Clones In Soil: Hybrid Perpetual Grow 2021/2022

Oh my god I found it!

And with ease. The 420 search function made it easy :)

I believe I took the clones 2 weeks before flipping to flower but now I heard I should have done it when they were 2 weeks into flower, So when is the best time?
Clones taken before flower will root the fastest and clones taken some time after flip (called monstercrop clones because they create a lot more branching when you grow them out) take longer to root. Clones taken immediately after flip should still root like ones taken before.

If you have had trouble getting roots I would advise taking your cuttings in veg, and while you can use those plugs, I'd like to recommend that you put a few cuttings directly into a cup of rinsed perlite and about an inch of water. Push the cuttings down so the bottom of the stem sits just above the water line and leave them in a spot that gets light (corner of your tent works fine before flower). No dome or anything, just put a bit more water in when the cup gets light.

A couple of weeks later...roots!

I ended up putting a small hole about an inch up from the bottom of the cup so I could know where the water level actually was!

Lots of ways to skin a cat though!

Ok, so nothing but rinsed perlite in a solo cup until they root, then transplant into soil? ok, I think I can do that. I remember seeing a video on YouTube of the same technique at the time I took my clones the first time, but it was after the fact.
Another mistake I made when I tried to clone the first time is that I put them under my t8 light after being under the SF led light @ 100%. But one did take but only Bc I scraped the sides of the stem (I assume) which I didn’t do to any of the others Bc I found out about it after I already took most my clones. So my plan is to scrap the sides after cutting at an angle. Then putting them in some clonex gel I have left over, then into a solo cup of rinsed perlite with an inch of water.

Well I guess I’ll have to wait to flip until I get my new light in Bc the t8 isn’t going to cut it this time. I’m looking into the @ViparSpectra led with at least 300w. That way I can use the SF 1000 led for my clones in my 2x2 SF tent. I’ll be ordering a light just as soon as I can decide on which one I want, omg there are so many to choose from. I’m also looking into @Mars Hydro led with at least 300 watts Bc I have about 270sf to work with, which is a little more than 30w of light per square foot which was recommended by @Graytail. With that said which one of your lights would you recommend for my 3x3 ac infinity grow tent?

Omg they are going through water like crazy! I gave them water w no nutes on Monday and a little more on Wednesday Bc I added some more soil to top it off. And wow they are so droopy today. It’s pretty late in the day to water but I was so busy this am I didn’t have the time and I’m afraid to wait until tomorrow am. So I’m watering with nutes right now.

Thank you so much @Trala!!! I’ll definitely try it out Bc hey you never know which method will be best for your grow and experimenting is the only way you’ll really know. So yeah it’s worth a shot, dare I say I’ll try anything once? Lol

Once they start to take off they take off!

In terms of the lights, reach out to the sponsors individually and see if anyone is interested in sponsoring your grow. So many great sponsors here you never know who might be interested. Let them know how big your tent

Oh yeah you can definitely say that twice lol….Ok, I went ahead and reached out to them both Bc hey why not. Thanks again @InTheShed for all you do and all the information you send my way, it’s very appreciated. :thumb:

These are the two lights I was debating between but I was having a hard time making my decision… @ViparSpectra and @Mars Hydro. But after reading the reviews and description a couple times, I think I made my decision on the @Mars Hydro. bc the @ViparSpectra seems just a little too complicated for my liking and type of setting and forgetting type of mindset when it comes to things like the light. I want to be able to set it (turn it on and off) and that’s it. It seems to be broken down into 4 stages, having to adjust both veg and bloom settings each stage. Although I do like the idea of having 2 stages of lightning. Oh well! @Mars Hydro seems to be perfect for my grow tent. but I still have questions.
In the pictures below where it’s says power draw is that the light wattage?

Don't search Amazon, check out each sponsor's website for what works in your size tent, and we have a lot more than just 2 that make great lights.
Ok, I’ll look at the sponsors website. However Amazon did say it was sold by the actual vendor and shipped by Amazon? I was alway under the impression that was the way you can tell if it’s a knock off or not?

Sorry, I wasn't talking about where to buy lights, just where to research them. Also, I was hoping you could be sponsored. :)
Oh ok, lol ….yeah me too, unfortunately I got turned down Bc they’ve sponsored so many people this year but maybe next year.

Damn bro that looks nice.

16-weeks Veg and all is well in growville. Trying to maintain an even canopy has been a learning curve for me. And a bit of a struggle as I have 3 sativa dominate and one indica dominate. The indica isn’t as tall but she isn’t that far behind. The 3 sativa dominate seem to be right at the same level, so I’m really, really stoked about that. My first grow never knew what a proper canopy was lol :p well at least I’m slowly starting to understand the process. I have about 2 weeks or less, hopefully less to catch up the indica to her cousins height’s. Just depending on when my new @Mars Hydro FC-E3000, 300w comes in. So I’ll continue doing some supercroping in the mean time.

Hey @InTheShed, I’m wanting to add some exhale to the tent. But I remember you once said…..well I cannot remember lol I think it was something along the lines of it being a waste of time or something like that? Mind if I pick your brain a lil on the subject?
