Clones In Soil: Hybrid Perpetual Grow 2021/2022

This is true, lighting is extremely critical and is more significant than which nutrients you use as long as they supply what the plants need. Light is how the plants get energy to use the nutrients to grow so light is like the fuel that powers the whole system. There are many good options out there for nutrients and that choice comes down to preference of the grower. Every nutrient line is slightly different and can perform differently in various systems so its about finding something that you like to work with that your garden is happy with.
Yeah I get it, all I was trying to say is that I won’t be getting hung up on the brand of nutrients anymore bc nutes are nutes, no matter what name is on the bottle. Wether I’m using 3 bottles or 6. No shade @Prescription Blend, none at all. my plants are thriving from what I can tell. I’m too new to be able to compare nutes, as long as they’re happy, I’m happy! And since I upgraded the light they’ll definitely need quality nutrients. Anyways @Prescription Blend seems to be at a fair price and that’s all that matter in the long run. As long as the quality is there and my babies are happy and thriving ofc.

The whole reason why I started growing was so I could become self sufficient when it comes to our medicine and saving my family money! But that’s another topic for another day. :Namaste:

Ummm oooh kay!!! These babies have only been in soil since Tuesday (4days) and they all look just like this too lol I’m totally effing floored atm like, what is going on??? Lol…. My first clones never had this much roots when in solo cups, I’m impressed! I wanted to ask if reusing the soil is ok, well looks like lol :circle-of-love:

This 3rd round I think I’ll go ahead and up pot, from here they’ll go into 1 gallon and then into their final 3 gallon pots. This time I will not be vegging as long as I did in round 2. I want them to be half the size they are now. I think this is going to be a really nice grow, it should go pretty smoothly being that I have everything I need and won’t be waiting around for something to be delivered. I’m thinking about upgrading my tent If I can’t get a hold of their size. I’m allowed to grow 12 plants at once, well 12 in Veg and 12 in flower. I’m no where near that number. I’m not sure I can handle 12 but I’d like to at least try idk maybe 6-8 plants would nice.

This was taken 8 days after transplant into soil. It’s bc I was using that t8 light and they didn’t like it at all but it was all I had at the time to start my clones the 2nd grow, what a huge difference.

:bong:

A perpetual grow with 12 plants in flower is a whole lotta trim I’d ease into that one. :rollit:
Yeah, no….Well actually, hell no!!! Lol…..I really don’t think I can handle that many all by myself, geeeze!! Hubby keeps making comments here and there about how I’m “only” growing 4 plants :eye-roll: but he’s only thinking of the rewards not the work that goes into actually growing a marijuana plant from start to finish. I have to remember this is coming from a man who brought home a clone one day out of the blue, after we had half a conversation on how cool it (he means well) would be to grow our own medicine. Lol 8-9 months later, we’re on our second grow. So yeah, not this time!:passitleft:

Told you those roots go crazy from perlite to soil! And I like all your planning for the future. :)
Omg I know, it’s so crazy to me how quick it actually was.
How long should I let them stay in the solo cup before I transplant into a 1gl pot, about 2-3 weeks?

Good morning @420giirl hope you are having a good day.
General rule of thumb when the seedling hangs over the edge of the solo cup she is ready to move up.
I personally like to get the cup full of roots before I move her to a bag or air pot.
Keep up the good work. :thumb:

Stay safe

I stubbornly wait until the plants can drain the cup of water and need to be watered again, in 24-36 hours, 24-48 hours for an auto. When the roots are strong enough to do this, it is time to uppot. If the roots are not strong enough to accomplish this task, I leave them where they are and tell them to work harder. I typically do not leave the solo cup stage until well after the 5th node has come up and usually I give them their first topping in that first cup. It is not a race to get out of the solo cup, and you need some objective goal to tell you when it is time. Grow a big leaved indica sometime and see how rapidly the leaves extend over the cup... it will be well before the rootball has formed.

Yup these were super cropped bent at about a 90 degree angle, I think bc I’m not good with measurements but they all bounced back almost straight up. what am I supposed to do to keep her down, maybe tie her? (Next time)
I think it’s too late now. I almost had the canopy level, ugh, well at least I think I know where I messed up and dropped the ball.

I train using Carhooks ™️ and hanging weighted rocks, padlocks and D shackles in Veg, but come flower I unleash them and let the fly.

They look great! Many in here go Gaga over a good plant knuckle!

Hi how r u? May I ask what kind of light you're using and what size is your tent?

Hubby keeps making comments here and there about how I’m “only” growing 4 plants :eye-roll: but he’s only thinking of the rewards not the work that goes into actually growing a marijuana plant from start to finish.
Sounds like (someone) needs to learn to trim... in fact maybe a designated trimmer job is in order.

No offense taken, in fact this is an important milestone as a grower and I'm glad to be here as you cross this bridge.... There are differences between nutrient lines but the important factor is that you and your garden like whatever you chose to use (this goes for soil/media, pots etc. just the same).

I knew you had a method lol I’ll definitely have to take a closer look! :passitleft:

Oh definitely, I’m just trying to cross each bridge as I get to it, not with out getting out and making sure it’s safe to cross of course lol
Tbh I still have a lot to learn when it comes to nutrients, which make me happy to have your expertise.
That’s why I wanted to make sure you knew I wasn’t throwing shade!! I’m a very happy person in general and would never come online to bash anyone or anything, at all for that matter :Namaste:

Ps. Yeah, we tried learning hubby how to trim last grow, he was doing well, until I checked the toss box of trimmings and there were so many huge buds in the box  needless to say, I about fainted and fired him on the spot lmao

Hi how r u? May I ask what kind of light you're using and what size is your tent?
Hey there marcus611a, I’m doing pretty good this Tuesday afternoon, how are you?? Let’s see here, my tent is a 3x3 ac infinity cloud lab. And I recently upgraded my light to a hydro farmer FC-E3000 which is 300w.
I really need to get the size of plant I’m growing in check bc I’m growing them out way too big for the space. If I don’t wan to keep upgrading all of my equipment. The struggle is real growing in doors that’s for sure lol
