed the original problem leaves from.
2nd pic is the same plant just in another area.
I didn’t see anything below or on any of the other plants.
I’ll add 12 ml/gal next feed. Omg I just realized I under feed the first time Bc I use a 2 gallon water tank which, I usually have to fill up twice. but only added per 1 gallon for 4 gallons of water Lol…wow my poor lil babies.
Thanks so much for all your support, it’s obviously needed!

Ps. For future reference and just so I’m sure what you are telling me, is that this is a nutrient deficiency and not something in their grow environment?

Hello, hello, hello, I hope this post finds everyone growing their favorite pot, living their best life! Bc I certainly am, well I’m certainly trying my very best anyways… so I want to take some clones for my next grow, my 3rd grow actually. And I was wondering when the best time is to do so? My first attempt was a fail as only one survived, which makes me so happy but I did take more than 10 cuttings, so yeah I need some tips and pointers as per usual. I believe I took the clones 2 weeks before flipping to flower but now I heard I should have done it when they were 2 weeks into flower, So when is the best time? I was also going to use some peat moss pods I have left over and some extra clonex.
I do plan on flipping next week, Monday to be exact. So, I wanted to take clones when I lollipop hopefully Sunday, if my schedule stays on track for flipping.

Most of my grows are from clones.

While I’m defs not a clone expert I can share what works for me if you like?

I also monstercrop which is the cloning of a bud.

@Prescription Blend should I go ahead and add the last nute (big data) now before I’m going to flip or wait until I’m actually in flower?

Hey Trala, yes please do!

Hey Trala, yes please do!
I did a tutorial thingy. I’ll go find it :)

Again I’m by no means an expert, but this method works for me. And it almost never fails, even when I think it has. Monstercropped clones take much longer to strike, but watching them fight for life then turn into a green monster plant is just awesome.
